- StarsPark Seo-joonGo AraPark Hyung-sikRevolves around an elite group of male warrior youth called Hwarang who grow through passion and love in Seorabeol, the capital of the ancient kingdom of Silla. My very first Kdrama!! Loved it so much omg. Beautiful cast (especially my boy, kim taehyung) and a decent storyline. Only issue i had was the constantly bawling female lead. As pretty as Go Ara is as Ah Ro, she got on my nerves when she cried over EVERYTHING. But once again, shout out to all the guys in this drama for being beautiful humans.
Would i watch it again? YES. - StarsPark Bo-youngPark Hyung-sikJi SooDo Bong-soon is a woman born with superhuman strength that comes from the long line of women possessing it. when Ahn Min Hyuk, the CEO of ainsoft, a gaming company witnesses her strength he hires her as his personal bodyguard.Because I loved Park Hyungsik in Hwarang, I moved on to this next and I actually enjoyed it so much. This was v cute especially Ji Soo and his character and the mini bromance he had with Hyunsik's character. I really liked it.
Would i watch it again? OH YEAH! There were so many moments that truly made me LOL that I would definitely watch it again. - StarsGong YooKim Go-eunLee Dong-wookIn his quest for a bride to break his immortal curse, Dokkaebi, a 939-year-old guardian of souls, meets a grim reaper and a sprightly student with a tragic past. This was way too overhyped for me personally. It started off decent but got boring towards the middle so I left it and came back for the last few episodes. The chemistry between the 2 male leads kept me going otherwise the female lead sometimes felt too childish for me and I wasn't into that.
Would i watch it again? Probably not - StarsPark Seo-joonKim Ji-wonAhn Jae-hongKo Dong Man, a former taekwondo champion, and Choi Ae Ra, a receptionist, struggle to follow their dreams as life throws obstacles in their path.PARK SEO JOON LOOKS SO GOOD IN THIS!! Also Kim JiWon did an amazing job playing Choi AeRa
Would i watch it again? YESSSS - StarsLee Min-hoPark Shin-hyeKim Woo-binAfter a chance encounter in LA, two teens from different social backgrounds reunite at an exclusive high school attended by Korea's über rich.Ngl, i thought this was kinda boring but I stuck to it and watched it to the end. There were parts where I was just so annoyed that the storyline didn't end there and was dragged on. Also lots of people are really into Lee MinHo but I'm more of a Choi MinHo kind of gyal
Would i watch it again? No - StarsPark Shin-hyeKim Ji-hoonKim Yoon-hyeThe shy shut-in Dok-mi must come out of her shell when she gets caught spying on her handsome neighbor by his famous houseguest.Ugh. This is another one that I dragged myself through only because of Yoon SiYoon and Kim SeulGi. Park HyeShin is so cute too
Would i watch it again? Nope - StarsJung Il-wooAhn Jae-HyunPark So-damA young girl who lives with her cruel stepmother and sister, accidentally meets 3 young and rich cousins who live a luxury life in a big mansion and is hired by the boys grandpa to look after their bad behavior.I loved this!
Would i watch it again? Yes! - StarsKim Seul-giYoon Doo-joonAhn Hyo-seopA high school student (Dan Bi) escapes from her time to the Joseon Era, where she has to prove her knowledge to survive.ohmygod!!!! I loved this so much and I was a little bit upset that it was only two hour-long episodes :( Kim SeulGi. Saranghaeyo <3
Would i watch it again? YESSSS OMG!!!! - StarsSong Ji-hyoChoi Jin-hyukLee Pil-moJin-Hee and Chang-Min marry young but get a divorce soon after when things between them turn bitter. Years later they meet again as interns in an ER, where they must deal with a demanding job and the antipathy still fresh between them. This was not too great. I liked it at first but it d r a g g e d so much
Would i watch it again? Nope. - StarsPark Min-YoungPark Yoo-chunYoo Ah-inIn the Joseon era, Kim Yoon-hee masquerades as a boy to earn a living as a book transcriber. Her family's dire circumstances and the encouragement of a noble's son finally drive her to attend Sungkyukwan University, forbidden for females.I LOVE THIS SERIES SO MUCH AND YOO AH-IN IS SUCH A BEAUTIFUL MAN WOW
Would i watch it again? YESSS!! - StarsKim Hee-aeYoo Ah-inPark Hyuk-kwonA love story between a young poor student pianist and his older married piano teacher. Could their pure love for each other win, despite disapproval from the society and the "moral standard"?I wanted to love this because I love Yoo Ah-In but I couldn't even get through the first episode.
Would i watch it again? NEVER. - StarsHwang Jeong-eumJi SungBae Soo-binThe story revolves around four people, who live with secrets, and the trials they face on their journey to find love and exact revenge. This is another amazing drama that I loved a lot!
Would i watch it again? YES DEFINITELY - StarsPark Bo-gumKim Yoo-jungKwak Dong-yeonThe unlikely love story between a crown prince and his eunuch.I really couldn't bring myself to enjoy this.
Would i watch it again? Nope - StarsSeo Ye-jiLee Beom-suJeong Eu-geneMoorim School isn't focused on high academic scores. The school teaches students virtues including honesty, faith, sacrifice and communication. The teachers and students at the school come from different countries with their own stories.Lee HongBin, you worked hard. I love him but I can't say the same for this drama. It was ok but idk, I just wasn't feeling it.
Would i watch it again? No, sorry - StarsKim Min-jaeLee Se-yeongCha Tae-hyunA free-spirited famous idol, a struggling singer, and their crew of "twenty-something-year-olds." When they meet, it will be an orchestra of disaster.I got through 10 episodes because of Cha Taehyun and Yoon SiYoon but I couldn't finish it.
Would i watch it again? Nope - StarsLee Sung-kyungNam Joo-hyukLee Jae-yoonA coming-of-age story about a group of college athletes who are fighting for their dreams, experiencing and finding love in the process, and growing every step of the way.Everything about this drama was so cute, and I loved it! Also thank you PDnim for the JiSoo cameo <3
Would i watch it again? YES I WOULD!! - StarsRa Mi-ranLee Yo-wonSe-bin MyeongThis series features three women from different status coming together for revenge. They join forces to carry out their individual revenges.Another one that I couldn't get myself into. The concept was good but execution didn't quite match up
Would i watch it again? No - StarsSung Dong-ilLee Kwang-sooJin KyungA love story between a psychiatrist named Ji Hae Soo and an author who had schizophrenia named Jang Jae Yeol. The concept of the story line seemed so good but their acting and the lengthening of unnecessary scenes just didn't work for me. I was really looking forward to this due to the mental health aspect but no, I couldn't do it.
Would i watch it again? Nope - StarsSeo In-GukJang Na-raPark Bo-gumBriliant criminal psychologist tries to solve murder cases that seem to be linked to one another, and something triggers a memory he himself thought he'd lost forever.I really didn't like this.
