I waited until I finished all 12 seasons to give this a fair review so here's my summary:

Funniest moment in seasons 5-12 was Chuck Lorre's vanity card stating that the laughs you hear are genuine not laugh track. If this needs to be said then that's a really telling sign of were things are.

As others have said the first few seasons were actually pretty smart and funny. All the characters were very likable and each brought up very funny moments.

The Sheldon-Amy relationship is interesting. The first few seasons of them together, especially the first one was really funny and interesting seeing the dynamic of Sheldon with basically a female Sheldon. After they broke up and got back together Amy became unbearable!! Her character was basically reduced to suddenly snapping and shouting. Same goes for Bernadette.

At some point I remember trying to keep track of episodes where I even cracked a smile and for the last 5 seasons especially, 5-6 episodes would go by without a hint of a smile. Just terrible. You can stop after season 4 and use your time to watch Community or something else.

I remember watching the previews for season one of the show and thinking it had promise. For the most part season one delivered with some pretty good nerdy challenges.

I'll forever hate this show because for the whole season the best player was Genevieve.. she won most challenges and was truly queen of the nerds and then to crown the champion they basically turn it into a popularity contest by asking other players who they think should win. So of course the Asian girl, Celeste I think, takes the whole thing even though she did nothing to earn it.

Didn't watch the subsequent seasons, but always thought it was so unfair how it went down.
