Ironically on the day of Chand and Henna wedding he manages to regain his memory and confesses his Hindu identity to the community thus Khan Baba decides to make all arrangements to send him back to Hindustan. Before Chand can cross the Pakistan border he is apprehend by Shahbaaz Khan only to prove to be a traitor send down by the Indian Government to spy on the Pakistanis.

But Tony and Jojo find out and kill both Shekhar and Seema. Vijay is devastated by the loss of his two best friends and is comforted by nightclub dancer Sapna, and he falls in love with her. After his friends' deaths, he finds out that Tony and Jojo have Ajay on their hit list, so he tries to stop them, but his police commissioner, Shashi Kapoor, warns him against it.

Toofan's motive in life involve to clear his father's name by retrieving the stolen gold and at the same time bring the real culprits to justice while Shyam's motive is to perform the stunt that killed his foster father.

He meets with Rekha and Ranjit and offers Rekha the opportunity to act in his new film titled Do Anjaane. Rekha and Ranjit grow suspicious of Naresh Dutt as they start to realize that he bears a striking resemblance to Rekha's supposedly deceased husband Amit Roy and the storyline of his film eerily mirrors Rekha's past life. Both the sons readily agree to do this, and Ram goes to Durgadevi household as a servant to woo Shanti; while Laxman poses as a wealthy playboy to woo Roopa. But Makhanlal and his wife, Jwala (Shashikala) want Roopa to marry their jailbird son, Chander (Ranjeet), and will not stop at anything, including abducting Durgadevi herself, to pave their way to wealth.