Would i watch it again? Nope. - StarsChae Soo-binJi SooCha Hak-yeonWith cheerleading as the background, the drama depicts the friendships and loves of youths, while dealing with a harsh educational environment that emphasizes competition.CHA HAKYEON! JISOO! SARANGHAEYO!!
I really loved this drama
Would i watch it again? OH YES OF COURSE - StarsSeo Hyeon-jinYang Se-jongKim Jae-WookAbout the love between a writer who is elder than the person she loves, the chef.I pulled myself through this but only towards the end when it started dragging however the start was so good that I just wanted to see it through. Also Kim JaeWook is so beautiful, wow
Would i watch it again? Probably not - StarsBae SuzyLee Jong-sukJung Hae-inThe drama is about a woman, Nam Hong Joo, who can see accidents that take place in the future through her dreams. And a prosecutor, Jung Jae Chan, who struggles to stop the woman's dreams from coming true.Isn't Suzy so adorable?? I wanted to like this. I really did. But I couldn't. So there.
Would i watch it again? No - StarsKu Hye-SunLee Min-hoKim Hyun-joongPoor girl attends the elite Shin Hwa High and is bullied by the leader of F4 (the four richest boys). He becomes attracted to her; however, she has a crush on his best friend. Whom will she choose?I really hated so much about this and honestly, Monsta X did a much better job in their version
Would i watch it again? NEVER IN MY LIFE - CreatorHisaya NakajôStarsKim Ji-wonKang Ha-neulChoi Min-hoA high school girl who's inspired by a gold-medal High Jumper devises a scheme to motivate him by attending his school.Choi MinHo. The sunshine of my life. This was great. I enjoyed it
Would i watch it again? Maybe - StarsPark Shin-hyeJang Keun-sukJung Yong-hwaGo Mi-Nyu, a girl about to become a nun, is asked to cover for her indisposed twin brother, Mi-Nam, who's on the verge of becoming a k-idol. To do so, she disguises herself as a boy and joins A.N.Jell, a really popular boy band.Park ShinHye is so cute and I really like her in almost every role she plays but this drama really was not for me. I get that everything had to be a little OTT because it's manga-based but honestly, it could do with some toning down.
Would i watch it again? No - StarsHan Hyo-jooLee Seung-giMoon Chae-wonAfter losing her father Go Eun-sung's stepmother kicks her and her autistic brother out of the house. Shortly after her brother is kidnapped. Eun-sung now has to look for her brother while also trying to find a job in order to survive.I wasn't feeling the cast tbh. The male lead just didn't do anything for me
Would i watch it again? No sirreee - StarsJung So-minKim Hyun-joongLee Tae-sungFate brings polar opposite high school classmates (one obsessively attracted to the other, the other indifferent to all advances) to live under one roof. Is romance possible?I HATED THE ROLE OF THE FEMALE LEAD SO MUCH I STG. Why was she so pathetic? I DESPISED this drama and 10/10 would never recommend.
Would i watch it again? NEVER AGAIN IN A MILLION YEARS - StarsHa Ji-WonHyun BinYoon Sang-HyunA rich young CEO falls for a poor stuntwoman despite class differences, cultural traditions and the man's firmly objecting mother.I really disliked so much about this and let's be honest, Big Bang did a much better job on their remake
Would i watch it again? No way - StarsKim Seon-aLee Dong-wookUhm Ki-joonTimid and considerate Yeon Jae finds out that she has only six months to live. She decides to quit her job and works hard to complete each dream in her bucket list. This was cute but very predictable and also I wanted the second male lead to find someone as well but no such luck.
Would i watch it again? No - StarsSon Ye-jinLee Min-hoKim Nam-gilA straight-laced architect falls in love with a furniture designer while pretending to be gay.It was ok. There were a few good chuckles sprinkled throughout this but other than that, there's not much going for it. I stuck to it though
Would i watch it again? Nope - StarsHan GrooYeon Woo-jinJeong Jin-woonBefore Joo Jang Mi can propose to her boyfriend, he has his best friend, Gong Gi Tae, help him break up with her. Meanwhile, Gi Tae is eager to remain single, but as his family insists he marries, he proposes a fake engagement to Jang Min.I loved this!
Would i watch it again? Yep - StarsLee Min-JungJoo Sang-ukKim Gyu-riAe-Ra is broke and seeks revenge after learning that her ex-husband Jung-Woo, whose business struggled during their marriage, has now made a fortune.I didn't finish this because I just couldn't. Some aspects of the story were great and really touching but then it just went downhill.
Would i watch it again? No - StarsSun WoongKim So-hyunKim Hye JiGeu Rim is a student at an arts high school who dreams of becoming a pop singer. At school She gets a new roommate, Irene who's actually a boy. Irena's persona is a pretty Female CF star and his actual name is Hyun Woo.I started watching it and 25 minutes in, I couldn't get past the horrible acting and shitty plot execution.
Would i watch it again? Of course not. - StarsKim Sun-youngLee Si-youngKim Young-kwangPeople lose loved ones in crimes and the criminals are not punished. The daily lives of these people are completely broken. They form a group to realize justice.I LOVED THIS SO MUCH YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND OMG.
Ok, so this was my first crime/action/thriller kdrama and ngl, I really wasn't expecting much but from the very first scene when the Amen song started playing, I WAS HOOKED. I kind of wish they'd make a season 2 but at the same time, I kinda liked the way this ended. I CRIED SO MANY TIMES THOUGH OMG. Ugh. It was just so good and I loved it so much and not just because it starred both Kim Seulgi (who I LOVE) and Kim Kibum (who I also love) but just because it was amazing ok? Ok.
Would I watch it again? Maybe*
*I'm only saying maybe because now I know how it ends and that kills the mystery/thriller aspect of these kinds of dramas/shows ygm? - StarsYoo Ah-inLim Soo-jungGo Kyung-pyoWriters that lived under Japanese rule in the 1930s are reincarnated into a bestselling writer who is in a slump, a mysterious ghostwriter, and a devoted fan of the bestselling writer.I LOVED THIS SO MUCH. IT MADE ME CRY SO MUCH AND IM SO EMOTIONAL RN BECAUSE OF THIS.
I initially wanted to watch this because I love Yoo Ah-In but turns out, I love everybody in the main cast. Also the bromance for me won over the main couple romance and it hurt that much more in the end. Go Kyung Po is such a cutie, he actually reminds me of a puppy. The humour in this was also something I loved because it wasn't overdone but rather it was juuuuust right. Basically, I can't stop raving about how good this was.
The only reason why I can't give this a 10/10 is because towards the end, it really started dragging and got a teensy bit boring but other than that, I LOVED IT A LOT.
