- 6 friends started a television production company, "De Parelvissers" (The Pearlfishers). 7 years later one of them, Jan De Ridder, took 100 million francs out of the bank and disappeared without a trace. Shortly after that the company went bankrupt. Another five years later the younger brother of Jan, Piet De Ridder, invites the other 'Pearlfishers" to a remote house in the Ardens, to make a documentary film about the company and hoping that together they may find some answers about what might have happened to Jan.

- Xavier must transport a contagious virus to the military hospital. However, his army jeep breaks down in front of Dimitri's garage. Boma's car breaks down at the same time, at the same place. Dimitri spills coffee on the virus.
- Bieke came home early from the United States. She instantly looks for a job and a decent car. She goes to work at Publitime, a news magazine. Meanwhile, Dimitri has purchased an overpriced car. He wants to sell the car to Bieke.
- Boma pays a moral psychologist, Pieter-Paul Pereboom, to improve the results of the team. Pereboom becomes Oscar's assistant. Dimitri is impressed with Pereboom and wants to know more about the right selling technique.
- There's a big fair in town. Dimitri organizes an open house for the occasion while De Kampioenen play a home game. Boma has invited the town's sports deputy. However, some players call in sick. De Kampioenen need an eleventh player.
- Doortje repeatedly thinks she's having contractions. De Kampioenen have to play an away game at F.C. Stomp. Oscar has a headache, since he is worried about the chance of father-to-be and key player Pico leaving so he can be with Doortje.
- Dimitri finds a hidden cash box by the roadside, opposite his garage. He picks it up but Doortje spots him. Dimitri forces Doortje to keep mum but soon the regulars find out. Pico and Doortje empathize diligently with their parenting role.
- Boma has a new girlfriend, Chantal De Graaf. They met in a car accident. However, Chantal has some bad intentions. She's with Boma to rip him off and to make him sell the football pitch. She seduces Pico and Xavier to make Boma jealous.
- Doortje fakes a postpartum depression so that Pico will take good care of her. Carmen wants a dog. She finds out about Doortje's fake depression and copies Doortje's depression to make sure Xavier succumbs to her nagging and buys a dog.
- Boma and Pico run for Mayor in different parties. Both try to influence Dimitri as he's the Acting Returning Officer. Boma uses radio broadcaster Marc Vertongen to help with the campaign. With the media behind Boma, Pico loses heart.
- Dimitri has the opportunity to become a local car branch manager and he must expand his garage. He wants to buy Boma's soccer pitch. Dimitri and the car branch delegate pit the women against each other to drive a wedge.
- Since a couple of days there's been a smell in town. De Kampioenen think the stench comes from Dimitri's leaking gasoline tank. Later on, this turns out to be unjustified. Dimitri pleads not guilty.
- Boma is looking for a new player. He negotiates with KV Vlam to sign Tony Vanleer. Dimitri hires Tony to work in his garage. But then Tony seduces Doortje and Carmen and starts dating out of his league.
- Carmen has won a radio contest: a weekend trip off the coast and a concert of Julio Iglesias and The Chippendales. She asks Doortje, Pascale and Bieke to go with her. It's Oscar's birthday. When the cats are away, the men are having fun.
- The Flodders are about to inherit a fortune from an old aunt, but only if Ma Flodder displays good manners can she achieve nobility and get the cash.
- A couple of neighbours find a woman that looks exactly like Ma Flodder. They decide to hire her so this lookalike can cause some serious damage in Zonnedael, causing the police to arrest the real Ma.
- When Johnny forgets about Mothers day, he quickly needs a present he can give to Ma. He decides to give her the gift of a wedding; her oldest son is getting married. An enthusiastic Ma starts planning the wedding right away. However, Johnny doesn't even have a bride yet. And that is of course something he can't let Ma know.
- Daughter Kees has a pen pal in prison. When Johnny and son Kees find out, the pen pal turns out to be 'Cold Arie', a notorious criminal who is being released on short notice. Things get even worse when daughter Kees admits to Johnny that she promised Arie she will marry him as soon as he gets out of prison
- The queen decides to visit Zonnedael on the national holiday of Queens Day. The neighbourhood as wel as the local government try to get rid of the Flodders for this day so the family can't ruin the festivities. However, the Flodders have no plans on leaving since it's Ma's birthday.
