13 Reasons Why (2017)
I'm serious. Why do you even like this crap? Suicide rates have gone up because of it. I repeat, it encourages suicide. If you want proof, there has been a 53% increase in suicide related searches. So much for a show trying to stop it.
Gemini Man (2019)
I can't believe I wanted to watch this. I wanted to sleep watching this. So many plotholes. I watched this on the plane because judging by the trailers, it was going to be awesome, but no. I blame myself for not reading any of the critic reviews. This is not FANT4STIC levels boring, but it's still really boring and slow-paced. It's even worse than Suicide Squad in my opinion. The acting is good and the action is impressive. That's the best I can say.
Captain Marvel (2019)
Debunking the review bombing.
First off, "it's unbalanced". Does that mean the first 2 Superman movies and Man of Steel automatically suck because they have an OP main character? Or is it because the main character is female. If that's the case, you're mysogonistic. But then, you could combat that statement 'with "it potrays women as super strong". Well, does that mean Wonder Woman automatically sucks because Diana is too OP? In that movie, she has to team up with a man, and so does Carol Danvers in this movie. But you could fight that with how Brie Larson is a feminist, but you shouldn't hate a movie because of a certain actress.
Unlike most people, I have actually seen the movie and found what most people say about it is untrue.
NBA 2K20 (2019)
Microtransactions. That's all I have to say.
Oh, crap, I have to make my review longer? It has a terrible plot, atrocious dialogue, explicit soundtrack (THE GAME IS RATED E!) and lots more.
Yet. Another. Bad. Adam Sandler. Comedy (though better than most bad Adam Sandler comedies)
This is one of the worst movies of 2015 (albeit not as bad as Fifty Shades of Grey or FANT4STIC).
Let's start off with the good, the action is solid, the soundtrack is awesome, the CGI is amazing compared to other Happy Madison Productions films, and it is funnier than most modern Sandler comedies. Not to mention its premise being incredibly clever.
Now, the bad: The acting is beyond lazy. Sure it's not as bad as Jack and Jill, but it's still pretty lazy. Now, Sandler's character (Sam Brenner) is quite unlikable, as he is a cliched character who is lazy and hates his job. Josh Gad's character (Ludlow Lamonsoff) takes his obsession towards a female video game character to the extreme. Peter Dinklage's character, Eddie Plant is very unlikable and cliched as he trashes anyone who does worse than him. The jokes are just lazy and crappy, such as Q*bert urinating in the Donkey Kong battle. We haven't even gotten to the worst part yet: The ending. (sigh). So basically, Ludlow falls in love with Lady Lisa, who was the only video game character who turned into a human, but after Brenner, Will Cooper (Kevin James' character), Q*bert and Violet successfully defeat the aliens, Lady Lisa is returned to the mothership, and since they keep their trophies, Q*bert stays and turns into Lady Lisa
I really wanted to like this movie. But I just couldn't.
Ready Player One (2018)
Intense, amazing VR adventure is one of the best films I've seen.
This is such a good film. I don't know where to start. Ok, so the CGI and visual effects are incredibly good, the characters are amazing and unforgettable, the acting from actors such as Tye Sheridan, Olivia Cooke, Ben Mendehlson and Lena Waithe is incredible. The plot was amazing with an important message on spending more time in the real world. Oh, and the action scenes are amazinh
