The Mandalorian: Chapter 16: The Rescue (2020)
Incredible!!!
An amazing action-filled episode. Everything was perfect from beginning to end. Mando, Fett, Shand, Dune, Bo-Katan and Reeves constitute an unstoppable force with great chemistry - an exceptional and unparalleled team, although the addition of Ashoka Tano would have been the cherry on top of the cake. The darktroopers seemed undefeatable but in the end didn't stand a chance against Skywalker. I personally didn't except the appearance of Skywalker AND R2-D2 but it was amazing nonetheless. The farewell scene between Mando and Grogu was emotional, escpecially after Mando took off his helmet.
I don't know where Season 3 is headed towards but I can't wait a whole year for it.
Also, The Book of Boba Fett looks like it's gonna be awesome.
The Mandalorian: Chapter 9: The Marshal (2020)
Fantastic start
Amazing premiere. Loved the Krayt Dragon fight sequence and the Tusken Raiders. I'm excitedly looking forward to see Boba Fett.
All-round incredible episode and explosive kick start to the new season.
The Boys: Butcher, Baker, Candlestick Maker (2020)
BOOM!!!
Completely Astonishing. Homelander's family, Lamplighter's death, Black Noir's allergy and of course, head explosions left and right with blood and brain bits everywhere. One of the best episodes of the series.
The Boys: The Big Ride (2020)
Amazing kickoff to a season
All-round great episode. My favorite scenes include Black Noir's kill spree, Homelander's chat with Edgar, Raynor's unexpected death and Butcher's return.
We don't see a lot of Black Noir but when we do, he's amazing. Giancarlo Esposito is properly introduced as Vought's CEO Stan Edgar, after having a guest appearance last season. His character in Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul is one of the most memorable; really looking forward to seeing him more. A feud develops between him and Homelander and finally there's someone in Vought who's not afraid to stand up to him. I'm curious to see how the feud develops. Raynor's death was abrupt and gory and I loved it. Finally, Butcher has returned, "Daddy's Home".
Lucifer: Spoiler Alert (2020)
OMG!!!
Brilliant episode. We see Lucifer go full detective style, Pete showing off his creepiness, acting like dexter and an amazing fight and an unexpected ending. I didn't like Maze working with Michael but it had to be a 2-on-2 fight or else Michael wouldn't have stood a chance. And then GOD arrives. Finally, God as a main character. I love the God Johnson episode so this will be even more amazing. Can't wait for Part 2.
