- Afraid he may have committed a murder, Jackson visits his friend Lucas hoping for help. Little does he know that Lucas has problems of his own; namely, drastic side effects caused by an experimental device he's built as a therapy to treat mental illness.
- Sandy (Hayden Gold) is a young man with a sudden itch to go surfing. Leaving home and hitchhiking alone to the ocean, he meets a handful of unique characters along the way, both sincere and sinister. A mix of surf film and art film styles, the film could be described as 'Gidget' as if directed by Wim Wenders.
- Ambitious students Marcel and Andre travel to California's Channel Islands to investigate a mysterious environmental threat. Cut off from society and entranced by an enigmatic woman also staying on the islands, the pair find themselves physically and mentally altered by their exposure to the elements. But as one of them weakens and retreats, his companion plunges headlong towards an indescribable new consciousness in his quest for knowledge and unity.
- Friends and observers share their memories of Julian, a young philosopher who became the center of a cult by preaching about sex, art and science.
- The Night Man is a psychological portrait of Max (Michael Eisner) while he experiences a mysterious existential breakdown. His primary symptom is that he sleepwalks at night with no memory of where he goes. His girlfriend June (Kathryn Lyn) has her theories, as does his friend Nick (Hayden Gold). Hypnotism, a séance, faith and medications all fail to help, until Max - (on the edge of sanity, and armed with a video camera) - decides to confront his own subconscious face to face. If you've enjoyed offbeat and surreal stories about identity crises as in The Twilight Zone or the films of Roman Polanski and David Cronenberg, you'll be intrigued by the philosophical questions raised in The Night Man.
- A young man is kidnapped by a radical group, held for ransom and systematically brainwashed.
- An alienated, world-weary drifter searches for the inspiration to complete a book of existential philosophy that he has been writing for years.
- Christian Fabriano is a successful young gallery owner who is currently preparing an exhibition for a renowned Italian artist. As he tours a museum to gain some peace and inspiration, he reflects on the various situations in his life; including an up-and-coming artist who wants his sponsorship, interviews with the press, and his acceptance of a solitary personal life in order to devote all of his passion and energy to promoting his philosophy on art.
- In an empty, desert landscape, a man wakes up alone. In pain, with no water and no memory of who he is or how he got there, he sets out to find help. As the elements take their toll on him, he begins to doubt his sanity.
