- DirectorRichard LinklaterStarsJason LondonWiley WigginsMatthew McConaugheyThe adventures of high school and junior high students on the last day of school in May 1976.I just saw this one hour ago or so, and I loved it. I absolutely love movie from, or at least that reflects the 70's and 80's. Advantageously with all the high school stuff in it. Teenage movies where they party and smoke weed. Those movies are almost always so great. Haha.
- DirectorNigel ColeStarsAshton KutcherAmanda PeetTaryn ManningUnacquainted Emily and Oliver join the mile-high club together on the way from LAX to NYC--end of story. Except that they keep meeting constantly over the next seven years..Ok, the thing about that this movie was sooo much better than I expected!? I just saw it because I had nothing else to do. Don't really know what to say about it, it was just a swell love film. Yeah. That's that.
- DirectorRupert SandersStarsKristen StewartChris HemsworthCharlize TheronIn a twist to the fairy tale, the Huntsman ordered to take Snow White into the woods to be killed winds up becoming her protector and mentor in a quest to vanquish the Evil Queen.Saw this one in the movie theatre. And it was sooooooo much better than I thought it would be. Kirsten was SO *beep* beautiful in that dark dark hair, and of course Charlize was breathtaking as well. In fact, almost everybody in this whole production was extremely good looking. Like Chris Hemsworth (gorg) and Sam Clafin. Yepp, love'd 'em all.
- DirectorJohn WatersStarsJohnny DeppRicki LakeAmy LocaneIn 1950s Baltimore, a bad boy with a heart of gold wins the love of a good girl, whose boyfriend sets out for revenge. This was not at al as I expected it to be. It was so... unserious. But in a funny was, haha. It was just so excessive, in every way. I do not think I will watch it again, but yeah. It was on my watchlist, so. And now I have seen it. And that's that. I absolutely LOVE young Johnny Depp though - current crush! I'm gonna get in a Johnny Depp-period probably. RIGHT now, it's Leo.
- DirectorGreg MottolaStarsJesse EisenbergKristen StewartRyan ReynoldsIn the summer of 1987, a college graduate takes a 'nowhere' job at his local amusement park, only to find it's the perfect course to get him prepared for the real world.Jesse Eisenberg, Kristen Stewart and Ryan Reynolds! Great to see them in this movie, although there is something about Kristen that I really do not enjoy. Something about how she always keeps her hand fisted. Anyways, this film was a lot better than expected. Super watchable. Ryan is so very attractive (therefore, I will stare at him).
- DirectorHoward DeutchStarsMolly RingwaldJon CryerHarry Dean StantonA poor girl must choose between the affections of dating her childhood sweetheart or a rich but sensitive playboy.Yet another John Hughes film I watched lately. With Jon Cryer! What a surprise. And the guy who plays that babbling person who becomes boss in The Office. And Molly Ringwald. She's in like, most of John Hughes films. Haha. This was one of the most watchable ones, actually. It was pretty good, really!
- DirectorCameron CroweStarsJohn CusackIone SkyeJohn MahoneyA noble underachiever and a beautiful valedictorian fall in love the summer before she goes off to college.Yet another 80's movie. I love the feeling of 'em and this one was actually really good. I have not much to say about it really. This is another of them movies that Emma Stone talks about in Easy A. So yes, I just had to watch it. I have seen like three of them now, is that all of them? hmm. Anyways, this was absolutely watchable.
- DirectorTodd HaynesStarsChristian BaleCate BlanchettHeath LedgerRuminations on the life of Bob Dylan, where six characters embody a different aspect of the musician's life and work.I have had this on my watchlist forever! But now, yesterday or something, I finally watched it. And it was - disappointing. It's now that it was bad, not at all. It's very well produced. It's just that, I think it is too artistic, and I didn't really understand the plot! It's sad really, that I did not get it, cuz i bet it would be a great film if I did. But I just did not see what was going on and stuff. I still love Heath Ledger and Bob Dyan's music though. Maybe I'll watch this again in a few years and hopefully I can understand the pattern of the plot better then.
