- Africa, U.S.A. follows Naomi, a young 25-year-old discovering herself, as she explores Igbos Landing, an area where Igbo descendants decided to rebel; the Harrington School, a school built African-Americans for their community (in St. Simons, GA); Oyotunji Kingdom- a real Yoruba Village in South Carolina; and, Africatown located in Mobile, Alabama which was founded by the last slaves illegally brought to the United States, She finds a piece of Africa in the United States and discovers black stories, cultures, and legends rich with empowerment -ultimately finding pieces of herself and her African identity in the United States.
- Stuck in Between follows a young lady named Bunmi Ogunleye (Pronounced Boo-me O-GOON-LAY-YEH). She was born and raised in the United States by West African parents and she is proud of her culture. Her boyfriend, Bayo (Pronounced BUY-YO) who was born and raised in Africa, questions her African identity while her best friend, Rainah "Ray" questions Bunmi's relationship with Bayo. Aside from her cultural identity in limbo, she aspires to be a writer. Because bills don't care about aspirations or dreams she has to keep her nonprofit job at Outreach Incorporated. At her job, she meets an array of characters...One being her boss, Koleen, a woman who wants only one seat at the table- for herself. She runs into Dontae- an IT guy at Outreach Incorporated, who makes her rethink her relationship with Bayo and her identity. Eventually Bunmi finds herself stuck in between her cultural identity, career and her relationships.
