Khurram gets stabbed but with Arjuman's help he recovers, returns home, but does not tell his father, fearing for his health. When Jehangir hears of Arjuman's assistance, he gladly arranges their marriage, while Saifuddin ends up marrying Ladli. Then Khurram is sent away to another kingdom, leaving Noor Jehan to plot against him. When Jehangir falls ill, she takes over the reins, has Khurram declared an intruder and sends her armies to bring him in or alternatively his two sons. Watch as events unfold, which will ultimately lead to the building of one of the seven wonders of the world - The Taj Mahal.
- A widower with three young children finds himself in debt. Blinded, in an industrial accident, he loses his job and is admitted to hospital. Upon returning home, he overhears the heartless landlord criticising him for not dying instead of "merely" blinding himself because, if he were dead, the children could be looked after in an orphanage. He finds her and their romance is rekindled. The authorities find Kais' longing for Laila unusual as he values her love above that of Allah, he is declared insane, and people are encouraged to stone him to death. He survives and Kais' dad and mom fall at the feet of Laila's dad and beg him to permit this marriage = he reluctantly agrees - on the condition that Kais undergo a test to prove that he is not insane. Kais fails in the test, and Laila's marriage is arranged with Shehzada Ingne Salaam, who has offered Emir E Basra enough wealth to last them for centuries and generations to come. Will Laila give her consent for this marriage? What will Kais do under these circumstances?
- A loose adaptation of Charlotte Bronte's classic, Jane Eyre. In this version childhood sweethearts are separated and grow up in different worlds. The girl is brought up to be a 'pujaaran' (priestess) while the boy grows up to be a dejected 'thakur', turned vindictive by life's injustices. Fate inevitably brings them together at a later juncture, and all seems happy and perfect for the young couple, until she discovers his deep, dark secret.
- India is in a state of war with Japan and former Colonel Kapoor's sons, Rajan and Ram are both with the Indian Armed Forces. While Rajan is a Wing Commander with the Indian Air Force, Ram is a Major with the Indian Army. Rajan is in love with a doctor named Usha Choudhury, and both plan to get married. Then Usha meets with Ram, who unknowingly falls head over heels in love with her. Before anything can be finalized, Rajan is asked to bomb a secret Japanes airport located in a mountainous valley. While carrying out his duties, he finds out that his mission has been compromised, unable to return, his plane is shot down and he is believed to be dead. The Indian Army wants to destroy this secret airport and sends a crack Commando unit under Major Ram, who sets out to carry out this task. What Ram does not know is that this mission has also been compromised and he and his men are all set to walk into a carefully planned trap by the Japanese - who will ensure that no one survives to tell this story.

Shanti, who lives a poor lifestyle, with her dad, Ramdas, the owner of a publication 'Praja Samachar', and her mom, travels to Delhi to have her eyes operated on. The operation takes place but she is still unable to see, and when they return home there is more bad news as Ramdas has been arrested for killing Dindayal's chauffeur, is found guilty, and sentenced to two years in prison. Questions that remain unanswered: Why did Ramdas commit this crime; will Shanti regain her sight; what impact will Ramdas' conviction have on Basantpur; and what will be the fate of Ramdas and his family after he completes his time in prison?

His mother decides to lend a hand, does some work at a construction site, and tragically passes away. Sona completes her education and falls in love with a wealthy young man named Raju. When Kaalu finds out, he goes to Raju's dad, who is none other than Kaalu's employer, who refuses to accept Sona as his daughter-in-law, but subsequently changes his mind, apologizes to Kaalu and both decide on an early marriage. While Kaalu is grateful that Sona's future in-laws are not taking any dowry, he decides to marry off his only sister in style and give a big party. The question remains - where will Kaalu get the money to host this reception?
- Rajan "Raju" Khanna lives with his elderly father Nihalchand, his mom, and his younger sister. He studies Arts in college, and has a sweetheart, fellow-collegian Neena Bakshi. Neena is engaged to marry a handsome, rich young doctor, and her dad refuses to even consider Rajan for his son-in-law. Disheartened, he returns to the military and goes into the war zone. He volunteers to rescue a senior military officer, gets through enemy lines, and is shocked to discover that the senior military officer is none other than Major Bakshi. Both men know that only one of them can make it safely back to his base.

When Vijay finds out, he confronts her, and it is then Mala tells him that she is pregnant and going to have a child - a child that is definitely not of Vijay's - but of an unknown lover of Mala.

The King was so much impressed by Ashiq's personality that he agreed to give the hand of his daughter Rukhsana in marriage to him. However, destiny made Mir Qasim grab the Magic Lamp and with its help he succeeded in foiling the marriage ceremony of the two lovers. The king and Ashiq were thrown in the dungeon. Rukhsana was sent to his bed chamber to satiate his lust.
