Während sich seine hochschwangere Ehefrau Juliana von ihm alleingelassen fühlt, wünscht sich seine Geschäftspartnerin Lara mehr Einsatz bei ihrer Kita. Nicht nur die Kinder müssen das innovative Konzept mit Ruheräumen besser annehmen, auch bei den Eltern erhitzen sich zu Freddys Leidwesen die Gemüter. Im dritten Film der quotenstarken Reihe rückt Drehbuchautor Sebastian Orlac die Spannungsfelder von Vertrauen, Verletzlichkeit und Stärke ins Zentrum. Bewährungshelferin Klara Sonntag geht ihre Arbeit zwar mit Herz an, achtet aber auf Korrektheit. Ihr rechtliches Koordinatensystem kennt die Beamtin selbstverständlich, als sie über den Angeklagten Henning Stehmann ein Gutachten schreiben soll. Ihren Gerichtshilfe-Auftrag, bei dem Anlagebetrüger nach mildernden oder verschärfenden Umständen zu schauen, müsste sie allerdings aus Befangenheit abgeben: Henning ist ihre Jugendliebe "Struppi". Sehenden Auges lässt sich Klara nicht nur auf seinen Charme ein, sondern beginnt sogar den Unschuldsbeteuerungen des charmanten Überzeugungskünstlers nachzugehen. Nicht einmal Biggy kann Klara ins Gewissen reden. Auch die befreundete Kollegin tut sich unterdessen mit ihrem aktuellen Fall alles andere als leicht. Der verurteilte Volksverhetzer Telschik, den Biggy zum Ableisten seiner Sozialstunden bewegen muss, provoziert mit Sticheleien. Als Biggy einen Fehler macht, kann sie sich auf Klaras Lösungskompetenz verlassen.
