Director: Richard Linklater | Stars: Jason London, Wiley Wiggins, Matthew McConaughey, Rory Cochrane

Votes: 158,556 | Gross: $7.99M

I just saw this one hour ago or so, and I loved it. I absolutely love movie from, or at least that reflects the 70's and 80's. Advantageously with all the high school stuff in it. Teenage movies where they party and smoke weed. Those movies are almost always so great. Haha.

2. A Lot Like Love (2005)

Votes: 66,282 | Gross: $21.84M

Ok, the thing about that this movie was sooo much better than I expected!? I just saw it because I had nothing else to do. Don't really know what to say about it, it was just a swell love film. Yeah. That's that.

3. Snow White and the Huntsman (2012)

Votes: 267,158 | Gross: $155.33M

Saw this one in the movie theatre. And it was sooooooo much better than I thought it would be. Kirsten was SO *beep* beautiful in that dark dark hair, and of course Charlize was breathtaking as well. In fact, almost everybody in this whole production was extremely good looking. Like Chris Hemsworth (gorg) and Sam Clafin. Yepp, love'd 'em all.

4. Cry-Baby (1990)

63 Metascore

Director: John Waters | Stars: Johnny Depp, Ricki Lake, Amy Locane, Susan Tyrrell

Votes: 53,112 | Gross: $8.27M

This was not at al as I expected it to be. It was so... unserious. But in a funny was, haha. It was just so excessive, in every way. I do not think I will watch it again, but yeah. It was on my watchlist, so. And now I have seen it. And that's that. I absolutely LOVE young Johnny Depp though - current crush! I'm gonna get in a Johnny Depp-period probably. RIGHT now, it's Leo.

5. Adventureland (2009)

R | 107 min | Comedy, Drama, Romance

76 Metascore

In the summer of 1987, a college graduate takes a 'nowhere' job at his local amusement park, only to find it's the perfect course to get him prepared for the real world.

Director: Greg Mottola | Stars: Jesse Eisenberg, Kristen Stewart, Ryan Reynolds, Martin Starr

Votes: 150,000 | Gross: $16.03M

Jesse Eisenberg, Kristen Stewart and Ryan Reynolds! Great to see them in this movie, although there is something about Kristen that I really do not enjoy. Something about how she always keeps her hand fisted. Anyways, this film was a lot better than expected. Super watchable. Ryan is so very attractive (therefore, I will stare at him).

6. Pretty in Pink (1986)

PG-13 | 97 min | Comedy, Drama, Romance

57 Metascore

A poor girl must choose between the affections of dating her childhood sweetheart or a rich but sensitive playboy.

Director: Howard Deutch | Stars: Molly Ringwald, Jon Cryer, Harry Dean Stanton, Annie Potts

Votes: 71,790 | Gross: $40.47M

Yet another John Hughes film I watched lately. With Jon Cryer! What a surprise. And the guy who plays that babbling person who becomes boss in The Office. And Molly Ringwald. She's in like, most of John Hughes films. Haha. This was one of the most watchable ones, actually. It was pretty good, really!

7. Say Anything... (1989)

85 Metascore

A noble underachiever and a beautiful valedictorian fall in love the summer before she goes off to college.

Director: Cameron Crowe | Stars: John Cusack, Ione Skye, John Mahoney, Lili Taylor

Votes: 80,398 | Gross: $20.78M

Yet another 80's movie. I love the feeling of 'em and this one was actually really good. I have not much to say about it really. This is another of them movies that Emma Stone talks about in Easy A. So yes, I just had to watch it. I have seen like three of them now, is that all of them? hmm. Anyways, this was absolutely watchable.

8. I'm Not There (2007)

73 Metascore

Ruminations on the life of Bob Dylan, where six characters embody a different aspect of the musician's life and work.

Director: Todd Haynes | Stars: Christian Bale, Cate Blanchett, Heath Ledger, Ben Whishaw

Votes: 55,588 | Gross: $4.02M

I have had this on my watchlist forever! But now, yesterday or something, I finally watched it. And it was - disappointing. It's now that it was bad, not at all. It's very well produced. It's just that, I think it is too artistic, and I didn't really understand the plot! It's sad really, that I did not get it, cuz i bet it would be a great film if I did. But I just did not see what was going on and stuff. I still love Heath Ledger and Bob Dyan's music though. Maybe I'll watch this again in a few years and hopefully I can understand the pattern of the plot better then.

9. Heathers (1989)

Director: Michael Lehmann | Stars: Winona Ryder, Christian Slater, Shannen Doherty, Lisanne Falk

Votes: 84,579 | Gross: $1.11M

Oh my god this was so totally weird. And not even in a good way. But everybody have this film on their like "Best Teenage movies"-lists. Is there something I don't understand? This was, thumbs down.

