Barry (2018–2023)

This show has everything
20 January 2020
HBO's hottest show is "BARRY". Former SNL member and current boyfriend of the internet, Bill Hader, has gone ALL OUT. This show has everything! Depression, ptsd, a morally conflicted hit-man, and if that's not funny enough, just wait till episode 7!

Okay, but seriously, this is an amazing show. Really well written and acted. The shifts from comedy to drama are so intense! I love how the mob guys are written, especially noho hank and the humour that character brings. I love how all of Barry's actions are in-line with his character and what we know about him so far. This show is so good. I am forcing everyone I know to watch.

Binged it in one day!
20 October 2019
This title just popped up on netflix today, i wasn't aware of it, and went in knowing nothing except it was Paul Rudd x2, who could resist?

I binged the whole thing in one day and cannot wait for more. I thought it was going to be much darker, but it is really funny and surreal and it works so well.

Paul is amazing, hard to tell he is the same person playing two parts, they do an fantastic job distinguishing the two characters. I LOVED IT. Fingers crossed for a season 2.

DAVID TENNANT WAS PHENOMENAL
20 September 2019
I've just watched the opening episode for Criminal-UK. David Tennant was incredible, what a performance! I didn't know if I would like the interview-style set-up but it keeps you on your toes the whole way. Great suspense. I'm looking forward to watching the other episodes, but the show definitely started out strong!

From book fan to TV fan - #SaveShadowhunters

Give the show a chance! I found the first few episodes hard to get in to, so I put it off for a while, but once the show got it's legs it turned out to be really good! Season 2-3 is where it's at! The show really stepped up it's game when Darren Swimmer & Todd Slavkin (who also produced Smallville btw) joined the crew in season 2. I only started watching when it went up on Netflix, I really hope it gets picked up for season 4.

*spoiler below for new fans, but continue to read if you are a book fan*

If anything, watch for the development of #Malec. The relationship between Magnus Bane and Alec Lightwood. If you are a fan of Malec in the books, you will not be disappointed with the TV portrayal! 😏
