Still the best of the Bonds in my opinion an all time classic. Love this movie.
I was very surprised how funny this is. Great show.
The Blob (1988)
Quality 80's horror
Thank God it is nothing like the original. This is a really decent Sci Fi horror, plenty of jumps and some very nasty bits.
No way this can be classed as a comedy surely, it's not funny. Avoid if you're after a laugh.
A.P. Bio (2018)
Surprisingly very funny
Glad I gave this a chance. Very funny show, good writing and acting. Very good comedy.
Hammer House of Horror (1980)
Classic Hammer. Low budget but very atmospheric and intense. Some very creepy stuff.
The Jewel of the Nile (1985)
Nice movie, a good sequel to Romancing the Stone. Not quite as good as it's predecessor but still alot of fun.
Romancing the Stone (1984)
Solid good fun movie with action and laughs. Definitely doesn't get as coverage as some movies if the same era which is a surprising. Real good fun this one
Perry Mason (2020)
It's Perry Mason in name only, but...
It's great. Look this really is only Perry Mason in name so if you want to see something resembling the TV show, this isn't it.
This is very dark and disturbing but makes for great viewing. Looks like a slow burner and one that I'm happy to watch.
I'd give it a chance and make your own mind up. Just don't draw comparisons with the TV show they really are not remotely alike in any way; like my review says, Perry Mason in name only.
They Came from Beyond Space (1967)
It's terrible even by cheesy Sci Do standards. It's that bad I laughed at parts the worst bit being Michael Gough as "The Master of the Moon"
The Wind in the Willows (1983)
Best TV adaption by a mile
Great adaption of a classic story. Watched this as a kid and it's still great now after 37 years
Gemini Man (2019)
No where near as bad as some of these reviews say. Good solid entertainment. I thought the way they did the young Will Smith character was really good. Nice movie.
Jonathan Creek (1997)
The one tarnish is the last few episodes when they married him off to a snob, ditched his windmill, tidied him up I mean that's just not Jonathan Creek.
I still rate this a 10 as the vast majority of the show is excellent, good characters and very imaginative stories.
Weird Science (1985)
Good 80's fun
It's just plain good fun, nothing to dislike about this unless you have no sense of humour. Solid 80's comedy.
To appreciate this you need to have watched the original show (all 3 seasons). This was a nice way to tie up loose ends and sign off on. Really enjoyed seeing these great characters again.
Howard the Duck (1986)
Oh god it's terrible
I never realised this was based on a Marvel comic character. I thought it was just a terrible comedy.
This is an awful movie, even by 80's cheesiness standards. Horrible.
Surprisingly very good
I was expecting a normal SyFy channel turkey but this is really good. Some of the low score reviews on here must have been watching a different show. Ok, the CGI is not Hollywood but not many shows are. It's a dark Sci Fi show with a good story and the acting is fine. Give it a go.
Not sure why this has a low rating of 5.9 as I type. This is a funny show, some genuine laugh out loud moments. Give it a try.
Dark, bloody, brutal but brilliant. Not for the squeamish. Love the fight scenes. Make more please.
Very funny. The last couple of seasons were the weakest after the Garvey's left but it was still a decent show. Surprised ITV axed this one, a shame.
Hilarious and often filthy send up of period costume dramas. Very good.
Good but not "outstanding"
I have only watched the first season. I've have it a 7. The actings fine and the storylines decent, but it's nothing special. I really don't get the hype around this show.
The Silence of the Lambs (1991)
Chillingly, dustrurbing, gruesome and utterly brilliant. Easily one of the best movies I have watched. Hopkins and Foster are excellent but so are the rest of the cast. A must see movie this one.
I was dreading it but it wasn't as bad as I'd expected. This is way better than the crock of s*** called The Last Jedi. It ties up slot of loose ends. Nice way to sign off the series.
Code 404 (2020)
Glad I gave this a chance. Daniel May and Stephen Graham did an excellent job here, it really is very funny.