- DirectorMichael LehmannStarsWinona RyderChristian SlaterShannen DohertyAt Westerburg High where cliques rule, jocks dominate and all the popular girls are named Heather, it's going to take a Veronica and mysterious new kid to give teen angst a body count.Oh my god this was so totally weird. And not even in a good way.
But everybody have this film on their like "Best Teenage movies"-lists. Is there something I don't understand? This was, thumbs down. - DirectorAmy HeckerlingStarsSean PennJennifer Jason LeighJudge ReinholdA group of Southern California high school students are enjoying their most important subjects: sex, drugs and rock n' roll. The only thing I'm watching right now is movies from the 70's and 80's. Saw this yesterday, and it was.. well, watchable. It's fun to see Sean Penn, since he had directed (and written) one of my favorite movies. He is so ugly in this film though!! He looks a lot better now. Haha. Old.
- DirectorEdgar WrightStarsMichael CeraMary Elizabeth WinsteadKieran CulkinIn a magically realistic version of Toronto, a young man must defeat his new girlfriend's seven evil exes one by one in order to win her heart.I just saw some snapshots from this production and remembered how much I like it. It is really bad actually. Very dorky and everything, so I just can't believe how much I like it. I always laugh so hard when I watch it. And this film has made me almost always go "this is, this is, this is....boring, dele-ete". And I have like the greatest crush on Michael Cera.
- DirectorSteve RashStarsPatrick DempseyAmanda PetersonCourtney GainsAn outcast secretly pays the most popular girl in school one thousand dollars to pretend to be his girlfriend for a month. This one is cool. I love 80's movies. And Ronald gets so cool and handsome when he is being "the cool guy". Love the ending with the lawn mower.
- DirectorAndrea ArnoldStarsKaya ScodelarioJames HowsonSolomon GlaveA poor boy of unknown origins is rescued from poverty and taken in by the Earnshaw family where he develops an intense relationship with his young foster sister, Cathy. This is crap. Not crap actually, but it's weird. Not at all as I thought it would be (like the one from 2009). I only watched this because I was exited to see Kaya Scodelario in something else than Skins. She was just as depressing (I love skins though)
- StarsTom HardyCharlotte RileyAndrew LincolnFoundling Heathcliff is raised by the wealthy Earnshaws in Yorkshire but in later life launches a vendetta against the family.I LOVE it. We saw this movie in english class and I always love the movies we watch there, while everybody else hates them. We did not have time to see the whole film at one time in class, so I went home and downloaded it. I like these kinds of movies.
- DirectorNick CassavetesStarsGena RowlandsJames GarnerRachel McAdamsAn elderly man reads to a woman with dementia the story of two young lovers whose romance is threatened by the difference in their respective social classes.Don't know what to say about this. It has been one of my favorite love stories since I was like... ten. It's simply great.
- DirectorJohn HamburgStarsPaul RuddJason SegelRashida JonesFriendless Peter Klaven goes on a series of man-dates to find a Best Man for his wedding. But, when his insta-bond with his new B.F.F. puts a strain on his relationship with his fiancée, can the trio learn to live happily ever after?I have a predilection of Paul Rudd from he being Phoebe's husband Mike (or Crap-Bag) in FRIENDS, and Jason Segel from Marshal in HIMYM. I also like Rahida Jones from the Office (saw this movie before I started watching office though). This movie is really entertaining and funny! Very watchable.
- DirectorJohn HughesStarsEmilio EstevezJudd NelsonMolly RingwaldFive high school students meet in Saturday detention and discover how they have a great deal more in common than they thought. This is an 8'0's-classic so I felt like I had to see it! It was not as good as I might have thought it would be. But I liked... the ending. Haha. It's entertaining.
