- Welcome to The Ferryman's world. Every human inevitably arrives there and must wander down memory lane to find the object they most cherished in their life on earth, summon The Ferryman, and pass over to the beyond. Some people, however, lived empty lives and don't have an object to give The Ferryman, but they know that he's above petty human concerns, and won't bother discerning whether the item he's gifted truly belongs to the person who's giving it to him. The Banker knows this, and so he makes plans to outwit The Artist, the other resident currently in The Ferryman's world. But there is something that The Banker doesn't know. Something he's overlooked... A story about greed, capitalism, and the consequences of our actions here on earth, the eerie tale of The Ferryman is more pertinent than ever in our world today.
- Stillness Rings is a short, poetic film, made from stills, that reflects on the second Lockdown. The film is a collaboration between award winning poet Jacqueline Saphra, Carl Hunter, Clare Heney and a collection of first time filmmakers from 21 Media and the Institute for Creative Enterprise. Carl took a photograph from the same place on Crosby beach in Britain every day and Jacqueline wrote a poem each day from her London home. In collaboration with the other filmmakers, cinematic vignettes that suggest our craving for distance during lock-down were created. Jacqueline is heard reading some of her poems over the film. The words and pictures take us on a journey where sound is used to re-imagine memory, creating sonic ghosts that serve to help us remember what we were missing.
- Beholder is an experimental short film created from rediscovered Super 8 footage. The film re-imagines the memories of people from the 60s and 70s and has been used with a piece of poetic narration to invite viewers to consider which moments they choose to prolong in the present. Beholder explores those active choices that someone once made to remember specific moments in their lives, and pays homage to all of these unnamed spectators: the people behind the cameras.
- Rise like a Phoenix is a short, poetic documentary about Eurovision Song Contest fans. The film hears the intimate testimonies of what the contest means to them. The interviews are played over their black and white moving portraits hinting at the voluptuousness of fashion photographer Irving Penn's Vogue, Photo shoots.
