Season Review-Justified Season 3

Overall: 9-amazing This was perhaps the best season of Justified yet, and that's no small feat as Margo Martindale was brilliant as Mags last year. Neal McDonough, I believe, was just as brilliant. He was calm, smooth, and crazy at the same time and was no doubt a scene stealer. I loved his descent into madness, and the way he went out was brilliant. Speaking of that, Limehouse was also another great character. He brought a certain intensity to the criminal proceedings and hopefully we see more of him next season. As for Boyd, his storyline was certainly fun to watch. Raylan was as well (Timothy Olyphant really deserves more recognition-the other characters are fantastic, but he carries the show), and the dialogue, acting, and on screen chemistry was as good as ever. It was heartbreaking to see Arlo protect Boyd and take the fall for everything in the finale, but it was a fantastic end to a fantastic episode to a fantastic season of one of TV's most underrated shows. P.S. Jere Burns also did great work as Wynn Duffy this season-I can't wait to see how everything works out with him, Limehouse, and Tonin (the always awesome Adam Arkin).