- DirectorCéline SciammaStarsZoé HéranMalonn LévanaJeanne DissonA family moves into a new neighborhood, and a 10-year-old named Laure deliberately presents as a boy named Mikhael to the neighborhood children.Watched this with a bunch of my friends, they didn't like it. I actually had to nag a bit to persuade them that we should really check this movie out.
And I liked it (I think I'm a little bit more deep and stuff than they are). I like french movies and this story is fascinating. - DirectorCatherine HardwickeStarsHeath LedgerEmile HirschVictor RasukThe film follows the surf and skateboarding trends that originated in Venice, California during the 1970s.LOVE! I like coolness (and Emile Hirsch). And I like skateboarding and movies that reflects real stories from another time. This gets a lot of points in my mind. John Robinson is like really amazing in this as well!
- DirectorDan HarrisStarsSigourney WeaverJeff DanielsEmile HirschMembers of a dysfunctional family react differently to the suicide of the eldest son.EMILE! OK, he is like the love of my life. No idea what it is about him but. I simply love him, ok!? (and I've learned - it is easy to love secretly from a distance!).
So, about this film. I really like it. Watched it two nights in a row. And I think I'm gonna keep watch it! I didn't expect much from it, but it was great! - DirectorMichael BurkeStarsEmile HirschRichard JenkinsTom GuiryThe film follows the story of Duncan, a fourteen-year-old misfit farm boy trying to fill the void and alleviate the numbness left by his mother's passing. Unable to let her go quite yet, Duncan mimics his dead mother. He talks in her voice at the dinner table and wears her fur coat to bed. Edgar, Duncan's distant sixty-year-old father, doesn't understand the strange manifestations of his son's mourning. Why can't Duncan grieve like a normal person? Macho mate Perry Foley, who has it physically even harder on his dad's farm, usually comforts Duncan and defends his 'wimpiness' to their cocky ruffian mates Travis, Scotty and Brent. But although clearly attracted to gentle Duncan himself, the socially unacceptable suggestion of 'sissy' homosexuality makes Perry over-react and turn on his friend.OK, I love Emile. He is by far the one actor whom I've been the most in love with. But this movie is just weird. Emile is not always starring in the most swell films. This is just weird. I tend to like B-movies. But this is not even B. But I still love you EMILE!!!
- DirectorMark WatersStarsLindsay LohanJonathan BennettRachel McAdamsCady Heron is a hit with The Plastics, the A-list girl clique at her new school, until she makes the mistake of falling for Aaron Samuels, the ex-boyfriend of alpha Plastic Regina George.Four for you Glenn Coco, you go Glenn Coco.
And non for Gretchen

On wednesdays we wear pink!
This is a classic. - DirectorGary RossStarsJennifer LawrenceJosh HutchersonLiam HemsworthKatniss Everdeen voluntarily takes her younger sister's place in the Hunger Games: a televised competition in which two teenagers from each of the twelve Districts of Panem are chosen at random to fight to the death. This move is AMAZING. Loved it. I hadn't read the book when I watched this on the movie theater (I'm gonna read 'em this summer for sure!). But this is a super-duper good move. Makes it embarrassing to have been such a twilight fan (urgh)(Well, ok, twilight is still good, but..). Now - i'm a hunger gamer! Can't wait to read the book series and for the follow up movies to come.
Update!: It's the end of August now and the first week of school is over, and I've read the hunger gamer series about five times this past summer. Honestly like the best books, on so many levels, that I've read in my entire life. And now afterwards, the movie version has to get just a tint of a lower grade than before, just because there was some stuff that was a bit different from the book, that really they did not have a reason for making it different. But still: one of the greatest movies I've seen! - DirectorTate TaylorStarsViola DavisEmma StoneOctavia SpencerAn aspiring author during the civil rights movement of the 1960s decides to write a book detailing the African American maids' point of view on the white families for which they work, and the hardships they go through on a daily basis.I love this. For one thing, I like the clothing and language and everything like that. And second, the story is both amazing and horrifying. They make it so pure. And there is just something about Emma Stone..
