At the police line-up, both witnesses identify Ezra as one of the felons, but they disagree whether he is the one who was driving the car. Mrs. Berger incorrectly identifies Eli Salomon, one of the other suspects at the line-up, as the other felon. Hadad has doubts about Mrs. Berger's testimony, and he demonstrates to Eilon how eye-witnesses may be wrong.
- The teenagers Choo-Choo and Ezra steal a car, drive wildly and hit a kid named Eitan. They panic and escape from the crime scene. Sergeant Hadad and his new assistant David Eilon start investigating the case.
- The accident victim Eitan, severely injured, is brought to hospital. After escaping from the crime scene, Choo-Choo and Ezra abandon the stolen car. Sergeant Hadad instructs his assistant Eilon about the investigation procedures, while repeatedly commenting that they must not jump into conclusions. They question Eitan about the accident, but he does not remember much. Meanwhile, Ezra feels guilty and panicky, but Choo-Choo is indifferent. The stolen car is found by the police, and inside it are important clues, among them a football lottery ticket. The findings verify that stolen car was the one which hit Eitan.
- Sergeant Hadad presents the case at the court. The police findings verify that Ezra was in the stolen car, so the judge orders that he will remain in custody for two more weeks. Eli Salomon, who was incorrectly identified as the second felon, is cleared after his alibi is confirmed. Hadad and Eilon show Ezra the evidences which tie him to the accident and try to persuade him to confess, but he keeps denying his guilt. The football lottery ticket which was found in the car lead Hadad and Eilon to Danny 'Choo-Choo' Goldfarb, and he is arrested. Since the police has enough evidence to prove that Choo-Choo and Ezra drove the stolen car which hit Eitan, Hadad informs them that they are charged with hit-and-run accident, and advises them to tell the truth.
