- The legendary video to their classic horrorcore song called "Pure." The Troubleneck Bros. were a hardcore/bragging/battle/horrorcore rap group from either Harlem or the Bronx, New York City. They gained notoriety for their songs, which were graphic and violent, and some bloody. They were initially banned from MTV, and BET did not air their videos, claiming it wasn't wholesome, short of actually denouncing them. They later had airings on popular smash hit network UPN, and their affiliates, like flagship WWOR, and by then, there was more acceptance for this kind of rap.
