Shortly thereafter, Ameer himself is killed, a mortally wounded Yashoda gives birth to a boy, names him Krishna, asks Abdullah to care for him, and passes away. Abdullah overcomes his fears of bringing up a Hindu boy, and looks after Krishna as his own. Then Khaleel's Magician informs him that he is going to die at the hands of Krishna, just as Bhagwan Shri Krishna was known to have slain Kans, his maternal uncle, so also will Khaleel's life end at this Krishna's hands. Angered at this, Khaleel sets out to kill Krishna. He attacks Abdullah, abducts Krishna and readies him for a sacrifice, that will get rid of any threat against him. Will fate intervene to save Krishna, or will Khaleel succeed in sacrificing him?

Her ailing mother-in-law passes away - Shanicharni is unable to weep; Years later, Ganju gets killed after consuming holy water from a temple - Shanichari is unable to weep; When Budhwa get's married to a local prostitute, Mungri, who becomes pregnant, and then subsequently aborts the child - Shanichari is unable to weep; When Budhwa runs away from home, never to be seen again - Shanichari is unable to weep. Then a woman named Bhikni enters her life - she is called Rudaali - one who accepts money in turn for loud laments, weeping, & beating of the chest when a rich man passes away for a small fee, some milk, oil, and flour. Bhikni would like Shanichari to also be a Rudaali, but Shanichari eyes are always dry. When Bhikni is called for a day in another town, it is then Shanichari receives word that Ram Avtar is no more and she is called to be a Rudaali. Knowing fully well that she cannot shed tears, Shanichari does attend the funeral - and it is here that she will receive the news that may bring real tears to her eyes.
- Mangal Singh (Rajesh Khanna) has been a career criminal, whose criminal career began to steal food and to keep from starving, and thence got him in deeper and deeper in the criminal world. His crimes have caught up with him and he is sentenced to be hanged. He dramatically escapes with the help of underworld don, Suraj (Pinchoo Kapoor), and is on the run from the police. He lands up in a small village in Northern India, and becomes a school-teacher with the help of local restauranteur, Bijli (Mumtaz). He takes on the identity of Ramu, a friend of Shravan, and goes to live with Shravan's parents, Lalaji (Om Prakash) and Malti (Nirupa Roy), little knowing that they are the parents of a man he killed while escaping from the police.

Meanwhile the brave Sultan takes a fantasy to queen Shehzadi Yasmeen, is made to enter a death race but emerge victorious and in the process abducts Yasmeen but eventually both fall in love. Then Sultan receive news that Razoulli was killed by Khalid - Sultan then swears to destroy Khalid. When Sultan gets informed that Samir and his beloved, Zarina is returning from abroad he attempt to abduct them albeit unsuccessful. Shortly after Sultan and Khalid begins their fierce battle against each other - a battle between father and son - fully well knowing that only one shall survive.

- Professor Vidyadhar teaches Hindi in a college and resides in a flat with his wife, Shobha, and school-going son, Pappu. He leads a fairly routine and mundane life, until a new resident in the flat upstairs moves in - an attractive young actress by the name of Menaka Khanna, the daughter of a wealthy man, Dinanath. Shobha does not approve of her at all and tells her so in quite a candid manner. An enraged Menaka swears she will make Shobha regret her criticism. So she decides to seduce Vidyadhar and does succeed to a considerable extent, and even plays his bride in a commercial for "Vicks Vaporub". When Shobha finds out, she decides to put an end to this affair, and a terrified Vidyadhar consumes a portion that makes him invisible, thus temporarily saving him from his wife's wrath. This does leave his free to pursue Menaka, only to find out that Menaka has two other much younger suitors, namely Ranjit Das and Vinod, and both are not likely to give Menaka that easy - at least not without giving the Professor a run for his money.
- In aid of seeking revenge for his dad's death, against a bandit called Kala Daku, Shankar team up with two men, a police inspector, Mangal and a run away convict, Vijay. Shankar makes his living by driving a truck while Vijay and Mangal masquerade as villagers to surface as saviors to protect the village against Kala's gang. And then Kala and his men abduct Vijay; now Mangal and the entire police force will have to negotiate with Kala to let Vijay off in exchange for the landlord's son.
