- After 20 years abroad, a Venezuelan woman finds her family's plantation occupied by ex-workers. In her quest for justice in a lawless environment, she unleashes her brutal side.
- In February 2014 the student protests in Venezuela paralyzed the country. The University community peacefully demanded personal security, and a solution to the heavy economic crisis, but the Government of Nicolás Maduro responded with hard military repression and bullets. The aftermath resulted in 43 people killed by the National Guard and the armed government-supported groups. In the meantime, Maduro kept dancing on TV aiming to distract people's attention, while innocent students were still being buried. This piece attempts to use experimental imagery to, denounce these behaviours, proving that power can corrupt even the greatest of idealists.
- Of Memory and Debris is a personal portrait of the director's grandfather (Opa, 94) and his wife's grandfather (Ababo, 81) who stayed back in Venezuela after most of their family emigrated due to the economic crisis and violence in the country. Opa lives with his wife Oma, who has been suffering from Alzheimer's for the past ten years, as he tries to comfort her in her final days. Everyday Ababo scrapes the sewers of his abandoned gold processing factory to accumulate gold remnants and afford a trip to Canada. His goal is to attend his granddaughter's wedding. An intimate character diptych, OF MEMORY AND DEBRIS tells the story of an unseen generation - the grandparents left behind by the largest exodus in Latin America's recent history.