10. Fast Times at Ridgemont High (1982)

R | 90 min | Comedy, Drama

61 Metascore

Director: Amy Heckerling | Stars: Sean Penn, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Judge Reinhold, Robert Romanus

Votes: 89,758 | Gross: $27.09M

The only thing I'm watching right now is movies from the 70's and 80's. Saw this yesterday, and it was.. well, watchable. It's fun to see Sean Penn, since he had directed (and written) one of my favorite movies. He is so ugly in this film though!! He looks a lot better now. Haha. Old.

11. Scott Pilgrim vs. the World (2010)

PG-13 | 112 min | Action, Comedy, Fantasy

69 Metascore

Scott Pilgrim must defeat his new girlfriend's seven evil exes in order to win her heart.

Director: Edgar Wright | Stars: Michael Cera, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Kieran Culkin, Anna Kendrick

Votes: 361,719 | Gross: $31.49M

I just saw some snapshots from this production and remembered how much I like it. It is really bad actually. Very dorky and everything, so I just can't believe how much I like it. I always laugh so hard when I watch it. And this film has made me almost always go "this is, this is, this is....boring, dele-ete". And I have like the greatest crush on Michael Cera.

12. Can't Buy Me Love (1987)

PG-13 | 94 min | Comedy, Drama, Romance

36 Metascore

Director: Steve Rash | Stars: Patrick Dempsey, Amanda Peterson, Courtney Gains, Tina Caspary

Votes: 31,386 | Gross: $31.62M

This one is cool. I love 80's movies. And Ronald gets so cool and handsome when he is being "the cool guy". Love the ending with the lawn mower.

Director: Andrea Arnold | Stars: Kaya Scodelario, James Howson, Solomon Glave, Shannon Beer

Votes: 9,057 | Gross: $0.10M

This is crap. Not crap actually, but it's weird. Not at all as I thought it would be (like the one from 2009). I only watched this because I was exited to see Kaya Scodelario in something else than Skins. She was just as depressing (I love skins though)

Director: John Hamburg | Stars: Paul Rudd, Jason Segel, Rashida Jones, Sarah Burns

Votes: 190,519 | Gross: $71.44M

I have a predilection of Paul Rudd from he being Phoebe's husband Mike (or Crap-Bag) in FRIENDS, and Jason Segel from Marshal in HIMYM. I also like Rahida Jones from the Office (saw this movie before I started watching office though). This movie is really entertaining and funny! Very watchable.

This is an 8'0's-classic so I felt like I had to see it! It was not as good as I might have thought it would be. But I liked... the ending. Haha. It's entertaining.

Votes: 17,300 | Gross: $0.13M

Watched this with a bunch of my friends, they didn't like it. I actually had to nag a bit to persuade them that we should really check this movie out. And I liked it (I think I'm a little bit more deep and stuff than they are). I like french movies and this story is fascinating.

EMILE! OK, he is like the love of my life. No idea what it is about him but. I simply love him, ok!? (and I've learned - it is easy to love secretly from a distance!). So, about this film. Director: Michael Burke | Stars: Emile Hirsch, Richard Jenkins, Tom Guiry, Pablo Schreiber

Votes: 4,166

OK, I love Emile. He is by far the one actor whom I've been the most in love with. But this movie is just weird. Emile is not always starring in the most swell films. This is just weird. I tend to like B-movies. But this is not even B. But I still love you EMILE!!!

Director: Gary Ross | Stars: Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, Stanley Tucci

Votes: 823,519 | Gross: $408.01M

This move is AMAZING. Loved it. I hadn't read the book when I watched this on the movie theater (I'm gonna read 'em this summer for sure!). But this is a super-duper good move. Makes it embarrassing to have been such a twilight fan (urgh)(Well, ok, twilight is still good, but..). Now - i'm a hunger gamer! Can't wait to read the book series and for the follow up movies to come.

Update!: It's the end of August now and the first week of school is over, and I've read the hunger gamer series about five times this past summer. Honestly like the best books, on so many levels, that I've read in my entire life. And now afterwards, the movie version has to get just a tint of a lower grade than before, just because there was some stuff that was a bit different from the book, that really they did not have a reason for making it different. But still: one of the greatest movies I've seen!

24. The Help (2011)

It has been a while since I saw this. And I have no earlier description from it. But OK. I tend to like Collin Firth. And I obviously like Nicholas Hoult from Skins. And Jon Kortajarena is so handsome - I get stomach aces. Anyways, the movie all in all. Was pretty boring.... As I remember it.

I was in a period then I only watched 80's movies when I was this. And, as most of 'em is, it was watchable. Nothing revolutionary, nothing outstanding. But a movie you can just watch. It's not hard to get or anything, you don't have to make much effort. I like those films, haha.

Director: Richard Ayoade | Stars: Craig Roberts, Sally Hawkins, Paddy Considine, Noah Taylor

Votes: 83,310 | Gross: $0.47M

This is what I though before I saw this: "OK, this is a movie that I will probably adore. It seems weird - I like weird movies. This will be great!". This is what I though after I'd seen it: "OK, not at all as I thought. Disappointed. To weird and with a to boring content to function". OK that was a bit harsh.
