If they make a second season I have a message for the next participants: go into the building grateful you got this opportunity, do not take yourself too seriously, learn new techniques and the most important of all: support the people who are surrounding you. The real purpose of this show is to inspire viewers to follow their dreams and try new things in the kitchen. Even if you don't win, you are still promoting your skills and work-ethic to the viewers. It does matter whether you are selfish or not in that kitchen. It matters in the long-term and it matters for prospective connections you will make. Life is not always about winning and it was sad to see that some of the participants didn't learn this by the end of the first season.

I watched this for the first time in middle school and now in my middle twenties, both times it was an equally enjoyable experience. What makes ATLA special is the incorporation of serious themes, presence of intricate characters, natural occurring humor and a spiritual core that's hard to miss. The series will have an impact on many generations to come.