Would I watch it again? Most likely! - StarsGong YooYoon Eun-hyeLee Sun-kyunA tomboy, mistaken for a lad, maintains the deception for the sake of employment. The situation becomes complicated when her male boss begins to develop feelings for this "boy."I enjoyed this quite a lot even though I was a little apprehensive about it at the beginning but only because it starred Gong Yoo who I didn't l-o-v-e in Goblin but I really did come to like it. The bromance between the staff at the coffee shop was really great but I honestly could've done without the Han Sung/Yoo Ju relationship (I really detested them).
Would I watch it again? Maybe. - StarsPark Hae-jinKim Go-eunSeo Kang-joonA college student balances her studies and a part-time job with a relationship with an insecure man who manipulates others.Six episodes in and I couldn't get myself into it as much as I wanted to. I'm now gonna go and read the webtoon instead.
Would I watch it again? Lol, it would've been great if I'd gotten through it the first time (that means it's a no!) - StarsJeong Woong-inKim Jung-hyunRyu DamStory of Queen Seondeok who was born a princess, brought up among commoners and overcame many trials to become the ruler of Silla.I read some really great reviews about this and how people loved it so much they re-watched it for the 15th time etc. but I couldn't even sit through the first episode. Sageuks aren't really my thing but if it's good, I'll continue (refer to Hwarang, Sungkyunkwan Scandal, Splash Splash Love etc.) but this just didn't have what it takes to capture my love and attention.
Would I watch it again? Nope. - StarsJung Il-wooLee Chung-AhLee Ki-wooYang Eun Bi accidentally encounters Cha Chi Soo, the arrogant son of a food company in Korea. When she student teaches they meet again and sparks fly. Both of them end up working at a ramen shop staffed by flower boys (pretty boys).So. We started off pretty decently with this one but it began to get so annoying almost immediately but I stuck with it until ep 10. I really disliked Yang Eun Bi as well as Cha Chi Soo which isn't great considering they're the leads in the drama. Cha Chi Soo was selfish and immature and Eun Bi was just so annoyingly indecisive and weak even though she was supposed to be a tough, hot-tempered woman but it just didn't work for me. Ba-Wool was my fave but his storyline with White Lily just pissed me off too.
Basically, I really didn't like this so would I watch it again? HELL TO THE NO. - StarsYeon Woo-jinGong Seung-yeonBak YoonThe quiet life of an extreme introvert is thrown upside down when his company hires a cheery and outgoing new employee who's not all she seems. This show started off really great; there was some intrigue, some cute bonding moments and just fast-paced movement in the story however it really started to drag itself out when it got to around episode 11/12. By the time we got round to episode 14, I was hoping it was the finale but no, there was more. I thought the casting was great though. Yeon Woo Jin being cast as Eun Hwan Ki was my favourite bit because he suited the role so well (also, I've had a bit of a crush on him since I saw him in Marriage not Dating - go check that one out!) and the Chae sisters actually looked like they could be sisters which I really liked but overall, this drama for me was a 7 out of 10.
Would I watch it again? Probs not. - StarsOh Jung-seChoi Yeo-jinJae-Joon LeeFollows the relationships of four couples living together in an apartment building.I don't have much to say about this one because I really enjoyed it. I usually don't like dramas where there's more than one or two "main" couples because I feel like the storyline gets too draggy but this one worked so well. It was a great combination of laughs and tears and bittersweet moments and I really liked it.
Would I watch it again? Probably, yeah. - StarsMin Nam-koongNam Sang-miLee Jun-hoChief Kim is an eccentric, flamboyant accountant genius working in the underground and trying to save up enough money to travel abroad until he accidentally gets employed by one of the most famous corporations in Korea.Comedy, bromance and redemptive character development?? ALL IN ONE? SIGN ME UP!
When I first saw Namgung Min I wasn't sure I'd enjoy this but clearly I did seeing as I binge watched and finished all 20 eps in 4 days (oops?). The bromance was the factor that got this onto my watch list otherwise I didn't really intend to watch it but thank God I did because I really struck gold with this one!
Would I watch it again? Most definitely. A true 10/10
PS - the webtoon-esque endings were also part of the reason why I loved this btw - StarsSeo In-GukLee HanaKang Ki-youngCan a high school boy lead a double life? Lee Min Seok (Seo In Guk) is a rising hockey player at his high school leading an average high school life, complete with a groupie classmate, Jung Yoo Ah (Lee Yeol Eum), who has a crush on him.I really enjoyed most of this drama even though it took me a month to get through it (mainly because I got distracted by variety shows in the middle). The humour and the way the relationships were created was really my style but I just wish the ending was a bit different...Also Gramps was the real G in this whole drama.
Would I watch it again? Probs, yeah :) - StarsSung JunUi-chul JungJo Bo-ahShut Up Flower Boy Band is a gritty underdog story with heart. Eye Candy is an underground rock band of high school boys. When they transfer to the elite high school, they begin a journey to find their place in the music world.Tried to get into this when I finished High School King of Savvy but the very first episode was just so boring I could not get into it at all.
Would I watch it again? Would've been nice if i had gotten through the first ep tbh, so no. - StarsHan Hyo-jooLee Jong-sukLee Tae-HwanAfter being pulled into the webtoon world created by her father, a surgical resident gets entangled in a murder mystery involving the story's hero.I didn't finish this just because I wasn't all that into it from the offset. I kinda liked Lee Jong-Suk's character in this one tbh and any drama that stars Kang Ki-Young (and Lee Tae-Hwan) are deserving of at least one extra star out of 10 :)
Would I watch it again? No, the concept just wasn't for me but major props to the artist who drew all the webtoon-esque bits! - StarsYoo In-naJin Yi-HanMin Nam-koongA divorced couple meet again as the manager of a wedding department of a hotel and as a groom. A murder case takes place. Sang-Hyo (Yoo In-Na) is the manager for the wedding department of a hotel. She is a perfectionist with a bright personality. once She divorced 7 years ago. She meets her ex-husband Hae-Young (Jin Lee-Han) as a client at the hotel. Sang-Hyo and Hae-Young were in love and married, but they divorced less than 100 days later. Hae-Young is a famous architect. Sung-Gyeom (Namgung Min) is the management director of the hotel and Sang-Hyo's boss. The murder case that brings about a crisis at the hotel is related with his personal history. He is in a love triangle with Sang-Hyo and Eun-Joo (Lee Young-Eun). Eun-Joo works as public relations manager for the hotel. She is ambitious with her work career.I watched it up until ep 11 and honestly it was ok but it began dragging too much and the immaturity displayed by the three main characters just really put me off wanting to watch til the end so I just read the synopsis. Also the murder mystery aspect of this drama is kinda shit just because it wasn't written very well, idk. I just didn't really like it and tbh, I had an idea about who might've killed Jo Sung-Gyum's dad from around episode 5/6...
