Her ailing mother-in-law passes away - Shanicharni is unable to weep; Years later, Ganju gets killed after consuming holy water from a temple - Shanichari is unable to weep; When Budhwa get's married to a local prostitute, Mungri, who becomes pregnant, and then subsequently aborts the child - Shanichari is unable to weep; When Budhwa runs away from home, never to be seen again - Shanichari is unable to weep. Then a woman named Bhikni enters her life - she is called Rudaali - one who accepts money in turn for loud laments, weeping, & beating of the chest when a rich man passes away for a small fee, some milk, oil, and flour. Bhikni would like Shanichari to also be a Rudaali, but Shanichari eyes are always dry. When Bhikni is called for a day in another town, it is then Shanichari receives word that Ram Avtar is no more and she is called to be a Rudaali. Knowing fully well that she cannot shed tears, Shanichari does attend the funeral - and it is here that she will receive the news that may bring real tears to her eyes.
- After being left brokenhearted several times, wealthy, beautiful Deepa travels to City of Love Paris to live in her palatial house and meets Shyam (Sam), an Indian who is fascinated by her beauty. Sam always gets in Shekar's way and spoils his plans; after a few misunderstandings, Deepa and Sam fall in love. Jack warns Shekar to pay his debts soon or face the brunt but Shekar's plans go for naught when he discovers that Deepa loves Sam. To Jack's surprise, Deepa is a lookalike of Suzy, a cabaret dancer in his club. When Shekar meets Suzy, he plots with her to replace Suzy with Deepa to clear his debts. But on the very first instance Sam gets suspicious that she is not the real Deepa.

They are tragically separated. He subsequently comes across a portrait of Ratna, and shortly after he meets a gypsy, Jhumri (also Hema Malini) who looks exactly like Ratna. Soon Jhumri is also able to recollect her past life, and her love for Prakash. This does not auger well with Rita Malhotra (Asha Sachdev) who loves Suraj, and Appa (Prem Chopra), the son of the leader of the gypsies (Madan Puri), who will not stop at anything to make Jhumri his wife. Appa steals the portrait, and instigates the gypsies against Suraj, so that he can marry Jhumri, and perhaps separate the two lovers again in this birth also.

After that it is revealed that mamababu is also in this conspiracy. Ranjit as a imposter continues to live with them but The old lady Prataps mother Ranima finds that the Pratap is not real. When Ranjit and mamababu comes to know that the Ranima has known everything they kills her. Meanwhile Prem becomes a good lawyer and Pooza consults with him. Prem tells her to stay alert. At the time of killing Ranima Pooza see the incident but Ranjit calls police and Pooza is arrested for murdering Ranima. Police find the digital camera that Ranima used contained no video. Ranjit burns the tape by himself. For rescuing Pooza Prem comes and proves Ranjit guilty. Pooza becomes free from the charges and Prem and Pooza becomes reunited.