- CreatorGreg DanielsRicky GervaisStephen MerchantStarsSteve CarellJenna FischerJohn KrasinskiA mockumentary on a group of typical office workers, where the workday consists of ego clashes, inappropriate behavior, tedium and romance. One of the best series. Watch again!!!
- DirectorGina Prince-BythewoodStarsDakota FanningJennifer HudsonQueen LatifahIn 1964, a teenage girl in search of the truth about her mother runs away to a small town in South Carolina and finds a family of independent women who can connect her to her past.Well, i really like Dakota Fanning. And this movie is surprisingly good. I've watched it a couple of times.
- DirectorSeth GordonStarsJason BatemanCharlie DayJason SudeikisThree friends conspire to murder their awful bosses when they realize they are standing in the way of their happiness.Slept through most of it though. Should probably re-watch it.
- DirectorTom FordStarsColin FirthJulianne MooreMatthew GoodeAn English professor, one year after the sudden death of his boyfriend, is unable to cope with his typical days in 1960s Los Angeles. It has been a while since I saw this. And I have no earlier description from it. But OK. I tend to like Collin Firth. And I obviously like Nicholas Hoult from Skins. And Jon Kortajarena is so handsome - I get stomach aces. Anyways, the movie all in all. Was pretty boring.... As I remember it.
- DirectorJohn HughesStarsMolly RingwaldAnthony Michael HallJustin HenryA girl's "sweet" sixteenth birthday is anything but special: her family forgets about it, and she suffers from every embarrassment possible.I was in a period then I only watched 80's movies when I was this. And, as most of 'em is, it was watchable. Nothing revolutionary, nothing outstanding. But a movie you can just watch. It's not hard to get or anything, you don't have to make much effort. I like those films, haha.
- DirectorAnton CorbijnStarsSam RileySamantha MortonCraig ParkinsonA profile of Ian Curtis, the enigmatic singer of Joy Division whose personal, professional, and romantic troubles led him to die by suicide at the age of 23.We saw this at our Photography class in school. I was one of the very few people who actually watched it - every body else thought it was BORING. I did not. I liked it, and right now I feel like I really must watch it again! I will!
- DirectorLuke GreenfieldStarsEmile HirschNicholas DownsElisha CuthbertA teenager's dreams come true when a former porn star moves in next door and they fall in love.Well, I obviously like it because Emile Hirsch is starring. It was surprisingly good. Actually. I don't have much to say about it. But yeah, Emile for president?
- DirectorRichard AyoadeStarsCraig RobertsSally HawkinsPaddy Considine15-year-old Oliver Tate has two objectives: to lose his virginity before his next birthday, and to extinguish the flame between his mother and an ex-lover who has resurfaced in her life. This is what I though before I saw this: "OK, this is a movie that I will probably adore. It seems weird - I like weird movies. This will be great!".
This is what I though after I'd seen it: "OK, not at all as I thought. Disappointed. To weird and with a to boring content to function". OK that was a bit harsh. It wasn't THAAT bad- It was just not as good as I expected it to be. THought it would be a typical Amanda movie. But is was not. - DirectorAndreas ÖhmanStarsBill SkarsgårdMartin WallströmCecilia ForssA younger brother with Aspergers syndrome helps his older brother find a girlfriend.Swedish film at it's best. This is really good, very watchable. I haven't seen it for a while now, but now I really feel like watching it! Åh! OK, this is great!
- DirectorPhyllida LloydStarsMeryl StreepPierce BrosnanAmanda SeyfriedThe story of a bride-to-be trying to find her real father told using hit songs by the popular 1970s group ABBA.This is just.. fun to watch occasionally.
- DirectorLasse HallströmStarsChanning TatumAmanda SeyfriedRichard JenkinsA romantic drama about a soldier who falls for a conservative college student while he's home on leave. One of those movies were you just can't help but crying.
