1. Arrested Development (2003– )

3 Seasons- 53 Seasons I know 3 seasons is a fair amount, but for the best comedy of all time, it deserved more
2. Freaks and Geeks (1999–2000)

1 Season- 18 Episodes Great reviews, a cast of stars-to-be, comedy god Judd Apatow's "Greatest Work", and: dead in 18 episodes. Now does that sound normal, or fair?
3. Firefly (2002–2003)

Five hundred years in the future, a renegade crew aboard a small spacecraft tries to survive as they travel the unknown parts of the galaxy and evade warring factions as well as authority agents out to get them.
1 Season- 14 Episodes This incredible space western is comparable with shows like Star Trek, and The X-Files, with an amazing plotline, and great cast, how'd this not survive?!
4. The Comeback (2005– )

An ex A-list celebrity attempts to rekindle the flame of her once prominent acting career with nothing but a camera crew and some determination.
1 Season- 13 Episodes This classic mockumentary following a typecast star's look for a comeback was stunningly entertaining and clever, comparable to other smart comedies Arrested Development, and 30 Rock, yet, it was canceled? I don't know why HBO would cancel it, but thank the Lord alighty it reruns on Sundance Channel!
5. Star Trek (1966–1969)

In the 23rd Century, Captain James T. Kirk and the crew of the USS Enterprise explore the galaxy and defend the United Federation of Planets.
3 Seasons- 79 Episodes This show spun off 4 spin-offs, and 11 Movies, and more too come, and if NBC knew this show would of changed the lives of millions of Americans, they never would of canceled it.
6. Better Off Ted (2009–2010)

In a science-based company, a manager tries to keep control of his scientists while being pressured by his shrewd boss.
2 Seasons- 26 Episodes The most original show on TV got low ratings because it was weird. Well who said weird was a bad thing. Most often it means it's more creative. And I wish more people would realize that.
7. Damages (2007–2012)

A law school graduate becomes the protégée of a successful high-stakes litigator.
3 Seasons- 39 Episodes, and Counting How could FX cancel this hard cutting drama that won Glenn Close an Emmy. Thank goodness the 101 Network picked it for 2 more seasons! FX's loss.
8. Rubicon (2010– )
45 min | Crime, Drama, Mystery
Will Travers is an analyst at a New York City-based federal intelligence agency who is thrown into a story where nothing is as it appears to be.
1 Season- 13 Episodes Conspiracy TV at best, and from the network that brought Mad Men, Breaking Bad, and The Walking Dead to the world, should have realized this show that made you think and care, was a little bit less as good as the other shows, but when we're dealing with shows from AMC, it means a whole lot to be a little bit less then the other shows.
9. Deadwood (2004–2006)

A show set in the late 1800s, revolving around the characters of Deadwood, South Dakota; a town of deep corruption and crime.
3 Seasons- 36 Episodes An amazing drama, just like all the other HBO dramas, and they don't even let it have a season to give it a finale. Besides canceling The Comeback, and creating Arliss, This is HBO's biggest mistake.
10. The Wire (2002–2008)

Baltimore drug scene, seen through the eyes of drug dealers and law enforcement.
5 Season- 60 Episodes Okay, it wasn't really canceled, it was ended, and 5 seasons is good for a show, but for TV's best drama, it's modest.
11. Andy Barker, P.I. (2007)
30 min | Comedy, Crime
An accountant moves into an office formerly owned by a private investigator and begins picking up side work as a private eye, after clients looking for the office's previous occupant inquire about his services.
1 Season- 6 Episodes NBC canceled this show, and It had to little viewers, well so did Cheers, and Seinfeld, and those shows were the number one watched programs at some time in their run. This Mystery-comedy was a first for TV, and was gold. This could of been the thing that brought back NBC, now we'll never know.
12. My So-Called Life (1994–1995)

A 15-year-old girl and her trials and tribulations of being a teenager and dealing with friends, guys, parents and school.
1 Season- 19 Episodes I hated this show, but I hate Teen-dramas about High schools, with gays, with an exception for one. Although this is not my exception, I still see this as a clever, and addictive show, that could of been a 90's Dallas. Poor teenage girls who agree with this show's title, will have to setttle with 90210, and Gossip Girl.
13. Twin Peaks (1990–1991)

