- The show revolves around the manic antics of the Stunt Dawgs, a band of Hollywood stuntmen (and one woman) who double as troubleshooters. The team, led by the gung-ho Needham, consists of: Splat (a wealthy guy who speaks like Dudley Do-Right and specialized in plane stunts), Crash (the cool African-American who specializes in car wrecks; he also has the misfortune of being endlessly pursued by an obsessed female fan named Velma), Sizzle (the token female whose passion is pyrotechnics) and the rookie Skidd (an unkempt New-Age dude who drives a motorcycle). They also have a dog mascot named Human. The Dawgs' adventures always seem to involve foiling the schemes of a crazed villainous Hollywood producer/director named Richard P. Fungus and his band of stuntmen; the Stunt Scabs, consisting of Airball (Fungus' sycophantic French sidekick), Budyear (a big lunk who'd do anything for money), Half-A-Mind (a disfigured stuntman who has the habit of falling to pieces-literally-and of course, has a notoriously small intellect), Lucky (who, of course, wasn't; he attracts bad luck wherever he goes), and Whiz Kid (a geeky genius responsible for the Scabs' technology). Fungus also has a slimy lawyer at his disposal named Slime.

Unfortunately, the patchwork baby gets into the game and overflows the number of players, trapping them in a deteriorating program from which they have little chance of escape. Otto had no wish to actually harm them, and must try to get them out.

- Animated TV-film version of Frances Hodgson Burnett's classic children's story about a spoiled English orphan who lives in India but is transplanted to her uncle's old, mysterious house in England after her parents' deaths. After making friends with a country boy and several animals, who talk here, she discovers many secrets on the grounds, including a locked-up, neglected garden and a locked-up, sickly boy, who turns out to be her cousin. Far too much time is spent here on the children's attempts to save the sickly boy's life from the evil housekeeper and doctor, who want to kill him and inherit the house.

Plato tries to help her get her it back by telling the story of "The Minatour", where an opportunity was taken to protect people in spite of the danger. When Zach acts confident, Ari points out to them both that different levels of courage are needed in different situations, as shown in Aesop's fable "The Brave Mice", and Plato speaks of William Tell, who put plenty at risk for his own sake and others'. Even the poem "If" is a reminder about how much courage life demands all in all.
- Zach is sorely tempted to touch his dad's beautiful antique camera, despite promising not to - and when he does, he breaks it and lies that it fell off its display table naturally. Plato tries to convince Zach to tell the truth by telling him the stories of "The Frog Prince", where the title character received a punishment for breaking a promise and another had to keep one made, and the legend "George Washington and the Cherry Tree", whose protagonist too broke something he promised to leave in good shape but learned his lesson in a different way. Annie even tells a family tale of "The Indian Cinderella", where an Algonquin warrior only wished for an honest companion. Even the poem "Truth" shows how good it is and how much joy it can give through life.

Ari tells "The Chest of Broken Glass", where a mother reminds her family what rewards responsibility versus irresponsibility bring and how much can be owed to those in a family. Even the poem "If You Were" sums up what responsibility everyone has to humanity to make the world better.
- Hypnotia sinks a Russian nuclear submarine with all hands on board. A year later, the submarine surfaces near Scotland with its entire crew transformed into radioactive zombies loyal to the Mandarin.
- The stock markets crash after a massive failure in a military early warning system. Mandarin and Modok are using the crisis for profit and manage to brainwash Jim Rhodes into turning again Iron Man.
