Waterloo (I) (1970)
I know 10/10 is too much, but for me as an Napoleonic Enthusiast, it's an adequate review.

Warning: Spoilers
The movie is just epic. The amount of work put into this movie earns it a place in my heart. The soundtrack which was composed by Nino Rota, is impeccable. The situation is expressed very well by music. Before the battle of Waterloo begins, a trumpet in the distance playing the French anthem slowly is heard, this give an impression of something big incoming. The battle.

In the final scenes of the movie, the advance of the Old Guard (The actually old guard) plus the epic marching song "La Victoire est à nous" played by the drummers makes me want to charge with them, even though I'd probably be massacred with them.

This is a short review, but I hope this convinces you to watch this movie. Cheers!
