Season Review-Raising Hope Season 2
Overall: 7.5-good
Raising Hope is definitely a colorful show-colorful characters, plots, and environments. The characters are all weird (which I like), as are many of the storylines. I think Season 2 utilized all this much better than Season 1 overall. This season definitely had its ups and downs, but it seemed like the writers had a better direction for the show. The grades I gave were very consistent-however, there were no episodes where I thought "This is great" except for "Jimmy's Fake Girlfriend". That was definitely one of the best episodes of the year on TV. Garrett Dillahunt, Martha Plimpton, and Lucas Neff were all great to watch throughout, and while it did fizzle out at the end of the season, I liked i better than the first.