Would I watch this again? No - StarsJung Yong-hwaPark Shin-hyeSong Chang-uiA series of misunderstandings causes Lee Shin, the cocky leader of "The Stupid" and Lee Gyu-won, a student majoring in Traditional Korean Music to start on the wrong foot. Until she sees him performing live, and is immediately captivated.This...it wasn't the worst one I've ever watched but it certainly wasn't the best. I felt the plot between the main characters was weak and they got together far too quickly for my liking. I did enjoy the humour in this though - that's definitely a redeeming factor in this drama! I wish they'd hastened it up and ended it around the 10 episode mark instead.
Would I watch this again? Not unless I just wanted something crappy to pass the time. - StarsPark Gyu-riJun Ji HooSong Jae-rimIt is a romantic drama about the writer Hong Yeo Joo who has to dress up as a man to follow her muse and work at the Nail salon Nail Shop Paris. The story revolves around the boys working there and the happenings around them and their clients.I HAD SUCH HIGH HOPES FOR THIS :(
I'd read so many good things about this drama and I liked the crossdressing aspect etc and in theory it seemed great but execution wise, nope. There was no substance to it. Just boring nonsense with a plot that wasn't really going anywhere. I'm only on ep 3 of 10 btw. The only reason why it didn't make it onto the list sooner was because i've been so busy with work that i've not had a chance to watch anything lol.
Would I watch it again? Not a chance in hell. - StarsJo Bo-ahOn Joo-WanSong Jae-rimMermaid princess Ha Ni falls for Shi Kyung and becomes human, moving into In Gyeo House, a residence for job seekers. To stay human permanently, she must make Shi Kyung love her in 100 days.I GOT THROUGH THIS SO FAST BECAUSE IT WAS SO GOOD BUT...
The ending omg! Yes, the show was only 10 episodes long but I felt the ending was so rushed that it didn't provide the viewer satisfaction I would have liked. Other than that though, i thoroughly enjoyed it. It was hilarious and fast-paced which if you've not realised by now, I really like!
Would I watch it again? Most likely, yeah - StarsLee Joon-giIUKang Ha-neulHa-jin travels 1000 years back in time and lands in the era of Goryeo Dynasty as a young girl named Hae-soo. She, now trapped in another person's body, becomes involved in a power struggle against various vicious contenders to the throne.10/10 would highly recommend!!!
I loved and hated this equally because it was so good but made me cry so much! THE ENDING THOUGH OMG, IT DID A JOHN CENA AND CAME FOR ME OUTTA NOWHERE! UGH. THE WHOLE THING WAS SO GOOD I NEED TO STATE IT IN CAPS LOCK. Also, anything containing Nam Joo Hyuk and Ji Soo together gets an extra brownie point, lol!
Would I watch it again? HELL YEAH OFC I WOULD!! - StarsHwang Jeong-eumLee Soo-hyukRyu Jun-yeolA superstitious woman is told, by a fortune teller, that her sister will come out of coma if she spends the night with a man born in 1986. Later, she finds out that her boss, who is an antisocial nerd, was born in 1986 and tries to seduce him.I thoroughly enjoyed this one even if there were moments where i was a bit like "hmmm, not quite sure about this." but still, it was a pretty good drama. My fave part of it is/was Ryu Joon Yeol because he's so freaking adorable, it hurts my heart.
Would I watch it again? Yeah, probs! :) - StarsLee Jong-sukPark Shin-hyeKim Young-kwangA young boy, whose life and family has been destroyed by new media, gets adopted by a family in a rural area after being found lost at sea. He conceals his past for 13 years. But then the girl he loves, a reporter, finds out the truth.So. I'd heard a lot about this show so i'd added it to my watch list but unfortunately, it did not live up to expectations. I only got a few episodes in and while it seems like it took me a while to get there (9th nov to 20 nov) it's not because I was trying to give this a chance - i was just busy with work lol. Also I don't think i've loved any of Lee Jong Suk's dramas tbh and this is such a shame cos this one also stars Park Shin Hye who i adore cos she's so cute!
Would I watch it again? LOL NO - StarsPark Hae-jinPark Sung-woongKim Min-jungA secret agent works under cover as a bodyguard and is forced to deal with both national security missions as well as a temperamental superstar.I'm gonna put it out there: i was seriously disappointed. This drama has been on my watch list for a while but I was putting it off because I wanted to watch some of the crappier ones before I moved onto the more highly rated ones. BIG MISTAKE. This drama wasn't necessarily bad but it wasn't amazing or really all that interesting tbh. I watched episodes 1 to 4 and then couldn't deal with it any longer and so I went ahead and read the synopsis for a few of the eps up to ep 15 (penultimate episode) and then watched the last two eps. Even the ending disappointed me. There were some good comedic moments but really, it could've been better AND it dragged on for 16 eps. In my opinion, it would've been ok had it ended at 6/7. AND ALSO the lead female actress, Kim Min Jung, didn't appeal to me from the very start. I think it was just cos every time I saw her I just pictured EXO's Kyungsoo in a wig LMAO. Park Hae Jin looked beautiful though lol. Anyway I'm giving it 4* for PHJ and the funny bits
Would I watch this again? No. - StarsSong Joong-kiSong Hye-kyoJin GooThis drama tells of the love story that develops between a surgeon and a special forces officer.THIS TOOK ME SO LONG TO FINISH BUT HEAR ME OUT PLEASE!
Ok so when I started this, I loved it so much that i just didnt want to part ways with it so soon so i watched about 3 episodes and then left it for a while (i watched Real Men 300 in between though!) and then came back to finish it all off.
In conclusion though, I loved this a lot. Towards ep 14, I did feel it drag a little which is the reason for 9/10 but other than that, I loved it.
Would I watch it again? Yeah, probs - StarsJun Ji-hyunLee Min-hoLee Hee-joonA mermaid from the Joseon period ends up in present-day Seoul, where she crosses paths with a swindler who may have ties to someone from her past.HONESTLY SUCH AN UNDERRATED DRAMA OMG! I absolutely loved it and i finally get the Lee Minho hype lol.
Would i watch it again? yeah, most likely - StarsJi SungHwang Jeong-eumPark Seo-joonA love story between the son from a wealthy family who has 7 personalities Cha Do Hyun (Ji Sung) and Oh Ri Jin (Hwang Jung Eum) who becomes his secret psychiatrist.I HAD SUCH HIGH EXPECTATIONS FOR THIS AND IT LIVED UP TO NONE OF THEM.
This was one of the dramas that was extremely highly rated and on everyone's watch list/recommending list so I foolishly added it to mine. When I saw the cast I was pretty happy - I loved seeing Ji Sung and Hwang Jung Eum together since Secret and Park Seo Joon is amazing so I had high hopes for the cast too. BUT IT WAS SO BORING. I got 6 episodes in and just couldn't do it to myself anymore :( I'm rating it 3 stars for the cast and that's it.
