I just bawled my eyes out at the ending i was ready to give the show a 5/10 just because of the absence of lesbians (there was only 1 lesbian in the entire show that just ends up getting rejected and becomes the bitter lesbien and then we never see her again) on the other hand there were at least a dozen gay men including the bisexual ones which were completely absent on the female side the show lagged after season 3 although i loved the first episode of it and had some solid episodes but they started to become few and far between and it became boring with some plotlines and characters that i had no interest in, for instance George and all the guys Claire dated that were just abysmally dull with the exception of Russel

it had some misogyny and backward beliefs but it was the early 2000s so wtv ig

but one of the best things i loved about the show were the characters especially and mostly Ruth and Clair's played brilliantly by the actresses respectively the last episode was a perfect ending to the show as a whole, i was uncontrollably sobbing lol

This series impacted me in such a painful and good way. It's incredibly heartbreaking to look back on this show, not solely because of the shocking deaths or the amazing lives they had but also due to the teen angst that reminds me of my own hopeless teenage dreams and struggles that still haunt me :'(
