During the course of his investigation, he becomes romantically involved with Ginger Sullivan (Lorna Gray, the singer at the swanky resort hotel on the coast near the sunken ship.

"Pappy" confidentially tells Dan he can't be chased from town if he buys any piece of property and even gives him the cash to but a worthless lot behind City Hall, where the troupe sets up their headquarters. But through a mix-up Dan has accidentally brought the City Hall... and times will be changing in Harmony.