- DirectorMark RomanekStarsKeira KnightleyCarey MulliganAndrew GarfieldThe lives of three friends, from their early school days into young adulthood, when the reality of the world they live in comes knocking. No one else likes this! :( I do. I think it's a really, really special and fascinating story. I like it. And I like the actors. The book is amazing.
- DirectorAmy HeckerlingStarsAlicia SilverstoneStacey DashBrittany MurphyShallow, rich and socially successful Cher is at the top of her Beverly Hills high school's pecking scale. Seeing herself as a matchmaker, Cher first coaxes two teachers into dating each other. This is just such a chick flick. I do not remember a whole lot from it. It's been a while. But I think it's OK. A B-production. I tend to like B-films since they are often so easy to watch without a huge amount of effort (they sounds so lazy!!). Haha.
- DirectorRobert ZemeckisStarsMichael J. FoxChristopher LloydLea ThompsonMarty McFly, a 17-year-old high school student, is accidentally sent 30 years into the past in a time-traveling DeLorean invented by his close friend, the maverick scientist Doc Brown.I love these movies!!
- DirectorRobert ZemeckisStarsMichael J. FoxChristopher LloydLea ThompsonAfter visiting 2015, Marty McFly must repeat his visit to 1955 to prevent disastrous changes to 1985...without interfering with his first trip.I love these movies!!
- DirectorRobert ZemeckisStarsMichael J. FoxChristopher LloydMary SteenburgenStranded in 1955, Marty McFly learns about the death of Doc Brown in 1885 and must travel back in time to save him. With no fuel readily available for the DeLorean, the two must figure how to escape the Old West before Emmett is murdered.I love these movies!!
- DirectorTodd PhillipsStarsZach GalifianakisBradley CooperJustin BarthaThree buddies wake up from a bachelor party in Las Vegas, with no memory of the previous night and the bachelor missing. They make their way around the city in order to find their friend before his wedding.Haha, this is fun and that's that. Do not have much else to say.
- DirectorTodd PhillipsStarsBradley CooperZach GalifianakisEd HelmsTwo years after the bachelor party in Las Vegas, Phil, Stu, Alan, and Doug jet to Thailand for Stu's wedding. Stu's plan for a subdued pre-wedding brunch, however, goes seriously awry.Same. Still funny.
- DirectorDavid Gordon GreenStarsSeth RogenJames FrancoGary ColeA process server and his marijuana dealer wind up on the run from hitmen and a corrupt police officer after he witnesses his dealer's boss murder a competitor while trying to serve papers on him.Haha, this movie was fun. I don't think I was super into it as I watched it, did not pay the hugest amount of attention. But it was really funny, I think. And I really like James Franco.
- DirectorCatherine HardwickeStarsAmanda SeyfriedLukas HaasGary OldmanSet in a medieval village that is haunted by a werewolf, a young girl falls for an orphaned woodcutter, much to her family's displeasure. This was not thaaaaat good. Watchable. But not great.
- DirectorFrancis LawrenceStarsRobert PattinsonReese WitherspoonChristoph WaltzJacob takes a job as an animal caretaker in a traveling circus. There he meets Marlena, a beautiful circus performer. Their shared compassion for a special elephant Rosie leads to love, but Marlena's cruel husband stands in their way.Not a favorite movie. But really good. Cried at the end.
- CreatorStephanie SavageJosh SchwartzStarsBlake LivelyLeighton MeesterPenn BadgleyPrivileged teens living on the Upper East Side of New York can hide no secret from the ruthless blogger who is always watching.I don't watch this anymore. But in the beginning, this was so good!! I LOVE and adore and I am extremely jealous at Blair Waldorf. I hate Serena, and I do not even like Blake Lively at all. LOVE Ed Westwick but I think he as Chuck talks weird. I mean com'on man.
- DirectorBlake EdwardsStarsAudrey HepburnGeorge PeppardPatricia NealA young New York socialite becomes interested in a young man who has moved into her apartment building, but her past threatens to get in the way.A classic so I felt like I had to see it. It was good actually. And Audrey Hepburn as Holly is really inspiring!
