- When Harald was nineteen years old, he was one of Sweden's most promising orienteers. He had obtained his first job, he was handsome, he was popular, he was going to be something big. When we meet Harald, he is a little criminal, just over 40 years, and still dreaming of the big breakthrough for his rock band. Harald is dealing with antiques. Usually stolen goods, "found" in empty houses in the countryside. One day a young woman knocks on his door. She says that Harald is her father. To get an adult daughter is a shock to Harald, but that's not all. The reason her daughter looked him up is because that her own daughter has been kidnapped, and she has no one else to turn to. Now begins a dramatic struggle to find the child. ... when Harald was nineteen years old and his life was on top he was in a traffic accident, and has since been paralyzed from the waist down. He's in a wheelchair.
- Josefin and Moa are two inseparable sisters who, unlike their friends, live a very hard life with their aggressive father who takes poor care of them; when they don't bare at home anymore, they turn to the Welfare Office to seek help, but no one believes their story. A cleaner at the Welfare Office heard their story and gives them an address to a place for children who don't feel comfortable in their home, and the sisters decide to escape from home and go there. But the journey is very long and they have no one to turn to and no one they trust.
