- Kenji Sakuragi is a lawyer and former member of a motorcycle gang. He takes on the challenge of preparing a special class for a famous stupid school, Ryuuzan to enter the prestigious Toudai University.

This drama was based on a manga series of the same name by Eiko Tachibana, which debuted in 2019. "We Are Too Clumsy About Love" is a 2020 Japanese drama series that was directed by Koji Ono and Hidetaka Sakamoto.
- Takechi Hanpeita, a samurai of Tosa domain who campaigned for the expulsion of foreigners, unwittingly travels 150 years in time from the last days of the Tokugawa shogunate to present day Japan. He becomes a teacher at a private school run by Saeki Makoto in a village in the remote countryside through an unexpected turn of events, and solves all kinds of problems in the village with methods unique to a samurai.

With the knowledge he has gained from attending university classes Yukio soon realizes that his company does indeed exploit its employees. A power struggle soon begins inside the company.

Debt-laden and feeling unneeded to the world, he sells off all his belongings and plans for his death date. However, on the 1st day, he meets Yashiro Heita as well as numerous other characters who will cause him to experience the most eventful 11 days of his life.
- The body of a young lady, who had been fatally stabbed in a back alley of Yokohama's shopping and entertainment district, is discovered. Four detectives from the Fourth Section of Minato-cho Police Precinct's Criminal Affairs Division " Togashi Masayoshi, Iinuma Reiko, Shibata Yasuharu and Yamashita Manabu " quickly rush to the scene. Togashi finds something in the pocket of the dead body and nonchalantly hides it in his own suit. He presumes Reiko and the others will turn a blind eye even though they have noticed it. Detectives from the prefectural police's First Investigative Division arrive shortly after that. The members of the Fourth Section, who have been deprived of their right to investigate by the First Investigative Division, dejectedly walk away from the scene. However, they secretly begin their own investigation. Three days later, Satonaka Keiichiro, the Fourth Section's new chief, arrives. Satonaka himself believes he has been demoted to the precinct because of he denounced the unfair appointment of the prefectural police chief's nephew. However, the objective of Maejima Ryuzo, the head of police administration who sent him into Minato-cho Police Precinct, is to let Satonaka keep tabs on Togashi and the Fourth Section. Maejima warns Satonaka that there is a "bad rumour" about the Fourth Section. Togashi and the others are seen as misusing their high arrest rate and frequently disobeying the orders of the prefectural police. In fact, they are even suspected of all kinds of illegal activities which include extorting confessions under duress, having cosy ties with crime syndicates and accepting bribes. Tokunaga Yasushi, the former section head who was investigating the facts, had lost his footing on the rooftop of a building while pursuing a robber and had fallen to his death - Was Tokunaga's death really an accident?! Satonaka regards his new subordinates with caution but the four of them are unexpectedly affable and excellent detectives, especially Togashi who is a stimulating and gallant man. They give Satonaka a thorough report on the investigation into the murder which occurred three days ago, and say that they are searching for eyewitnesses in line with the prefectural police's position that it was a "random attack". He feels relieved to see their serious manner. However, several days later, Satonaka discovers that their entire report was nonsense..
- In the year 2141, Japan successfully builds a basic time machine that can send data to the past. However, an evil organization further develops the technology, making it possible to send objects back in time as well. The organization begins a plan to send 5 terrorists back to the year 2012 in order to assassinate the ancestor of an important person from their time. The future government, alerted to this fact, uses its time machine to notify the government of 2012 about the plot, telling them to recruit 5 people in order to seek out the terrorists.
- Ikeuchi Hikaru works for a design company in Tokyo and has a fiancé Okugawa Kota. However, her life suddenly changes with the appearance of her ex-boyfriend Moriyama Shin. She had once loved him to death but he vanished all of a sudden after telling her that they are breaking up. The feelings that Hikaru has tried to suppress are rekindled when she is reunited with Shin, who is in Tokyo for three months, and her heart seeks him even though he is now married with a wife, Ran. Meanwhile, Detective Keiichi Tashiro is diligent and enthusiastic with his investigative work. The two men frequently argue, but also cooperate to solve the cases.

Kanno stars as the unfortunate heroine with an ugly personality who grows through her encounters with this good-natured middle-aged man.