Hi there, it's much later. Like a year, maybe two. I dressed up as Audrey Hepburn at a graduation party last year. It was great! - DirectorDavid SchwimmerStarsClive OwenCatherine KeenerLiana LiberatoA teenage girl is targeted by an online sexual predator.I do not remember a whole lot from this production. David Schwimmer is the director. Oh, now I remember. This was really fascinating. The plot is really serious and with a great cause.
- DirectorEli CraigStarsTyler LabineAlan TudykKatrina BowdenAffable hillbillies Tucker and Dale are on vacation at their dilapidated mountain cabin when they are mistaken for murderers by a group of preppy college students.Haha, it's GREAT. MUST watch again soon. It was just so much fun. And extreme.
- DirectorWoody AllenStarsWoody AllenDiane KeatonTony RobertsAlvy Singer, a divorced Jewish comedian, reflects on his relationship with ex-lover Annie Hall, an aspiring nightclub singer, which ended abruptly just like his previous marriages.A classic so I felt like I had to watch it. Plus Oskar Linnros sings about "If only you were just a bit more like Annie Hall" in a song that is called just that; Annie Hall. This is a Woody Allen production, and they are very special. But it was like OK. I'm sorry I can't say anything more!
- DirectorMiguel ArtetaStarsMichael CeraPortia DoubledayJean SmartWhile his trailer trash parents teeter on the edge of divorce, Nick Twisp sets his sights on dream girl Sheeni Saunders, hoping that she'll be the one to take away his virginity.Haha, this is weird! But again, Michael Cera! And I do like weird movies. This was fun. I like the "bad" version of him. This is just fun.
- DirectorLuc BessonStarsJean RenoGary OldmanNatalie Portman12-year-old Mathilda is reluctantly taken in by Léon, a professional assassin, after her family is murdered. An unusual relationship forms as she becomes his protégée and learns the assassin's trade.I saw this a couple of times when I was little so I just remember parts from it, and I feel like I really have to re-watch it. I think it's great. So I've heard anyways.
- DirectorCarlos SaldanhaStarsJesse EisenbergAnne HathawayGeorge LopezWhen Blu, a domesticated macaw from small-town Minnesota, meets the fiercely independent Jewel, he takes off on an adventure to Rio de Janeiro with the bird of his dreams.Haha, saw this in my friend's dad's house in Stockholm with a couple of my best mates. We had so much fun watching this. We saw it dubbed into Swedish so we couldn't hear Johnny Depp though :( But Kodjo Akolor had the voice of the dog in the Swedish version so it was OK for me! :)
This was a really funny film! We laughed a whole lot. - DirectorLone ScherfigStarsAnne HathawayJim SturgessPatricia ClarksonAfter spending the night together on the eve of their college graduation, Dexter and Emma are shown each year on the same date to see where they are in their lives. They are sometimes together, and sometimes not.Saw this at the movie theatre after have wanted to see it for a loooong time. But it was only good. Not GREAT!! Watchable - sure. But that's that.
Hi, this is later. My friend love this film, and the book, so I might have to watch it again! Maybe right now even! Sure, why the hell not? - DirectorTim BurtonStarsMia WasikowskaJohnny DeppHelena Bonham CarterNineteen-year-old Alice returns to the magical world from her childhood adventure, where she reunites with her old friends and learns of her true destiny: to end the Red Queen's reign of terror.I do not remember much from this, saw it in the movie theatre when it opened, with my mother. Guess I really have to watch it again!!! But Alice is in itself, a classic. I mean I always played Alice in Wonderland on my GameBoy as a kid. And I mean, I remember this film to have reflected the original story pretty impressively.
