Filmes assistidos na 39ª Mostra Internacional de Cinema em São Paulo
De 22 de outubro a 4 de novembro, acontece a tradicional Mostra Internacional de Cinema em São Paulo. Durante duas semanas, serão exibidos 312 títulos de 62 países em 22 endereços, entre cinemas, espaços culturais e museus espalhados pela capital paulista, incluindo exibições gratuitas e ao ar livre.
A seleção deste ano faz um apanhado do que o cinema contemporâneo mundial está produzindo, além das principais tendências, temáticas, narrativas e estéticas.
A 39ª Mostra Internacional de Cinema é composta por seis seções: Competição Novos Diretores - que exibe títulos de diretores que tenham realizado até dois longas (os mais bem votados pelo público serão vistos pelo Júri Internacional, que escolhe posteriormente os que vão receber o Troféu Bandeira Paulista); Perspectiva Internacional - que apresenta um panorama do recente cinema mundial; Retrospectiva - seção com clássicos e títulos de importantes diretores restaurados pela The Film Foundation; Homenagem - celebração ao centenário do diretor italiano Mario Monicelli, com exibição de cinco títulos restaurados; Apresentações Especiais - sessões em espaços alternativos ou de filmes que completam obra de diretores selecionados pelo evento; Mostra Brasil - títulos brasileiros inéditos em São Paulo.

Movies watched in the 39th São Paulo International Film Festival
The traditional São Paulo International Film Festival takes place between October 22nd and November 4th. During two weeks, Mostra will show 312 films from 62 countries in 22 venues, including theaters, cultural spaces and museums in São Paulo, including free and open door screenings.
The program this year presents an overview of the contemporary worldwide production, as well as its main tendencies, themes, narratives and aesthetics.
The 39th Mostra has six sections: New Directors Competition —which shows titles by directors who have made a maximum of two features (the ones with most votes from the audience are seen by the International Jury, which then choose the ones that will receive the Bandeira Paulista prize); International Perspective - an overview of recent worldwide cinema; Retrospective - a section with titles from important directors, restored by The Film Foundation; Tribute - a celebration of the centenary of Italian director Mario Monicelli, with the exhibition of six restored films; Special Screenings —which take place in alternative venues or show other works by directors who are part of the program; and Mostra Brasil - with Brazilian films being screened for the first time in São Paulo.
