- DirectorChristopher NolanStarsLeonardo DiCaprioJoseph Gordon-LevittElliot PageA thief who steals corporate secrets through the use of dream-sharing technology is given the inverse task of planting an idea into the mind of a C.E.O., but his tragic past may doom the project and his team to disaster. The greatest movie of 2010. A movie so captivating, I have rarely seen before. Provement that you can make an excellent movie in action genre if you try. Doesn't lose it's appeal on continuous viewings and leave you with so many interpretations. I will certainly be watching this one a lot in the future.
Grade: 10 - DirectorDavid FincherStarsJesse EisenbergAndrew GarfieldJustin TimberlakeAs Harvard student Mark Zuckerberg creates the social networking site that would become known as Facebook, he is sued by the twins who claimed he stole their idea and by the co-founder who was later squeezed out of the business.I do think this movie is a bit overrated at the awards, but I will admit that I loved it's witty dialogue and storytelling and it really deserves the spot amongst the best movies of the year.
Grade: 9++ - DirectorDarren AronofskyStarsNatalie PortmanMila KunisVincent CasselNina is a talented but unstable ballerina on the verge of stardom. Pushed to the breaking point by her artistic director and a seductive rival, Nina's grip on reality slips, plunging her into a waking nightmare.Brilliantly made movie, about a dancer who breaks down while reaching for her goal. Arronofsky really is a master of making depressing and thought-provoking movies. And got to love Natalie in this as well.

- DirectorLee UnkrichStarsTom HanksTim AllenJoan CusackThe toys are mistakenly delivered to a day-care center instead of the attic right before Andy leaves for college, and it's up to Woody to convince the other toys that they weren't abandoned and to return home.I had a hard time deciding where to put this, because it is hard for me to really compare a great animation with a great movie. But it was a really interesting and touching movie and it tied up the greatest animation trilogy very well.
Grade: 8 - DirectorMick JacksonStarsClaire DanesJulia OrmondDavid StrathairnA biopic of Temple Grandin, an autistic woman who has become one of the top scientists in the humane livestock handling industry.
- DirectorDavid O. RussellStarsMark WahlbergChristian BaleAmy AdamsBased on the story of Micky Ward, a fledgling boxer who tries to escape the shadow of his more famous but troubled older boxing brother and get his own shot at greatness. This one was such a nice surprise for me. The Fighter is so well-told, greatly acted, so dramatic and has so much inspiration that it really reaches the heights of Raging Bull. A great story of how your family can be a big obstacle in your life, and you have to try to live through it and get to your goal without breaking the bond.
Grade: 8+ - DirectorTom HooperStarsColin FirthGeoffrey RushHelena Bonham CarterThe story of King George VI, his unexpected ascension to the throne of the British Empire in 1936, and the speech therapist who helped the unsure monarch overcome his stammer.A great movie about overcoming your fears and taking big decisions that you didn't expect. Wonderful performances and good chemistry between them.
Grade: 8 - DirectorMartin ScorseseStarsLeonardo DiCaprioEmily MortimerMark RuffaloTeddy Daniels and Chuck Aule, two US marshals, are sent to an asylum on a remote island in order to investigate the disappearance of a patient, where Teddy uncovers a shocking truth about the place.Underrated Scorsese movie that was really well made and acted. Although this isn't the typical Scorsese genre, he is good in it nevertheless.
Grade: 8- - DirectorLisa CholodenkoStarsAnnette BeningJulianne MooreMark RuffaloTwo children conceived by artificial insemination bring their biological father into their non-traditional family life.Another underrated or misunderstood movie. Interesting, funny and also serious in the same time. I felt really sorry for Paul in the end, he deserved better.

- DirectorDean DeBloisChris SandersStarsJay BaruchelGerard ButlerChristopher Mintz-PlasseA hapless young Viking who aspires to hunt dragons becomes the unlikely friend of a young dragon himself, and learns there may be more to the creatures than he assumed.Interesting animation about a young boy, who doesn't really fit in his community, but that doesn't stop him to become a great warrior. A decent competitor for Toy Story 3.

- DirectorEthan CoenJoel CoenStarsJeff BridgesMatt DamonHailee SteinfeldA stubborn teenager enlists the help of a tough U.S. Marshal to track down her father's murderer.Although this was a really decent western, but I wanted to get more out of Coens. And as I said - this year movie introduced so many cool movies, that is really a disgrace to leave such a decent movie tied at 10th place.
Grade: 7+ - DirectorApichatpong WeerasethakulStarsThanapat SaisaymarJenjira PongpasSakda KaewbuadeeDying of kidney disease, a man spends his last, somber days with family, including the ghost of his wife and a forest spirit who used to be his son, on a rural northern Thailand farm.
- DirectorBen AffleckStarsBen AffleckRebecca HallJon HammA proficient group of thieves rob a bank and hold an assistant manager hostage. Good acting by Franco and I do think it is a good movie, but not really amongst the best of the year.
