- She puts her feminine wiles to work in an unscrupulous quest for material gain. This cautionary tale raises the question of boundaries and of what is morally appropriate in achieving one's goals.
- "A Villa in the Algarve" is the third film in the trilogy which includes "A Castle in Umbria" and "A Chateau in the Loire." Characters from both films reunite to celebrate the wedding of Nathaniel and Lindsay who met on opening weekend at the Chateau du Lac. It's now 2 years since they first met and the company which purchases and renovates historical properties is celebrating the opening of the Portuguese Villa with their nuptials. But trouble is afoot when wedding plans begin to unravel and the bride is no where to be seen.
- Michelle comes to the Algarve to meet her boyfriend for a love trip and, quickly understands that this will be a lonely journey. Eager to not waste her time she decides to explore the area on her own. Soon enough she meets a group of surfers in Sagres and finds in one of them, Nathan, the perfect replacement for her loneliness. Between smiles, flirts and provocations the two end up in bed and making the most of their time together. Surprisingly, Nathan gets sick after these encounters and Michelle might be the one to blame. How can one deal with the burden of self blame?
