- "Life is all about choices.": A truthful and seemingly simple statement, but it only grows more complex as one delves into it further. The choices we make not only have a profound impact on our individual lives, but to all those around us. At its core, Choice Road: An American Tale, is a film that's driven by that idea. A collaborative effort between writer G. Lloyd Morris, IAM Film Works, and DreaMedia Productions, Choice Road is a fifteen minute short that follows a young boy named Langston and the choices he makes that ultimately leads down a dark path - specifically regarding gang violence. With cooperation and funding from the U.S. Department of Justice, Christiana Care, and the Wilmington Police Department as part of a new anti-gang initiative, Choice Road sets a new standard for public service videos with its top-notch production quality, strong character driven narrative, and honest portrayal about this national issue.
- GUN COURT is an educational video designed to show how Juvenile Gun Court works. Juvenile Gun Court is the brainchild of State of Delaware Chief Judge Chandlee Kuhn. The goal of Gun Court is to give youth who have earned gun charges a second chance. Upon sentencing, they are strategically placed in programs that allow them to continue their education, learn job skills, and receive mental health treatment. In addition, Chief Judge receives updates on the particular juvenile, even until their release dates. The goal of the court is to stop juveniles who are first time offenders from receiving adult charges. This program is funded through the Delaware Criminal Justice Council by the U.S. Department of Justice, Bureau of Justice Assistance.
