- Desiderium lyrically charts the hapless loves of three brothers: Majid, the young handicapped brother with a deformed head who falls in love with Aghdas, a prostitute hired by his eldest brother Habib to entertain him, not knowing the truth about her profession. Karim, the middle brother is so infatuated with a quail that he almost completely ignores his wife and her emotions. Habib himself is in love with Foroogh, a tailor lady who lives with them, while his sense of responsibility about Majid keeps him from requiting her affections.
- Sohrab is going from his city Abadan to work in his uncle's factory in Tehran. Sohrab meets a girl Taraneh who is pregnant. She with the help of Asghar Zhila wants to accused Sohrab of being the father so he pay for her abortion. But Sohrab falls in love and decide to marry his uncle's only daughter Leila while Taraneh is not leaving them alone. He has a quarrel with Taraneh in a boat which lead to her death and the arresting of him.
- Reza Motori, who has feigned madness, escapes from an asylum and robs a factory, with the aid of a friend. Afterwards, a young writer, who looks exactly like Reza, visits the asylum in order to write about inmates. There he is mistaken for Reza and detained. Meanwhile, Reza assumes the identity of the writer. Reza falls in love with the writer's fiancée and decides to give up the money he has stolen from the factory, but his friends prevent him from doing so. Ultimately, Reza is killed when he collides with a truck on his way to meet his beloved. Received the best actor and best music prizes at the Third Iranian National Film Festival "Sepas" in 1971.
- This film, based on a well-known novel of the same name by Sadegh Chooback, is about a wronged man seeking revenge. Director Amir Naderi's inspiration for making the film was one of his childhood heroes, the legendary Zar Mohammad, who waged a one-man war against four swindlers and provoked wide spread popular sentiment against tyranny.
- Inspired by Iranian folk tales and reputed as the first Iranian musical movie, the film follows the story of the lazybones congenitally bald Hassan who is tricked out of the house by his mother. Then he learns about Chelgis, a girl kidnapped and kept by an ogre in his enchanted garden. Smitten by her beauty, Hassan tries to find a way to save her. In a public bathroom, he encounters his doppelganger. The doppelganger promises to fulfill his wishes in return for a fraction of his life. But when fulfilled, his wishes do not emerge the same he envisioned...
- Two sisters from an aristocrat family fall in love with the son of their driver. Finally the little sister retreat for the oldest sister to get marry with him.
- Nayer is a young orphan girl who lives with her aunt Efat and is pregnant from Morteza who is a skint and careless about his life. He has escaped the military service several times. He goes to Anzali and when finds about her pregnancy wants her to abort the child. To do so they go to Tehran but the aunt sends a guy after them. There they meet another couple which change their mind.
- Naderi's second film is set in the slums of Tehran. Hanging out in a pool hall, Ali Khoshdast becomes involved in a brawl with three brothers, and accidently kills one of them. He runs for his life, eventually taking refuge in the home of a young woman. The victim's brothers continue the chase, and finally close in on him. Following the murder, streets, alleys and houses that were all part of Ali's everyday world suddenly become dangerous and hostile. Although in many ways a classic tale of revenge, Naderi uses this story to imply that an underlying violence pervades society, ready to burst forth with or without justification.
- A thief accidentally overhears a phone call in which the caller lies to his wife while cheating on her. Thief decides to blackmail him.
- Hassan falls in love with a young girl named Fati. Fati loves a young man named Mehdi. Hassan plans to be the winner in this love triangle. However things do not work out as planned.
- An archaeologist who is after an antique carpet comes to the village. The carpet belongs to Samad but he has sent it to Leila's house. The archaeologist tries to steal it from them but is unsuccessful and the police intervene which lead to the rest of the story.
- Siamak is a thief who is working for Abbas Khalkoob. He lives with his gambler friend Taghi in a rented room. One day Siamak pick pocket a guy in the bus but Reza (Gogoosh) steals it from him. This leads these two to know each other and fall in love. Siamak brings Reza who is sick to his home to take care of him. Until they decide to steal from a company's safe which put them in troubles with Abbas and his gang.
- Morteza (Parviz Fanizade) has a junk shop. He loves his wife Esmat (Iren) madly but Esmat loves another person named Ali (Behrooz Behnejad). Esmat writes a letter to her lover and asks him to come and save her. Ali accepts her request and goes to Morteza's house. Morteza agrees that Ali and Esmat stay in his house but Esmat do not leave him alone. Esmat and he lover live in main part of house and Morteza lives In the corner of the warehouse. His wife's harassment continues until Morteza gets acquainted with Khorshid (Nuri Kasrai). Morteza (Parviz Fanizade) and Khorshid (Nuri Kasrai get to know each other better. Khorshid asks Morteza to come to her house and Morteza often goes to her house. Little by little, they like each other and Morteza decides to marry her. Morteza explains his plan to her and says that they will go to his village, after marriage. On the other hand, Morteza forgets Esmat Little by little. At the same time, Ali and Esmat relationship deteriorates and Ali becomes discouraged. Esmat and he lover live in main part of house and Morteza lives In the corner of the warehouse. - Norooz's family convince him to sell the old house in order to build a new modern house, but building of the apartment takes long and he runs out of money. Norooz continues the building by himself but strange things happen that drive him crazy.
- Sadegh and Naeem deliver some smuggling goods to a person and escape from the police. Meanwhile they meet a young girl who wants to get her ill father to a doctor. She asks them for help but Naeem has bad intentions. Sadegh does not let him and both begin to quarrel which lead to the killing of Naeem. Naeem's mother who wants revenge seduce the girl to testify against Sadegh which causes his imprisonment. After 12 years he is released and gets back to see his only son but Naeem's mother is become aware too which lead Sadegh to take action once again.
- Borzoo is gambling and his wife is not happy with that. Finally he decides not to gamble anymore and takes an oath on himself not to do. But his friend Ali is in desperate need for money for his sister's marriage. Borzoo breaks his oath to gamble once more and brings money for his friend. But this time terrible consequences are waiting for him and other gamblers.