Would I watch it again? Maybe, if only to give it a chance to redeem itself. - StarsHwang Jeong-eumPark Seo-joonKo Jun-heeWhen Ji Sung-Joon was young, he was ugly. As he grew up, he began to have an attractive appearance. When Kim Hye-Jin was young, she was pretty. As she grew up, she became ugly. Ji Sung-Joon tries to find his first love.I LOVED THIS AND IF I HAD THE TIME I WOULD HAVE BINGED WATCHED IT
But honestly, PSJ is so hot like wow.
Would i watch it again? Yes, ofc - StarsChoi Min-hoPark So-damKim Min-jaeA group of young people gather on a rooftop and tell their stories.TBH, if i didn't have to go to work and have other responsibilities, I probs could've binged watched this entire thing. Anyway, i have a couple of things to say about this drama:
Firstly, CHOI MINHO YOU BEAUTIFUL HUMAN BEING. I LOVE HIM (5HINee forever!)
Secondly, this drama was great. It didn't drag and got everything out as and when it needed to.
and FINALLY, THE ENDING. OMG. I have a love/hate thing for the ending but yeah...that's about it.
Would i watch this again? absolutely - StarsSong Ji-eunSung HoonKim Jae-youngJin-wook and Yoo-mi meet at a Gangwon-do resort and get caught up in a series of misunderstandings and accidents.I genuinely wasn't expecting much from this but tbqh, it was pretty entertaining. Brace yourselves though because 95% of the entire show is a bunch of flashbacks from the other 5% lol. It was a decent show to waste time on but i did feel the last few episodes were a little bit heavier on the flashbacks whereby each episode seemed more like 97% memories and 3% new content.
Would i watch this again? Probs not but it was ok - StarsChoi Kang-heeCheon Jeong-myeongSoheeCha Hong Do blushes extremely caused by her social anxiety disorder. She has a crush on Jang Doo Soo for years, but she is unable to even talk to him and runs away if he encounters her. Then she meets Go Yi Seok, an egoistic psychiatrist. When I started this, I didn't think I would get through the first ep just because of the way the characters looked but as i got further into it, i realised i was being a shallow shit and that this drama was actually worth watching for the storyline. Sometimes when a show is actually pretty good, i find i don't have as much to say about it as i do with ones i dislike lol so i'll just leave it at this.
Would i watch it again? probably :) - StarsChoi Woo-sikHan Ji-minLee Tae-riCrown Prince Lee Gak transports 300 years into the future following the death of his wife; in 21st century Seoul, he meets Joo Se-Na, a woman with an uncanny resemblance to the deceased princess.THE WAY THIS WAS HYPED UP I STG.
Everyone was all like omg, this is the funniest thing but honestly it's not. I didn't find it all that funny and also it just wasnt for me. I got up to about ep 12 before giving up because it just started dragging and the story line became predominantly about the flashbacks and ugh, i just cba with this.
Would i watch it again? Oh heeeeeelllll no. - StarsJo Jung-SukKong Hyo-jinGo Kyung-pyoGetting ahead in a broadcasting station is tough and the competition is fierce -- but when a news anchor and meteorologist start to fall for each other, things get much more complicated. This had a lot of potential.
It was going so great and honestly, it could have ended around ep 15/16 but to stretch the story line on until ep 24??? Nah, it's not for me. I stuck with it up to ep 19 but i can't bring myself to complete it.
Would i watch it again? Nope. - StarsJi Chang-wookNam Ji-hyunChoi Tae-joonA young woman grows close to a prosecutor as she works with him as a trainee in a murder case. However, things take a turn when she inexplicably becomes a suspect.I ENJOYED THIS A LOT. So many twists and turns and pretty fast paced with decent humour and pretty people. Also the flashbacks weren't overdone nor were they dragged out so that's an A* right there! Also Ji Chang Wook is beautiful and i really appreciated seeing him in this!
Would i watch it again? Yeah, probs :) - StarsYeo Jin-gooKim Seol-hyunWon Hee LeeJae-Min is a popular high school student. He falls in love with transfer student Ma-Ri. Ma-Ri though hides her true identity as a vampire.I couldn't make it through ep 1 but tbh i've read the webtoon and it's not all that great. Idk why i bothered with the drama lol
Would i watch it again? Ha, i don't think so - StarsJung Yu-miEric MoonSung JunHan Yeo-reum and Nam Ha-jin are committed to each other. Before Ha-jin can propose, Yeo-reum's ex, Kang Tae-ha, reappears in her life. Yeo-reum and Tae-ha begin to work together and realize that they might want to rediscover old love.Thought this would be good, tried to get into it but only reached episode 5 before i fully realised it just wasnt for me.
I love Kim Seulgi though!
Would i watch it again? No. - StarsAoi NakamuraNatsumi IshibashiMariko TsutsuiA couple's relationship is threatened by an unusual problem.MY FIRST JDRAMA WOOO!!
I wasn't expecting much from this and the format was a bit different to what i usually like so i was pleasantly surprised to find that this was acc pretty decent. I do have a bit of an issue with the plot but nothing major.
Would i watch it again? No but not because i didnt enjoy it :) - StarsJi SungKim Young-okAhn Nae-sangAfter a long stretch of unemployment No Eun Seol lands a job as secretary to Cha Ji Heon the youngest son of a rich family. However her secretary duties go beyond the ordinary, helping her boss cope and function in normal society.I really thought i'd enjoy this because I like Ji Sung. Boy was i wrong :(
I struggled through 5 eps and could take no more.
Would i watch it again? No, ofc not. - StarsLee Dong-wookJung Ryeo-wonBae Jong-okSet within the backdrop of a hospital and a radio station. People with different problems get together and become happier. All i can say is that i really tried to enjoy this one, mainly because i like Lee Dong Wook (and Jung Ryeo Won is v cute) and because i usually like the friends-to-lovers trope but this one just didnt do it for me :(
Would i watch it again? No - StarsMinseoKim Hee-ChanChoi Min-hoA handsome orthopedic surgeon loses his first love who committed suicide when he was in his high school days. To save her he gets the chance to go back in time.THIS WAS V CUTE AND I LOVE CHOI MINHO.
Two hours it took me to get through this entire thing and i don't regret it for a second.
Would i watch it again? 9/10 would recommend (it would be a 10 if it had made me cry) - StarsKim Woo-binBae SuzyLim Ju-hwanThe memory of their painful breakup still fresh in their minds, two former lovers reunite years later as a top actor and a documentary producer. All i know is that i cried waterfalls of tears (9* bc it dragged a bit)
Would I watch it again? 100% YES. - StarsLee Bo-youngLee Jong-sukYoon Sang-HyunA sharp female lawyer with no filter teams up with a public defender and a high-school student with special gifts to bring down a killer with a personal vendetta. The first Lee Jong Suk drama i've ever completed, woohoo! Wasnt amazing but wasnt terrible. Could've been a bit more fast-paced but the extension justified that.