An idiosyncratic FBI agent investigates the murder of a young woman in the even more idiosyncratic town of Twin Peaks.
2 Seasons- 30 Episodes Like Fringe, but unlike Fringe, it didn't start with good ratings, and drop to Low ratings, It had great ratings all the way through, until the last few wpisodes, that's no reason to end a great show which still had great ratings a few weeks ago. This show was a mix of bizzare sci-fi and fantasy, and real-time crazy-fun drama. It was ashame it was canceled.
14. Angel (1999–2004)

The vampire Angel, cursed with a soul, moves to Los Angeles and aids people with supernatural-related problems while questing for his own redemption.
5 seasons- 110 Episodes A good amount of seasons and episodes, but it should of at least had a final season, and I'll admit it was getting pretty bad, but it would of came back. it ruined, ansd ended one of the most popular franchises of all time.
15. Dollhouse (2009–2010)

A futuristic laboratory has erased the identities of lost young people, and now imprints them with the temporary identities they need to fulfill assignments for clients.
2 Seasons- 26 Episodes People keep canceling Joss Whendon's shows, and like them, this was gold. A creative idea, which Probable couldn't go on for more then 5 seasons unfortunatly, was canceled after only 2 seasons. A shame, because it was probable the best of Joss's shows, most creative, clever, and original series, ever.
16. Futurama (1999–2013)

Philip J. Fry, a pizza guy, is accidentally frozen in 1999 and thawed out New Year's Eve 2999.
5 Seasons- 85 Episodes, and 4 TV movies and counting It was canceled in 2003, even though it was pee your pants funny, so thank goodness for the 2008-2009 TV movies and the shows renewal after 7-years in cancel limbo. The people at Comedy Central are finally getting those guys who let Stewart host The Daily Show, and having correspondent Stephen Colbert have his own show, make some major desicion.
17. The Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien (2009–2010)

Opening monologues, sketches, celebrity interviews, and musical performances are commonly featured.
7 Months- 146 Episodes They canceled it for lower ratings, and brought back Jay Leno. It got an Emmy Nomination, not Leno, but you can't feel too bad, now he's got Conan. Still, The Tonight Show's ratings would be at it's highest if they kept O' Brien.
18. Undeclared (2001–2003)

1 Season- 17 Episodes. Having the same effect Judd Apatow last got for Freaks and Geeks, good reviews, but dead before a second season.
19. Flight of the Conchords (2007–2009)

Bret and Jemaine are Flight of the Conchords, a folk-rock band from New Zealand living in New York City in search of stardom.
2 Seasons- 22 Episodes 2 seasons!!!!!! Arliss had 7, and an unbelievably better show had 5 less seasons!!!!! A show that shows a comic view on a band trying to make it is terrificly cool, by having quirky characters. And I love the The actual band!!!!
20. Robbery Homicide Division (2002–2003)

1 Season, 13 Episodes No show was as daring, and dangerously contriversal as this. I wish it survived.

1 Seasons- 27 Episodes A cute, funny, and creative spin on a sci-fi western, and some of Bruce Campbell finest acting, it could of worked out,but no one seemed to want to watch it. Dumbies.
22. Life on Mars (2008–2009)

1 Season- 17 Episodes A clever sci-fi drama with great acting by all, but sci-fi is a tough genre to get people invested in. If only they had.
23. Terriers (2010)

1 Season- 10 Episodes A great show that was senetenced to death because of low rating. If only people would have watched the show more, it would of been an incredible series to watch.
24. Lone Star (2010)

A FOX series that was cancelled after the second episode that involves a con man who lives a double life. He's married to two different women in two different Texas towns.
could of been a big show, as was predicted by reviewests, and could of been a clear shot to win some major Emmys, but since no one watched it, it died in 2 episodes. What were they watching, I wonder, but I wonder what the show could of been more.

5 Seasons- 76 Episodes NBC canceled it after season 2, but when it saw how well it was doing renewed on The 101 Network, they brought it back to NBC for season 4 and 5 while also airing on The 101. This was a close call, because if it hadn't been picked up by The 101, it would of been lost forever.
