House of the Dragon: The Black Queen (2022)
Season 1, Episode 10

Hotd Season 1
24 October 2022
I read a lot. That's why I'm annoyed that I'm not very good in English: as a result, I have not read the book Fire and Blood because it has still not been translated into Finnish. The books of the song of Ice and fire - especially the first three - are better than the series. I don't know if this is the same thing. Because, quite frankly, the series did not make the desired effect. Of course there were a lot of good moments. Directing, filming, effects ... all top -notch. But it felt like the visual world was just filling in addition to endless and useless dialogues. Nothing particularly shocking happened. There was too little intrigue too: the series couldn't surprise you, but overall it was ok as an entertainment. Hope the second season is better.

Great Show but...
26 August 2022
I say this a second Time but I can't help My self: I have been tapered of many times from opiates and have been in many rehabs and I seen a lot of people in withdrawal symptoms and have a lot of symptoms but coughing is not one of them. In real life, a person who uses heroin becomes so sick that then you can only lie down, you do not chase the bad guys a gun in your hand. The series is great and I watch it for the first time. But it's really annoying when the facts are wrong.

Othetwise good but
26 August 2022
I've been an addict for over 20 years and for over a decade I've been mainly using opioids so I know what the withdrawal symptoms feel. Nose and eyes are bleeding, bones ache, diarrhea, cold and hot at the same time. Even if Jack had slowly dropped the dose, heroin is such a powerful opioid that he would really not be able to do any activity if he has withdrawal symptoms. The series is great but it's annoying when the facts are not right.

First of all: Rest in peace Ray, you did good, as always.

That Larry character: it's some serious acting there. If that is'nt emmyworth acting i Don't know what is. I recommend to watch series called kingdom(not that famous one, i mean that series what came 2014-2017) he is so good in that series.

Not the Best prisondrama what i have seen but definately a decent one.

This series has a huge amount of Emmy nominations, but no wins. Giancarlo Esposito, Jonathan Banks: Golden Globe to another and Emmy to another. Rhea and Bob should also reward and the director and screenwriter. TV cannot be better than this!

why so low rating?
31 May 2022
The current rating in this series is 7.6, and much of the votes are given when only one episode of the whole season is presented. Why don't IMDB change voting policys? How can you criticize the whole series after you have only seen one episode? In many series, for example, Mr. Robot has the same problem. The series is barely fit on the top 250 list, although the episode ratings estimates are on average of 9 points. Couldn't that policy be changed that the series cannot be voted until at least one season has come out? Another problem with this series and its vote is that it is compared to The Wire Series, which is a fiction while this is a true story and as such a very well -directed, acted and written. The series was interesting and I looked at it without blinking, and the biggest star in the series is Jon Benthral: I hope this series will serve as a springboard for other main roles for him. Realistic, raw, brutal and very dramatic. One of The best TV series at the moment, I would have looked at more, the subject is interesting and there are certainly enough stories to tell. Great TV entertainment once and for all. Hopefully the series will also receive the attention it deserves in the emmys.

It was realistic ending, if you didn't like outcome, you still don't have to give those one Star reviews... Overall this is My one favourite Show of all Time. Sure, they should make five seasons, to wrap up this, use some Time for it. But still, this was quite a ride from start to finish.

The episode provides plans for a near future, how to survive this increasingly difficult situation. Nothing big happens, but contracts are made, lots of variables, interesting, really interesting. This is a skill of how to create expectations. How to create excitement and tension. How to Create anticipation. High expectations for the next episode. Incredible TV entertainmet.

It's ok.
4 April 2022
Warning: Spoilers
Overall, a good season, though the episodes of three and four slowed the whole show, and towards the end, it began to show, that the end result would be rushed.

I expected more Paul Andersson's character: last season was just presented himself and the character didn't evolve at all. More consequences from opioidaddiction would have been necessary to see. Graham and Hardy, I would also like to see more, and I would have hoped for a different and more intense final between Mosley and Tommy. Tribute to Polly was very successful, he would have been proud. Other fine scenes were seen like Tommy in Russia in the bar drinking water, or Tommy in another bar with the bomb. Polly and Ruby's funeral. Good music, good actors and detailed directing. Well authentic. The fourth season was still the best, the fifth worst, sixth something in between. Hopefully the movie will fix the deficiencies that have been rushed together.

