- CreatorEric KripkeStarsJared PadaleckiJensen AcklesJim BeaverTwo brothers follow their father's footsteps as hunters, fighting evil supernatural beings of many kinds, including monsters, demons, and gods that roam the earth.
- CreatorJulie PlecKevin WilliamsonStarsNina DobrevPaul WesleyIan SomerhalderThe lives, loves, dangers and disasters in the town, Mystic Falls, Virginia. Creatures of unspeakable horror lurk beneath this town as a teenage girl is suddenly torn between two vampire brothers.I blame the Twilight movie series for starting this overdone and overhyped trend of shows and movies involving vampires.
- CreatorAlan BallStarsAnna PaquinStephen MoyerSam TrammellTelepathic waitress Sookie Stackhouse encounters a strange new supernatural world when she meets the mysterious Bill Compton, a southern Louisiana gentleman and vampire.Yet another show that capitalizes on the Vampire trend. And yes, I'm very well aware that this series was based on a series of mystery novels involving vampires.
- CreatorSteven S. DeKnightStarsAndy WhitfieldLucy LawlessManu BennettThe life of Spartacus, the gladiator who lead a rebellion against the Romans. From his time as an ally of the Romans, to his betrayal and becoming a gladiator, to the rebellion he leads and its ultimate outcome.I like the Sword and Sandal films popular in the 1950s-late '60s. The current generation of Sword and Sandal films(and shows) suck ass.
- CreatorAlfred GoughMiles MillarStarsTom WellingMichael RosenbaumAllison MackA young Clark Kent struggles to find his place in the world as he learns to harness his alien powers for good and deals with the typical troubles of teenage life in Smallville, Kansas.A show that wore out its welcome after the 5th or 6th season, I am extremely thankful that it's coming to an end.
- An in-depth look at life inside the maternity ward at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio.Parents, if you find it hard to talk to your teen about sex or don't watch MTV's "16 & Pregnant" or "Teen Mom", then this show is definitely something that could very well be a potent form of birth control.
In my case, if the trailer I saw on TV for this show is any indication, all this show is going to do is turn me into an even worse control-freak. However, I already planned to not allow ANY cameras to be used for until after I'm cleaned up, changed, and put into a room; the same goes for the baby, no pictures for until he or she is cleaned up and swaddled. No husband of mine is going to take a picture of the baby as he or she has been put in the bassinet and is about to be rolled into the neonatal unit of the hospital. If so, then he's going to purchase a new iphone AND deal with a verbal tongue lashing from me if he's dumb enough to drop an iphone on the baby's chest. I'll probably be too tired to do the latter, but the former, yeah, I'll be pissed off enough to do that. - CreatorSimon FullerStarsRyan SeacrestMark ThompsonRandy JacksonTwelve American finalists (six men and six women) compete in a singing contest.I love the new hosts, but I haven't even watched an entire season of this show in over 5 years. After that, I've only tuned into the auditions.
- CreatorJohn de MolStarsCarson DalyBlake SheltonAdam LevineFour famous musicians search for the best voices in America and will mentor these singers to become artists. America will decide which singer will be worthy of the grand prize.Yeah, I'm definitely NOT tuning into THIS show. What turned me off was this terribly whitewashed version of "American Boy" by Estelle ft. Kanye West. I seriously hope THAT contestant doesn't win, if she does, then we're doomed.
I love Christina and Cee-lo though, but seriously any show that features a horrific rendition to a song I liked or sounded better by the original singer is not going to make me want to tune in. Besides, the whole premise of finding talent through a tv show is contrived at best. Especially when you're talking about an industry that has, over the last decade of course, churned out people who may be able to sing, but it's without any true soul and emotion.