Would i watch it again? Maybe - StarsJang HyukJang Na-raChoi Jin-hyukA touching Korean drama filled with comedy about a girl who finds happiness, friendship and love in the most unexpected way! This gets a 5* rating bc it had potential to be great but it began to drag so much around ep 7 that by the time i got to ep 11 and realised i still had 9 eps left, i was done. especially after the amnesia storyline. i was outta there. they could have done so much better with this one ugh.
Would i watch it again? no - StarsEun-ji JungSeo In-GukHoyaThis drama will focus on the extreme fan culture that emerged in the 1990s when idol groups took center stage and K-pop was blossoming. What a great way to start up my post-Ramadan Kdrama addiction! I honestly don't know why I put this off for so long but it's great. 9/10 would recommend
Would I watch it again? Yeah, probs - StarsUhm JunghwaPark Seo-joonHan Jae-seokBased on the popular Taiwanese drama, My Queen. Despite her witchy reputation at work, 39-year-old tabloid reporter Ban Ji Yeon (Uhm Jung Hwa) is ultra focused on her job.The 3 star rating this show received were bc of Park Seo Joon's beauty.
Really though, the premise for this was pretty decent but it just wasn't executed well for my liking. PSJ for the win though! *heart eyes x100*
Would I watch it again? No. I only got up to ep 6 this time and that was over a long period of time LOL - StarsMoon Chae-wonPark Shi-hooJong-ho SongFeaturing breathtaking cinematography and gorgeous locations, The Princess's Man is a lush historical romance that captivated audiences in 2011.I AM SO PROUD OF MYSELF FOR STICKING TO IT AND MAKING IT TO THE END LOL
Ok so, this drama wasn't as horrendous as i'd initially thought. I am not the biggest saeguk fan but i do occasionally enjoy a well-made one. This was fairly well-written but the only thing i didnt like was how slow it was moving but tbh, they had 24 eps that were an hour and a couple minutes long so i suppose they had to drag it out a bit :/ I thought about giving up too many times for this to be great and in the end, i resulted in skipping through the majority of the episode and making it 20 minutes per episode rather than the 60+ minutes it was :)
Would I watch it again? No, purely because of how long it is - StarsYoo In-naKong Hyo-jinCha Seung-wonGu Ae-Jeong, a wash out idol, meets famous actor Dokgo-Jin by chance. Off to a bad start, a series of rumors makes them get involved in each other's careers and boosts Ae-Jeong's popularity enough to participate in a match making show.UGHSFSDFJLKSJ.
Yet another drama that i had fairly high hopes for but it just didn't deliver it in the 7 episodes i watched. The male lead was just too cringey for me to watch at times and i couldnt take it any longer. The storyline would've been so much better had the male lead been mentally stable.
Would I watch it again? Most likely no - StarsPark Yoo-chunYoon Eun-hyeYoo Seung-hoTwo middle schoolers, Soo-yeon and Jung-woo, become friends and grow close. However, an unforeseen tragedy strikes, separating them from each other. 14 years later, they are reunited as adults, but the past still lingers on their minds.Gonna put this out there now: watching it till the end was a mistake. I just wanted to see what would become of Harry but the drama started going downhill for me from about episode 10 and then it was dragged on for 11 more.
Yoon Eun Hye is so cute but her character is such a crybaby throughout. I understand she's been through traumatic events but come on, stop being such an utter weakling and wipe your face. Park Yoo Chun is cute too (esp with his hair up lol)
Would I watch it again? Only up to where they tell the backstory of Soo Yeon and Jung Woo. - StarsPark Bo-youngJo Jung-SukLim Ju-hwanTimid Na Bong Sun gets possessed by the ghost of a confident young woman who seeks to solve her one unfinished business by hooking up with Bong Sun's boss, famous chef Kang Sun Woo.(OH MY GHOSTESS)
THIS DRAMA WAS SO GOOD FROM START TO FINISH AND IT MADE ME LAUGH, CRY AND EVERYTHING IN BETWEEN!
It would totally get a 10* rating if it wasn't for the weakness of Park Bo Young's character at the beginning.
Would I watch it again? Yeah, most likely - StarsLee Hyun-wooPark Soo-youngLee Jung-JinLee Hyun Woo (Moorim School, The Technicians) and Joy (from K-pop group Red Velvet) star in an adaptation of the runaway hit Japanese manga. When a genius composer with a hidden identity meets a girl with a beautiful voice, it is love at first sound. Finding true love with hidden identities, though, is a bit complicated. Kang Han Kyul (Lee Hyun Woo) is a famous, and very talented, composer. Having worked for a famous band long before they were stars, he has achieved a lot more in his youth than most do in their careers. However, he has fallen into a deep depression and no longer seems to have any motive to live. That is until he hears a voice that strikes a chord in his heart. Yoon So Rim (Joy) is a high school student. She has a voice unlike any Kang Han Kyul has ever heard. Yoon So Rim sees the pain in the sound composer's heart. Through her kindness and serenity, she convinces him to return to life. And through her voice, she makes her way into his heart. The problem, though, is that Kang Han Kyul intentionally hid his identity from Yoon So Rim. So for a man who has fallen in love, is it even possible for it to be real when you are hiding your true who you really are?I'm not 100% certain about what aspect of this drama i liked the least - the storyline or the acting...
I tried to get into it but the acting is so disappointing and crappy that I just couldn't do it.
Would I watch this again? I might give it another go in the future but i'm not sure so it' a no right now - StarsKim Young-kwangSin Jae-haLee Ji-hoonThe Starry Night is a Chinese-South Korean collaboration web drama. At twenty-nine-years-old, Go Ho faces the struggles of the modern day woman, namely the struggles to succeed in work and romance in the 21st Century. An advertisement contractor who is unlucky in love, Go Ho works hard to be successful with her career, and only thinks of romance as an afterthought. But one day, an old flame turns up, taking on the role of her new boss, and suddenly it seems like every man is looking her way. Will the dust settle long enough for her to make the right romantic choices?I enjoyed this unrealistic fantasy of a drama. It was short and cheerful and nothing drastic really happened which I was fine with, especially after the rubbish I watched prior to this.
Would I watch it again? Yeah, I would - StarsHa Seok-jinJun So-minLee Hae-inA kind school teacher suddenly becomes heir to a large company on the condition she marries the owner's grandson. As she is interested in neither, they make a deal that if they manage to date for a full six months, he will inherit instead. It was a good, cutesy drama that had the potential to be much better. There were so many opportunities for there to be more heartbreak and disaster but it wasn't put into place. The storyline also felt like it had some bits missing and overall, the drama just felt like it needed that little something more.
