- Raju comes to Bombay chasing his dreams, but keeps losing out on opportunities. His love, Renu helps him find a job. Success goes to his head until one day a tragic accident destroys his reputation.

Seema and Romeo must wake up, stop working for their dads' killer, and take swift action on him.

When the mother dies Anand wants to unite Prem and Maya but Prem says it is against Hindu culture and disappears from their life.
- Bhrastachar tells the story of a disparate group of characters whose lives overlap- Bhavani, a journalist fighting injustice and corruption; Janki a widow who becomes the mistress of local hoodlum Fatte to save her blind daughter; Inspector Ashutosh, to whom Bhavani entrusts Janki's safety and who maintains that even the police can take no action against Fatte, because politicians need hoodlums to remain in power; Purushottam, Fatte's political godfather who tries to win votes by promising the people a fair and an ideal government and Sattar, who, although himself a Don of the underworld, is not a vicious and depraved person like Purushottam and tries to help Bhavani.
- Vijay falls in love with Soniya in the dancing school where both are dance instructors. Thakur who is a confirmed bachelor is also drawn towards Savitri Devi; who is being impersonated by Soniya.

- Sunil, son of D.I.G. Shyamlal Mehra, is back in India after successful completion of his medical studies. He gets an offer to work with his fiancée Dr. Neeta Verma, in a private hospital but he joins a municipality hospital, instead. According to him medicinal practice is a sacred profession which should not be treated as business. A short visit to a small village inspires Sunil to come and stay at that village and serve poor villagers, who do not have a single doctor in nearby dozens of villages. He comes to the village and sets up a hospital with limited facilities. He encounters village belle Phoolwa and his father Dayal. Phoolwa cooks food for Sunil and also helps him in routine hospital activities. Sunil and Phoolwa fall in love and decides to marry but Dayal opposes this alliance because Phoolwa is not his real daughter but his younger brother dacoit Lakhan's, who wants to kill Sunil since he is son of a police officer who wants to arrest him. Police force raids Lakhan's vicinity to arrest him but he only gets injured and escapes. Dayal and Phoolwa finds and brings him to surrender to the police and get him treated by doctor Sunil. But Lakhan dies. D.I.G. accepts Phoolwa as his daughter in law.
- Deepali is the only daughter of a wealthy but deceased industrialist, Lakhanpal. While on a holiday in Northern India, she meets with and gets friendly with Pritam. Unknown to her, Pritam has fallen head over heels in love with her, and wants to marry her. After Deepali returns home, Pritam follows her, meets with her maternal uncle, Choudhary, and creates a very good impression of himself. As a result, Choudhary is convinced that Pritam will make a good husband for Deepali. When Deepali finds out, she is enraged, as she has seen Pritam only as a friend, and her true love is another eligible young man by the name of Ajit, who Deepali has decided to make her life-partner, regardless of any and all consequences.
- Ranjit was a badminton player and his family once lived a good life.Ranjit now cant feed his family as he has turned handicapped and feels of attempting suicide. One morning Ranjit tires to commit suicide by jumping in front of a train from a bridge.Next he is seen walking without a stick and meets a man called captain who tells him that he has died and is now a ghost and ask's him why did he commit suicide.
- Haridwar-based Neelkanth Pandey and Shambhu Nath get their children, Bhagwantiprasad and Parvati respectively, married. Whille Shambhu re-locates to live in Bombay, Neelkanth continues to reside in the same residence. Years later both children have grown up, so Neelkanth invites the Naths to finalize the nuptials. Very soon the Pandeys will face humiliation and ridicule at the hands of Parvati, who now calls herself Pamela, and Shambhu, who wants his daughter to marry someone sophisticated and wealthy, while Parvati is in love with a singer named Rocky. Bhagwanti is determined to fulfill his parents' wishes and decides to stay wed to Parvati, re-locates to Bombay, to try and woo her back - with results that will end up changing his life forever.
