- England and Wales has the highest imprisonment rate in Western Europe at 153 per 100,000 of the population. Prison population across the UK stands at over 92,000. Families of prisoners are the invisible victims of crime, serving their own sentence of isolation, stigma and financial struggle. This is one of 5 short films commissioned by Prisoners' Families and Friends' Service to raise awareness of the difficulties faced by the families of prisoners, and to highlight the contribution they can make to reducing re-offending. According to Government research, prisoners who are supported and visited by their families are 25% less likely to re-offend than those who have no family contact or support.
- Join Vasily, and the crew of the Europe Orion, on a trip from Holland to Ireland and learn about 'the sea life'.
- A Safe Place was been distributed to all schools in the UK. Presented by Gary Lineker, it's a hard hitting look at prejudice faced by asylum seekers in the UK. It follows two young adult asylum seekers, interspersing their experiences with viewpoints from famous footballers who are also immigrants to the UK, like Thierry Henry, Ashley Cole, David James, Shaka Hislop, Lua Lua and Shola Amoba. Next week it will be broadcast on Teachers' TV. The programme is made by the charity 'Show Racism the Red Card' which specialises in helping schools to combat racism through the use of footballers as role models. Libby talks to Ged Grebby, the founder and guiding light of Show Racism the Red Card.

- Robert Papinyan was Odessa's first private investigator. A former murder squad police detective, he started his own agency in 1996 and since then he has seen an increasing demand for his services. But although he earned his reputation as a police detective solving big criminal cases, it is his work with smaller domestic investigations that gives us an insight into some of the realities of the new Ukraine. Ukraine's 2004 "Orange Revolution" threw out the old Russian-backed political regime with promises to fight corruption, but since then crime and corruption rates have in fact increased. All of which makes work for the growing numbers of private investigation agencies springing up around the country. And Odessa, often called the "Miami of the Black Sea", has its fair share of those. Odessa is a beautiful, historic and truly international city where Turks, Armenians, Orthodox Jews, Bulgarians, and Chinese rub shoulders with European sex tourists in Parisian style boulevards. This Russian-speaking resort town is also famous for both its thriving criminal underworld and its entrepreneurial spirit. Filmmakers Raj Yagnik and Grigory Charushin follow Robert and his business partner and fellow detective as they take on cases which lift the lid on real life in Odessa.
- Gurning is the art of pulling ugly faces. The World Gurning Contest takes place annually in the North West of England, and has done so ever since 1267. This film captures the tensions and the euphoria surrounding this sublimely daft event.
- The elderly residents of King Charles Court in South London receive a Christmas visit from Judy Garland. Don't laugh, that'll be you before you know it.
