- The Sealink British Ferries Challenge Presented by Mike Smith and Stirling Moss from Lydden Hill and West Mailing Famous personalities are teamed with equally celebrated professional drivers to race bulldozers, buses, rally cars and army transporters, to complete a Trials Cars circuit and then have a puncture. Actor Oliver Tobias joins Britain's most successful rally driver, Roger Clark. Tom O'Connor becomes Britain's fastest comedian with the help of Grand Prix driver John Watson. Sarah Kennedy is with Britain's last World Grand Prix champion, James Hunt. Pink Floyd's Nick Mason has driven regularly in the Le Mans 24 hours race and now joins World Landspeed record holder Richard Noble.
- Presented by Murray Walker and Sybil Ruscoe. This is the seventh year of this special pro-celebrity driving competition, which has now moved to Perth, Western Australia. Four teams compete for 'The Dunlop Trophy' by driving a variety of vehicles, ranging from giant road trains, driving an 'Ute' (Utility Pick-up) - backwards. Also a Fire-truck to put out a fire, Ute and tractor pull, dune racing in 4x4's to gravity-defying Honda Quads. Among the guest celebrities are some of the stars of the Australian medical drama series 'The Flying Doctors'. Rebecca Gibney, who plays Emma Patterson, teams up with world motorcycling champion Barry Sheene; Peter O'Brien (pilot Sam) is with Formula 1 racing driver Martin Donnelly. Lenore Smith (Sister Kate) is paired with top rally driver Ross Dunkerton. And one of Australia's greatest cricketers, Dennis Lillee, partners Australian touring car champion, Peter Brock.

- Driving Force - Snow Special, For the Shell Trophy from Isola 2000, France, Presented by Mike Smith and Murray Walker. Skidoos, ice-driving, Piste-bashers (Snow Groomers) and snow chains lie in wait for the competitors :- Formula One driver Derek Warwick and goalkeeper Pat Jennings ; World Moto-Cross champion Dave Thorpe with Toyah Willcox ; Top rally driver Louise Aitken-Walker with Peter Howitt (Joey from Bread) ; Sports car driver John Watson and Lennie Bennett.
- The Multipart Challenge Presented by Mike Smith and Stirling Moss from Tidworth and Thruxton. An ingenious new test of driving skills in which professional drivers are teamed with famous personalities as they race chieftain tanks, trials cars, digger trucks, articulated lorries, rally cars and then replace a puncture. The teams: Rowan Atkinson with top British rally driver Tony Pond, Malcolm Macdonald with Britain's top Grand Prix driver Nigel Mansell, Anneka Rice with hot-rod and rally-cross star Barry Lee, Murray Walker takes a break from commentating with three-times Le Mans 24-hour winner Derek Bell.
- The Sealink British Ferries Challenge Presented by Mike Smith and Stirling Moss. The fourth year of this special pro-celebrity driving competition. It is hosted first by The Royal Armoured Corps at Bovington and then the Royal Armament Research and Development Establishment at Ringwood. The competition includes driving a Chieftain tank, Rallypoint, driving blindfolded and a go-kart race. The competitors: Stunt motorcyclist Eddie Kidd joins International Cricketer of the Year Chris Broad. International Rally Champion Ari Vatanen teams up with stage and television Roy Marsden. World Sports Car Champion Derek Bell is with 'Evita' and 'Starlight Express' star Stephanie Lawrence. Formula One's Derek Warwick joins comedian Gary Wilmot.
- Presented by Mike Smith and Murray Walker. This is the sixth year of this special pro-celebrity driving competition, which has now moved to Jersey in the Channel Islands (UK). There are exotic machines such as Dingos, Unimogs and Esarcos which lie in wait for the competitors, as does the tide!. The teams include: Former world motorcycle champion Joey Dunlop who teams up with Barry McGuigan. Formula 1 driver Jonathan Palmer is with Mark King from 'Level 42'. Swedish Grand Prix driver Stefan Johansson's team-mate is 'Holiday 89' presenter Kathy Tayler. Double world champion rally driver from Finland, Juha Kankkunen is joined by Phillip Schofield from 'Going Live'.
