Darryl, tipped off by Natalie that Casey only pretended to have left while staying with their brute father, desperately races to track them down. Danny has indeed dragged the knave along for a robbery, without telling in advance where and how, and orders Casey to shoot the owner, Pete Simpson.

- Chris can't stand Spencer just staying in bed after Maddy cruelly dumped him, and unlike Harvey has the courage to literally drag him out and to the beach, but can't arouse any interest in other girls. Palmer receives child welfare case worker Brennan, who confirms his whole adoption procedure is back to scratch. He refuses even to consider resign himself to the precarious foster father status, even after Morgan's legal advice is to lay low, but dreads telling Jett. Dex refuses to reconsider his nursing training drop-out and hospital resignation, or to consult April, who refuses to see him anyway. The exes are tricked to a dinner, but April proves non-supportive, even scolds him changed so badly that they can't remain friends.
- At John's advice, Richard discusses the adoption project privately with Jett, who makes crystal clear he wants the palmer couple as acting parents at all cost and gets his way, Bozic even intends not to contact his long-neglected boy for a while. perfectly behaved Spencer becomes the meat i the sandwich trying to stop Maddie from dodging an assignment as jealous Rosie steals a kiss, also to spite in turn jealous-presumed Sasha.
