- Produced by Gier Productions, LLC and directed by Michael Gier, an award-winning director/producer, "Healing the Heroes of 9-11" is brought to you by 22Zero, a nonprofit organization that has helped thousands of Active Duty Military, Veterans, and First Responders battling Post-Trauma Stress. The award winning film features five 9-11 first responders as they discuss what they experienced and how it's impacted their lives the last 20 years. Then they go through the Trauma Resiliency Protocol (TRP) and are interviewed afterwards to see if it made a difference; all five saw life changing results. If 9-11 first responders can benefit from TRP then anyone battling PTS can also get their lives back.
- Post-Traumatic Stress (PTS) among our Veterans and 1st Responders is a serious problem with far to many taking their lives by suicide. Most are given prescription drugs but as many have said, "medication is just a band-aid over a wound that will never heal." Our heroes deserve more than just a band-aid and so director/producer Michael Gier went on a mission and found successful alternative treatments that give anyone battling PTS their lives back by healing the wounds of PTS. This award winning documentary features life changing options that give people HOPE; literally saving lives.
- The film follows a family struggling in a very tough economy. As they lose everything, they learn valuable lessons including how to be content and have faith no matter what life brings.

His inability to cope with everyday issues, without flying into a rage, forces his wife Debbie to give him an ultimatum, get help or get out. An estranged father with a secret past and a Marine buddy who's on a path of self-destruction sends Mark's life spiraling hopelessly out of control. Mark reaches out for help only to be sent away with a handful of medications and a prescription for disaster. Desperate and at rock bottom, he finally gets the help he needs through an alternative treatment that has saved thousands. The pieces of his life begin to heal and a trip to the Veteran's Memorial in Washington DC brings reconciliation between a father and a son.
