- Hosted by award-winning journalist Liz Faublas, The Other 99 T.Y.M.E.S: Count Your Blessings is an in-depth look at the lives of ordinary men and women who have accomplished extraordinary things. Guests share deeply personal experiences of tragedy and redemption about topics including overcoming the death of loved ones, battling illness, and recovering from financial ruin. The program, inspired by the book, "The Other 99 T.Y.M.E.S: Train Your Mind To Enjoy Serenity", written by bestselling author Carlos Wallace, explores how the driving power of faith, gratitude and positive thinking proves stronger than life's greatest challenges. Do you focus on the one time things went wrong, or the 99 times life works in your favor? The Other 99 T.Y.M.E.S: Count Your Blessings reveals just how far appreciating the good in your life can take you.
- In the winter of 2015, there were approximately 60,000 men, women, and children staying in New York City shelters.* Of these almost 25,000 are children, and close to a third have mental illness. This does not count the homeless who are sleeping on trains, on benches, in parks, in abandon buildings, or with friends or family. This is the highest number of homeless since the Great Depression. Shelter in the City is a 90-minute documentary on homelessness in New York City. A variety of individuals and organizations have been interviewed to try to get a better understanding of the causes of homelessness and, hopefully, to try to find a solution. *Coalition for the Homeless
- Portraits of Faith is a wonderful documentary style bio of Seamus's journey to the U.S., his travails in the boxing world, reaching #3 world cruiserweight and fighting #1 world ranked heavyweight Evander Holyfield for the U.S. heavyweight title. He is also a director, filmmaker and has made two short films-YouTube and is the lead actor in two Off-Broadway plays Kid Shamrock by Bobby Cassidy Jr and Eleonora Dusé dies in Pittsburgh by Don Nigro.
- Finally, a Christmas television special for the entire family. DeSales Media Presents: A Christmas Variety Special - an exciting, fun-filled, heartwarming hour of holiday cheer, music, laughter, and, of course, the original reason for the season, starring Anthony Mangano and Joe Manno. Among the merry moments (and occasional mayhem) are a zany house painter on the loose for the holidays, an inept "Efficency Elf's" visit to Santa's Workshop with the hardest working elves on the Southside of the North Pole, and one family's uproarious misadventures in selecting the perfect Christmas tree at their neighborhood tree lot. Musical highlights include traditional songs and other holiday favorites, plus a visit with some children who really understand the meaning of Christmas. The program concludes with yuletide carols performed outside a church in celebration of the true reason for the season, the birth of Our Lord. There's something for everyone in the DeSales Media Christmas Variety Special!
- America is a country built by immigrants and refugees. Is it doing enough to uphold its long tradition of helping those in need?
- Is Boxing a sin or a gift from God? Can a sport like Boxing coexist within religion? It's not uncommon to see athletes praise God before a match, are they praising God for their blessings or shaming him by performing? Sports has the ability to unite people regardless of their religious or social differences and boxers see only two colors the red corner and the black corner. If these athletes can see past their differences then why can't we, if 2 boxers can brutally beat each other during a match and then shake hands then we can at least show respect to our neighbors. Ring of faith will challenge those questions and ask religious leaders for the doctrine and discover why their is such a connection between Boxing and faith and if this will bring them closer to heaven or hell. Sports is the bridge that can unite us all.
