It is here that Suryakanth will find out that Khalid is far more powerful and influential than he ever imagined - he will find his life being turned upside down; he will be forced to send his girlfriend, Shradha, to an undisclosed location - while he himself will be suspended again pending an inquiry into his conduct - while Khalid, with the help of aspiring Chief Minister, Devki Wardhan, will soon be given a clean chit by the C.B.I. themselves.

What Pardesi does not know is that Pagla is just an alias for Shamsher Singh, a dreaded bandit, wanted for several murders, who may be abusing Pagli's sixth sense, and pretending to be a madman to elude the police.

As she delves deeper and deeper into Brati's former life, she begins to understand her son's struggle, and decides to continue to further this. What Sujata does not know is her and Dibyanath's lives are in danger, and they well turn up dead and end up as numbered corpses in a police morgue.
