At the tender age of 15, Gilbert Gottfried began doing stand-up at open mike nights in New York City and, after a few short years, became known around town as "the comedian's comedian". After spending several years mastering the art of stand-up comedy, producers of the legendary NBC late-night comedy show Saturday Night Live (1975) became aware of Gottfried and, in 1980, hired him as a cast member. It was not until a few years later that his notoriety began after MTV hired him for a series of improvised and hilarious promos for the newly formed channel. This led to several television appearances on The Cosby Show (1984).
Gottfried's work in television soon led to roles in film. Most notable was his improvised scene as business manager "Sidney Bernstein" in Beverly Hills Cop II (1987). The New York Daily News critic wrote that "Gilbert Gottfried steals the picture with a single scene". Aside from his glowing reputation in comedy clubs, Gottfried gained a reputation as the king of quirky roles in both movies and television. He appeared in such movies as Problem Child (1990), Problem Child 2 (1991), Look Who's Talking Too (1990), and The Adventures of Ford Fairlane (1990). He was also the host of the very popular late night movie series Up All Night (1989).
After his performance as the wise cracking parrot "Iago" in the Disney classic Aladdin (1992), Gottfried became one of the most recognizable voice-over talents. His signature voice was heard in several commercials, cartoons and movies, including the frustrated duck in the AFLAC Insurance commercials. Gottfried was the voice of Digit in the long-running PBS series Cyberchase (2002).
Gottfried was a regular on the new Hollywood Squares (1998) and was a frequent guest on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno (1992) and Howard Stern on Demand (2005). He appeared in the hit comedy documentary The Aristocrats (2005), with Entertainment Weekly opining that, "out of the 101 comedians who appear on screen, no one is funnier - or more disgusting - than Gilbert Gottfried".
"Gilbert Gottfried Dirty Jokes" was recently released on both DVD and CD, featuring 50 non-stop minutes of Gottfried telling the funniest and filthiest jokes, ever. The show was filmed live at the Gotham Comedy Club in New York City. Also featured on the DVD are some of the funniest bonus features ever, including wild stories, indignant ranting and celebrity impressions. For this live performance, Gottfried put aside political correctness and fires an onslaught of jokes that know no boundaries. At the end of the show, Gottfried told what is known among comedians as the "Dirtiest Joke of All Time", the basis for The Aristocrats (2005). He was one of the most sought-after comedians, and regularly performed live to sold-out audiences across North America.
Gottfried died of ventricular tachycardia at the age of 67, leaving behind his wife, his two children, and his sister, Karen.- Billy Mays was born on 20 July 1958 in McKees Rocks, Pennsylvania, USA. As his career evolves as an actor, Joe Hursley is being recognized for his ability to portray complex characters combining comedy, physicality, and drama. In "Sequence," an intense action/fantasy/horror short internationally recognized at festivals worldwide, he was recognized with a nod for Best Actor (Short Shorts Film Festival Japan 2014), and celebrated shared success with the short's overall Best Short win at Academy sanctioned LA Shorts Fest (2013).
Recently, he has been tapped to lead independent films where the dual themes of comedy/drama and fantasy/reality collide. In "The Origins of Wit and Humor," he is Les Candalero, a relatable modern day Woody Allen-esque outsider. At the other end of the spectrum in the upcoming indie feature, "Espionage Tonight," he stars as a CIA operative on a gritty reality TV show.
Hursley cut his comedic feature chops in blockbuster movies like "Accepted," "Resident Evil: Extinction," and "Fast and Furious," which lead him to his first starring feature role with cult director Penelope Spheeris (Black Sheep, Wayne's World) in "Balls to the Wall" (2011). His first break in the business was being tapped by Ashton Kutcher to use his subversive sense of humor in both reality prankster series "Punk'd" and "You've Got a Friend."- Actress

The burly character actor Gordon Jump will probably be best remembered for the role of the radio station manager Arthur Carlson in the TV sitcom WKRP in Cincinnati (1978). This is coincidental since, in the first part of his working life, he was found either behind a microphone or camera in stints with radio and TV stations in the Midwest, including producing jobs at stations in Kansas and Ohio.
Moving to Los Angeles in 1963, he quickly became involved in stage productions with Nathan Hale and Ruth Hale, a couple who had opened a small theater in Glendale, California, several years earlier, in order to make ends meet. The Hales preferred the stage to film, and they abandoned Hollywood film hopes when their theater was successful. Others developing their acting talents with the Hales included Mike Farrell and Connie Stevens. Jump always credited Ruth Hale for the real start of his career as an actor, and it has been said that Jump remained most passionate about acting in live theater.
He soon started appearing in numerous TV series, including Daniel Boone (1964), Get Smart (1965), and Green Acres (1965). Through his association with the Hale clan, he became a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, which led to appearances in educational and religious short films produced and directed by Judge Whitaker at Brigham Young University in the 1960s. He played a Mormon bishop in "You Make the Difference", a thoughtful husband in Marriage: What Kind for You? (1967), and even the Apostle Peter in Mormon Temple Film (1969). Ruth was instrumental in getting Jump to give up smoking, and she also admonished him to turn down offers to do beer commercials. To the end of his life, he took his membership in his faith seriously, including its health codes. He also was in other LDS church films including When Thou Art Converted 1967, What about Thad? 1969, The Guilty 1978 and Families are Forever 1982.
Gordon remained predominantly a television actor throughout a long career in the arts, but he did appear in some small parts in feature films such as Conquest of the Planet of the Apes (1972). He also had a cameo appearance in The Singles Ward (2002), a comedy involving young Latter-Day Saint cultural experiences, which was written and directed by Kurt Hale, the grandson of Ruth and Nathan.
Beyond his acting career, Gordon produced The Tony Randall Show (1976) and directed an episode of WKRP in Cincinnati (1978). In the last years of his life, he was readily recognizable as the lonely Maytag Washer repairman in commercials that ran on television for several years starting in 1989. He effectively portrayed Ol' Lonely until retiring from the role just before his death. (The repairman was lonely because the machines never broke down.) As is often the case for actors with a flair for comedy, he was also adept at playing dramatic roles. As is also often the case with character actors, his face is recognizable to many who never knew his name.- Producer