- A baby gets left on the Flodders' doorstep.
- One of Ma's old lovers is being released out of prison. This guy named Danny always said to take revenge on her because she betrailed him. Johnny and Kees make sure that no one gets into their villa by defending their house with everything they got.
- When Ma visits her doctor, she is being told she has only a couple of months to live. Johnny takes drastic measures but is this really necessary?
- During a drive, son Kees falls out of the car and hits his head on the pavement, causing him amnesia. He turns into a well-mannered young man who does chores for the neighborhood. This to the frustration of Johnny and the rest of the family. They will try everything to get the old Kees back. Meanwhile, Sjakie is really fond of the well-mannered Kees and decides to introduce two important government people to him.
- Johnny tries to earn a lot of money by producing a number of tapes of telephone sex lines with Daughter Kees and Son Kees. It goes wrong when one of the tapes is accidentally swapped with a tape of neighbor Neuteboom which he had made for the funeral of a colleague.
- Johnny and Kees get into a fight with Vince, one of the members of the tennis club of Zonnedael, at a local video store. Vince challenges Johnny into a real boxing duel. Johnny ofcourse accepts. But then Vince turns out to be a boxing champion. And even worse, after Johnny injures himself, Kees has to take his place in the big fight...
- A burglar is very active in the neighborhood and the Flodders are the usual suspects.
- Kees falls in love with a police officer causing outrage from the rest of the family and Johhnies buddies.
- The neighborhood wants the Flodders to go and tries to catch them red handed selling illegal whiskey.
- Johnny agrees to hide an Italian for a night for 5000 guilders. However, Ma shouldn't find out because Johnny doesn't think she'd agree.
- Ma Flodder has grown extremely fond of Vitorio. They are even planning on getting married. Johnny decides it is time for drastic measures.
- In order to make up for a spelling error on merchandise, Johnnie enters Kees in a marathon and resorts to the lowest tricks so she can win.
- Son Kees orders a hypnose course in order to get in touch with women.
- When criminality gets out of hand in Zonnedael, the neighbourhood is setting up a neighbourhood watch. Son Kees is the first to apply voluntarily.
- Kees has to join the army. Johnny needs him for a poker game and therefore tries everything he can think of to keep Kees from having to go.
- After Whiskey molests the postman again, Sjakie wants the family to insure themselves for these kind of 'accidents'. When Johnny learns more about insurances, he finds a couple of ways to make some extra money.
- A local candidate for a spot in the town council discovers his only chance of winning the election, is by promising to throw the Flodders out of Zonnnedael.
- When a F16 fighter pilot loses his bomb, it falls right into the Flodder's swimming pool. When son Kees finds it, he assumes it's part of the fireworks that Kareltje should deliver because of New Years Eve. Kees starts carrying it around the house not knowing he is causing severe danger to his family. Meanwhile, Sjakie comes along to show his new car to the Flodders.
- Doortje goes to see her gynecologist and since she says 'doctor', Dimitri thinks Pico abuses her. Doortje calls Pascale about what her doctor said. Oscar hears a few things and mistakenly thinks he made Pascale pregnant again.
- Carmen seems to be tired of Xavier's parakeets. When he's on a military training, Xavier gets them of the house since he is afraid Carmen would do them harm. Bieke offers Xavier to take his birds in.
- Johnnie is forced to help catch an international crime syndicate. For their own safety, the family must leave their house. They return to their home in complete disguise. The neighbors think a new family moved into the Flodder-home and they are very relieved. The Flodders find that their new identities gives them a few advantages too!
- When Ma appears to be lonely, daughter Kees suggests to put in an anonymous contact add for her to meet someone. When Johnny, Kees and Kees arrange a date for her with someone who applied, they do not know this person is in fact Sjakie...
- Toet gets kidnapped, and learns a valuable lesson about family.