Would I watch it again? No, most likely not - StarsLee JehoonShin Min-aJo Han-chulThe drama tells the story of Yoo So-joon, who can travel through time by a subway. After seeing his future-self living miserably, Joon decides to marry Ma Rin in order to avoid that fate. As time passes, he learns to love her selflessly.Ok, let me start off by saying that i don't hate this 100% and i could potentially return to finish it off at some point in the future but ONLY because of all the positive reviews and the chemistry between the lead roles that i have witnessed.
This drama could have definitely been my cup of coffee if it hadn't had so much back and forth. It got super boring at times and i pretty much had to drag myself through it til episode 7 (didnt finish this episode; watched half and made a decision that i dont wanna watch it any longer).
Would I watch it again? Yeah, maybe - StarsLee Joon-giPark Hae-jinLee Cho-heeYoung Ji Eun-Tak can see ghosts and meets Kim Shin, a man who is a goblin. The goblin is cursed to live forever and his only hope is to find a betrothed who can pull out the sword stuck in his chest. All i have to say is what an absolute waste of time.
Would I watch it again? Hell no. - StarsSeo In-GukNam Ji-hyunYoon Sang-HyunAn heir used to shopping away his grief finds himself trapped in Seoul with no memory and no one to help him except a sweet, rural girl who teaches him the value of a life without money.I really liked the way this began and went back and forth between the past and the present without being too much but as it continued, the flashbacks became more like time fillers rather than actual, useful content. I do feel like it didn't have to be stretched into 16 episodes and if it had been condensed, it could've been better and finished earlier. The comedy and drama worked well together although i did feel the comedy aspect was a little overdone at times but that's just my personal preference.
Would I watch it again? Maybe but I'd stop at an earlier episode lol - StarsSo Ji-seobShin Min-aJung Gyu-woonA lawyer in her thirties coming out of a long relationship decides to regain her figure and health after meeting a renowned personal trainer who obsesses with leading a healthy lifestyle after suffering a serious injury in his childhood. This was cute. If I had time to binge watch this, I think I would've dropped it earlier when it started to get a bit draggy/filler-y but because I was having to spread the episodes out (i'm an adult now lol), I ended up completing the entire thing.
The lead roles were great - my only issue is the crying. It wasn't as bad as it could've been but i mean, just barely. Henry Lau is so cute and v underrated which is sad. But i would also like to add that I loved Choi Jin Ho's character here too. The bromance was great, is what i'm trying to say lol.
Would I watch it again? Maybe, if there was nothing else to choose from - StarsKang Ji-hwanYoon Eun-hyeSung JunJealous when her friend steals and marries her first love, a woman lies that she too is married. The lie ensnares a hotel president who goes along with the lie for his own reasons. Will the lie become reality? The story line was ok but the reason as to why i couldn't fully immerse myself into this drama was because of the male lead. There was just something quite off-putting about him and so I didn't finish this show.
Would I watch it again? No - StarsKim Pu-reumYoon Doo-joonKim So-hyunAbout an actor who's showcase family is famous and a radio writer who fell in love with radio after her mother became blind when she was a teen. She gets the actor to become her DJ not knowing their shared history as teens. He had trouble sleeping but she's just the thing he needs. She had trouble writing but learns to find her voice.I HIGHLY, HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS. Honestly, idk where to start with my praise for this drama. The storyline was great, not your average love-story drama line but a lot of real family dynamics. The casting was fab too (Yoon Doo Joon *heart eyes*). But i think the highlight for me was the way in which the female lead character's role was written. She was so emotionally mature, strong and understanding and it's not often you get that with female leads in kdramas. She wasn't constantly crying or running away when the mum-figure tried to make her leave etc. It was honestly so good and Kim So Hyun did justice to Song Geu Rim's character. Even Yura's character, Jin Tae Ri, had an amazing character development and i was here for it all. Although one of the few things i didn't enjoy were the lead kisses. NO PASSION IN THOSE KISSES AND EVEN THE LIP KISSES WERE PECKS! I get that he's got his idol image to protect and she's pretty young but come on man. Anyway, that's kind of the only thing i wasn't 100% here for lol.
Would I watch it again? HELL YEAH! - StarsJun Ji-hyunKim Soo-hyunPark Hae-jinDo Min-Joon, an alien that came to our planet 400 years ago, will be able to return to his planet in 3 months, but when he meets famous actress Chun Song-Yi, all the centuries he spent distancing himself from humans come to an end.For a sci-fi/fantasy drama (which aren't typically my faves), this was pretty decent. It had a good story line, especially in the beginning when things were moving at a fairly fast pace and the story was unfolding. Around the middle and towards the end, things started to get quite draggy and I just had to do some fast-forwarding to get past it all and reach the content i was here for. I understand they had to lengthen things out due to the extension of the number of episodes but still...anyway, the ending of this drama. idrk what to say about it. when i watched it, i was kinda like 'um...no i don't think i watched all 21 episodes for it to end like this' but after reading some comments, i completely understood the reason for the bittersweet ending.
Also this is long already but i just want to add that if anyone else has watched goblin or any of the other fantasy/sci-fi dramas i've mentioned before in this list that i didnt like, and didn't like them or they made you give up on kdramas with that kind of story line then trust me, this is worth watching and restoring your kdrama fate.
Would I watch it again? Maybe - StarsYunaIm Yoon-hoJung-Hun ChoePark Shi Hyun's younger sister is so engrossed in video games and her computer. Shi Hyun tries to get his sister to return to the real world, however his nemesis Lee Mong Ryong is trying to stand in the way.Through my kdrama experience, i have come to learn that i really don't like the manga-based tv shows. They're just not for me. This one has 10, 10-minute episodes and i tried two and couldn't get into it. As a result, it is a 1* rating from me.
Would I watch it again? Of course I wouldn't. - StarsHa Ji-WonGo Won-HeeWoo HyeonA romantic story of two best friends who were friends for last 20 years but never realize they have been in love all the time. This actually took me a while to complete which is a surprise to me. When i first started it, the premise of the show was great because i like the whole friends-to-lovers tropes but it just started to drag a little and i started to dislike Oh Ha Na especially around the return on Cha Seo Hoo. For me, i think the drama went on for too long. It may have worked better as a mini-drama or a movie but as a 16 episode drama, it was not worth the hour+ i would spend on this show.