The Last Kingdom (2015–2022)

destiny
23 March 2022
Warning: Spoilers
Because I do not speak English very well, and because I'm in a touching state of mind, I'm no very good to put it into words what kind of travel The Last Kingdom series has been. So I do not even try to write a review that would bring about the glory of it what it deserves, but my heart wants to tell you something, a few ideas, a few words, about this underestimated series, which hopefully achieves enough large audience into the future. I have read all the books, and the scriptwriters have made a series of better than books, if you measure what is better by the tension or the excitement or entertainment value of the series.

I would have added to Uthred's eye angles to a couple wring up, added a little gray to his hair and beard, cause he must be about fifty years old into final season. And I would perhaps increased - at least the last season - the old man drinking beer, watching the fireplace, remembering past like the books did. I would also have made uthred a bit more harsh character who curses more and behaves more like in books. But overall i think this is is perfect just the way it was.

Actors are top notch, dedicated, and very credible. Description is class of its own, from the earliest periods when the budget was still small into the very final moment, however: they received it look great whole the time no matter how big or small budget were.

The series is shocking, interesting and credible. The last season was a great, touching way to ending series, five successful sesons no unnecessary minutes in it; it is a quite achievement. I am not a sure to compare this to game Thrones because it would be an unfair comparison, as Got has, however, supporting the freedom of fantasia, a greater budget, and perhaps the best original author of all time. But I will place this series permanently to your own top five, and I will be re-and rewatch it again: I will be moved, crying, feel the rage of injustice, with the experimental things in this very authentic series: this series is talked to grandchildren, telling about the feast of the fighting, blood skirt, and unprecedented beauty, For this series is a time-shaped classic, and as a valuable artwork as well.

As good as it gets
21 January 2022
I'm not wrote reviews about a year, now, however, I would like to say a couple of words: I've looked at the Ozark series of all episodes at least twice and after the third season I thought that this series is as highlighted as for examble Mr. Robot or Breaking Breaking Bad, and this first episode prove that I'm right: this is as good as TV series gets. Very realistic, dramatic, shocking, the atmosphere has been created to threaten even when the threat should not be There, that tells a well series character's state of mind. Tension is always present. The exhibition and character development is spectacular to watch, directing is amazing and especially the series of writing is at its own level. This better value streaming service users can not get their money.

Where are the plot? What this series trying actually to achieve?
1 May 2021
The book on which the series is based on is brilliant like a series of self: the first two seasons have been a great TV entertainment. Control, effects and perhaps the best female actress's performance that the TV has been offered in recent years. This series was in my personal favor but unfortunately I feel that a series rotate the sircle again and again: Constantly someone is on a run trying to scape and - in the end - get caught: Constantly new tortures. It seems that the manuscript does not matter so, but trying to force the series to create a just the powerfull expression and strong and severe scenes trying to save series. What about a story itself and going forward? As spectacular as the series is(directing, acting) it's not really offered anything new. I hope I'm wrong and this season will raise this fallen series.

Stunning absolutely stunning
13 December 2020
Warning: Spoilers
It's been a while since I last wrote a review. The reason is that these exceptional circumstances - as we all know - have not been favorable moments for quality series. This year, of course, has been the brilliant Ozark, the epic exquisite The Last Kingdom and the original and brilliant The Boys. And perhaps the most anticipated series, Fargo betrayed me so badly that I didn't even look at it to the end. This series, these two episodes, have been absolutely captivating and spectacular episodes. Stuhlbarg, which has reminded me of one of the best series of all time(Boardwalk Empire), manages brilliantly as the head of a crimefamily, as does Cranston as a judge, Cranston who never fails. Every performance of the exhibition is pure art. Description, editing, music, atmosphere ... Everything is intertwined, making this a very high quality series. To top it all off, the script has so far been stunningly constructed. Here we can have a series of a year. Bravo!

This series is creating its own class in terms of shock value: unpredictability is shocking, weird and very twisted and sometimes hilarious . The directing, exhibition, staging costume, effects are like watching a high-budget movie. This series is going to be memorized a thing of the past, this series is talked about as it is today about breaking bad or sopranos; here comes the classic
