- A telephone operator at an opulent hotel falls in love with a young man who turns out to be a rich oil millionaire.

Delatour learns of his wife's presence at the party from one of the baron's women, and when Tolento makes Diane heir to his fortune, he becomes convinced of her infidelity. But the statement of Mimi, the baron's mistress, proves the innocence of Diane, and she is reconciled with her husband.
- An impoverished British lord (Paul Menford) impersonates a doctor in order to woo an ailing American heiress (Dorothy Adams). The lord is in it for love, but his business associate (Joe Diamond) smells money.