Would I watch it again? I think not. - StarsGo AraJung WooYoo Yeon-seokIn 1994, college students were crazy about basketball and Korea's hip-hop artists; with students from various countryside areas attending college in Seoul, they mingle together for true friendship, love and lots of fun at a boarding house.I'M SO DISAPPOINTED IN THIS ONE :(
I was thinking it would be as great as its predecessor (WHICH I LOVED A LOT) but it started off v slow and i was ready to give up around episode 2 however I stuck to it and it started getting better. It was going great, sometimes it was a little slow but that was understandable considering the damn episodes were between 1hr 15 and 1hr 30 mins long (why, idk. it's unnecessary imo) BUT THEN it got to ep 14, everyone knows who's gonna be with who and in my head i'm thinking, yes it's almost finished and then i can start a new drama so i decide to check the ep list and to my horror, there are 21 - yes, you read that right - TWENTY ONE episodes in total. The last 14 were long enough. I can't do this anymore.
Overall the premise for this show was great. I love the idea of it but the execution was where it lacked hence the 6 stars (and the fact that the episodes are soooo long and tend to drag v often)
Would I watch this again? Most likely, not - StarsPark SeohamShin Se-hwiLee Chang-YeopThe friendship and love lives of three single virgins born in 1983. The boy they liked in their youth shows up one day when they live in rundown apartments. They discover the meaning of home, family and friendship. When I first started this drama, I was a bit meh but then I decided to give it a chance because the female friendships were cute and the main leads were cute together and it was just nice. I reached episode 22 and it just wasn't going anywhere. It was on a constant boring straight line and nothing exciting happened so I dropped it. I may have carried on mindlessly but I was going on holiday on the 1st of December so I needed to stop and get my priorities sorted lol
Would I watch it again? I don't think so. - StarsKim Nam-gilKim Ah-jungYun Ju-sangThe best acupuncturist of Joseon, Heo Im, finds himself traveling 400 years into the future, where he meets Choi Yeon Kyung, doctor in a modern hospital. Though impressed by her, differences in their methods and priorities make them clash.THIS HAD A LOT OF POTENTIAL BUT IT JUST LET ITSELF DOWN!!!
I liked the storyline and the acting was cute but honestly there were times where it could've sped up and we could've moved on but it didn't. Sometimes the humour came off as childish and was annoying more than it was funny.
Furthermore, I would like to add that I am not able to give a 100% accurate review of this drama as it's been a while since I dropped it (towards the end of Jan 2020 I think it was) but i've not had the chance to review it.
Would I watch it again? No, I don't think I would - StarsJung So-minLee Min-kiEsomJi Ho is a single woman. She's a writing assistant of dramas. She's a strong and determined woman. Unfortunately, she has to leave her house and seeks other place to live. Her friends help her to find a roommate. That roommate is Se Hee.THIS DRAMA WAS SO CUTE!
I loved how fast-paced it was and the chemistry between the M and F leads were all so good. It had the perfect balance between humour, romance and slice-of-life. I enjoyed it a lot!
Would I watch it again? Of course! - StarsLee Jun-hoWon Jin-ahLee Ki-wooA major accident takes the lives of 48 people. The lives of the survivors, those who lost loved ones and those connected to the parties blamed for the tragic event are also marked forever.Ok so I knew this was going to be an emotional one but I didnt realise just how relatable it would be. I cried one too many times during this. I also loved the FL as she didnt take shit from anyone but it wasnt in the typical sassy, rude way. She was v polite and classy about it. Also Junho is v cute and did a wonderful job of playing the ML. Their chemistry was cute too. The only thing I wasnt too happy about was the last couple of episodes began to drag out a bit but thats easy to overlook when you've had a good 13-14 episodes of decent storyline.
Would I watch this again? Yes, v likely - Each week IMDb celebrates some of our favorite celebrity birthdays by looking back at iconic roles, box-office hits, early IMDb credits, and more.THIS SHOULD BE ENDLESS LOVE (2014) - NOT AVAILABLE ON IMDB
What a waste of time. I only watched 1.5 episodes and honestly, I just knew this wasn't for me. Hwang Jung Eum's acting was so OTT I just could not handle all that shouting and screeching. Also I didn't like Ryu Soo Young as a ML. He's just not a sight for sore eyes in my opinion.
Anyway. This was a load of shit.
Would I watch this again? Absolutely not. - StarsKim Hyun-sookChoi Kang-heeKwon Sang-wooBored with life as a housewife, Yoo Seol-Ok pursues her passion for mysteries by investigating small cases with a local policeman. Inadvertently interfering with a bigger case, she will team up with the detective in charge to solve crimes.I thoroughly enjoyed this. I really didn't think I would because of the concept of a married woman and a non-married man (if there was romance between them, it wouldn't sit right with me personally) but honestly, it was all great. The only reason for the 8.5 and not a 10 is because I just felt like they dragged the ending. I wanted a solid conclusion for season 1; season 2 could have it's own mysteries to solve, you know?
Would I watch this again? Maybe - StarsJoo Sang-ukHan Ye-seulJung Gyu-woonOverweight, kind-hearted Sa Geum-ran (Ha Jae-sook) married into a well-to-do family.So. I got four episodes into this but it just wasn't for me. It reminded me a lot of the Korean film, 200 Pound Beauty, and I just wasn't that into it. Also, the first episode was kind of the only one I truly watched. The others were pretty much just background noise.
Would I watch this again? No - StarsKim You-JinChoi Woo-sikLee Soo-kyungHogu meets his high school crush at a school reunion and falls in love all over again. But, she is dealing an unplanned pregnancy and a few dark secrets. This one took me a little longer than expected to complete but hear me out. Initially, i wasn't too into it. Ho Goo as a character, especially main lead, was just not doing much for me so I considered dropping the show around episode 2 but then I pushed on through and everything began coming together around ep 4/5. This drama was so much more than i expected. It was funny, serious and cute all at once. The fact that a kdrama portrayed rape/sexual assault, being a single mother etc is a novel idea in and of itself but this was done in such a manner that it wasn't overwhelming in the way it could've been (v serious all the way through). This isn't me trying to say that rape/sexual assault is something to be taken lightly; it's far from it. I'm just glad to see that this drama added some light-heartedness while tending to a serious storyline/situation.
Would I watch this again? Maybe - StarsJang Na-raJung Kyung-hoSeo In-youngFormer members of a girl band pursue romance with various suitors while coming to terms with their waning celebrity statuses and ever-evolving relationships with one another.MY 100TH KDRAMA!!!!
I truly did not see myself enjoying this drama when I initially added it to my watch list but it was just one of the recommendations I'd found based on other dramas I'd watched and enjoyed; this clearly was not the case. Normally I don't really like multiple romantic character plots in one drama (main couple and side couple is ok but more than that becomes too much, you know?) but I really liked this one. I liked the friendship between all four women and the individuality of each of their romantic relationships. It was just cute. Of course, as with quite a few dramas, there were moments where it was just a liiiittle bit draggy and I had to skip through but that's just me. I'm impatient, shoot me.
Would I watch this again? Perhaps.