- DirectorGary WinickStarsKate HudsonAnne HathawayCandice BergenTwo best friends become rivals when they schedule their respective weddings on the same day.Oh, I remember I watched this with my, at that time, best friend one summer night.. years ago. It was outside her house in the countryside, in a hammock with a lot of pillows and blankets. It was so cozy, but we got a lot of mosquito bites.
Chick flick. Kinda. I remember the blonde's dress to be pretty awesome. This film was, you know, nothing outstanding or revolutionary. But watchable. - DirectorLuke GreenfieldStarsGinnifer GoodwinKate HudsonColin EgglesfieldFriendships are tested and secrets come to the surface when terminally single Rachel falls for Dex, her best friend Darcy's fiancé.This one I saw one summer at the movie theatre. It was one of those basic movies. Nothing outstanding really! Just a typical movie. Just that. But I like John Krasinski from The Office.
- DirectorJason ReitmanStarsCharlize TheronPatrick WilsonPatton OswaltSoon after her divorce, a fiction writer returns to her home in small-town Minnesota, looking to rekindle a romance with her ex-boyfriend who is now happily married and has a newborn daughter.I only saw this (no not only, If I knew about it I probably would have seen it anyways) because the writer of Juno wrote the manuscript for this film too. This was obviously not as good as Juno. But I like kinda Charlize Theron, and this movie was a bit more outstanding than the ones I've just written about. Not revolutionary though, they seldom are. But, well. This movie is pretty odd. And not as happy-ending-lalala as most movies are. But bla bla. I don't know. This was OK. OK?
- DirectorBurr SteersStarsZac EfronKim BasingerCharlie TahanAfter Charlie survives a car crash that kills his younger brother, he is given the gift of seeing the spirits of his brother and others who he has lost, and must use his powers to save the woman he loves from impending disaster. This movie was surprisingly good. I cried within five minutes into the movie. Yeah, it's one of those stories.
- DirectorRoy AnderssonStarsAnn-Sofie KylinRolf SohlmanAnita LindblomTwo teenagers fall in love over the summer, in spite of cynical and disapproving adults who dismiss their relationship as being nothing but young love.A Swedish love story. En kärlekshistoria. En kärleks historia. I've watched this a couple of times and, there's just something that gets to me. Maybe it is the 70's. Maybe it's Stockholm and the way people did talk back then. There's this one clip on youtube that i've marked as favorite. It's from.. what? The 60's? I think it is from a news programe or something. In Stockholm, a reporter interviews a bunch of kids and youth's and they are talking about jeans and what to wear and not to wear, and brands and stuff. I am OBSESSED with the way they're speaking. They use "va" in the ending of sentences and stuff, it sounds SOOO.... cosy? Or something. Yeah, they do not speak exactly like that in this film, but it is obviously different from how we talk now and I think that is fascinating.
- DirectorGus Van SantStarsSean PennJosh BrolinEmile HirschThe story of American gay activist Harvey Milk, who fought for gay rights and was elected as California's first openly gay official.I can't write al these comments right now, I'm just gonna state the obvious:
Emile Hirsch!!!!!!! <3<3<3 :
In this movie:<3<3<3<3<3<3<3<3
That's everything worth mention right now. - DirectorAng LeeStarsDemetri MartinHenry GoodmanEdward HibbertA man working at his parents' motel in the Catskills inadvertently sets in motion the generation-defining concert in the summer of 1969.I feel like I've said this a million times, but: I watched this because of Emile Hirsch.
Yep.
It's kind of a nice movie though. Was it based on the real events of Woodstock? I don't know, but probably so. The thing is, I thought I would adore this movie, 'cuz it has some really good qualities. But it's only... fine. I don't know what it is that doesn't make it epic. But yeah. - DirectorBill CondonStarsBeyoncéJamie FoxxEddie MurphyA trio of black female soul singers cross over to the pop charts in the early 1960s, facing their own personal struggles along the way. This is not a film that you watch over and over. I've watched this a couple of times, with a few years between the two times. And the second... was not as good. It feels like this movie is 2000 hours long...