They have one child.- Lovable, laid-back Jesse White made acting seem fun and easy. He was born Jesse Marc Weidenfeld in Buffalo, New York, and was raised in Akron, Ohio. He made his first amateur appearance on the local stage at age 15. Before breaking into professional theater in the 1940s, he held many different jobs, including selling beauty supplies and lingerie. Jesse got his start in vaudeville and burlesque, and eventually reached Broadway in 1943. The following year, he played the rascally, gruff-mannered asylum attendant in Harvey, starring Frank Fay. This role made him famous and he went on to appear with James Stewart in the movie version (Harvey (1950)). The 1950s was a decade of transition to the new medium of television. As a television regular, he did something that had never been done before - he appeared regularly in two series at the same time. In Private Secretary (1953) and The Danny Thomas Show (1953). This record stood for 13 years until Leo G. Carroll appeared simultaneously on The Man from U.N.C.L.E. (1964) and The Girl from U.N.C.L.E. (1966)).
One of Jesse's earliest television appearances is a 1961 episode of the sci-fi series Once Upon a Time (1961) in which he played, prophetically enough, The Repairman. Jesse would make guest appearances on dozens of television series, and appear in 60 movies, almost always playing a lovable rascal. Some of his last movie appearances were in the sci-fi movies Pajama Party (1964) and The Ghost in the Invisible Bikini (1966). Then the 50-year-old Jesse seized a terrific career opportunity. From 1968-1989, he would be television's second and longest running Maytag Repairman in a long series of commercials. For this, he made several hundred thousand dollars a year, for just a few days filming. Even though he was semi-retired during this time, Jesse appeared in a dozen movies, his last film being Matinee (1993), which was an homage to some of the 1950s-1960s sci-fi films of which he had been a part. Jesse always seemed to be having as much fun acting as the fans did watching him.
Jesse White died of a heart attack on January 9, 1997, only six days after his 80th birthday. He was interred at Mount Sinai Memorial Park in Los Angeles, California. - Actor

Michael McGlone was born in White Plains, NY, the third born child of Joe and Jean McGlone. Raised in various towns throughout the American northeast, it was in 1991, when the family was living in Fairfield, CT that McGlone departed for New York City and Tisch School of the Arts at NYU, wherefrom, a year later, in his words he "self-graduated." Not long after, through an ad in the paper Backstage, he landed the role that would mark the beginning of his career as an actor. That role was the beloved Patrick McMullen, the excessively moral and excessively conflicted youngest brother in the Sundance Festival Grand Jury Prize Winning film The Brothers McMullen. With the middle brother and director of that film, Edward Burns, McGlone would go on to star in She's the One and later, with Philip Noyce, The Bone Collector, with Bruno Barreto, One Tough Cop and in Bob Giraldi's classic sleeper independent film Dinner Rush. As prolific in television, McGlone's numerous recurring roles include the fan favorite Detective Szymanski on Person of Interest, Bobby McKeen in Starz' dramatic series Crash, and SpikeTV's The Kill Point. In a return to the screen with Eddie Burns you can also see him in their third feature film together, The Fitzgerald Family Christmas, in which McGlone plays the fiery Quinn Fitzgerald...
Also a writer, director, producer, musician and performer McGlone's life is often full with work on simultaneous projects. Whether his award winning Kenny The Gun, his various poetry and novels, stand-up comedy or Music, McGlone has always pursued the most abundant expression of his multi-talents.
As to Michael's Music, his latest EP, The Center, is now available along with his three full length records, HERO, To Be Down and SPEED, in addition to his various singles, The Other Side, Guinivere, Let the Light In, Everywhere I Go (You Go), Rise Up, The Hammer and Thank you again.... His fourth album, Two Dancers, is on deck...an album which will include, in McGlone's words, "The finest productions of my Music, yet..."
Among the reviews of his Music, one concluded, "The world needs more songs like Hero, and more songwriters like Michael McGlone."
In addition to his writing for both television and film, McGlone is also the author of the novels CAL, "And All the Roses Dying...", Dice, Hourigan's Song and The Soft Drive...as well as several volumes of verse and short stories...
With various projects in development, most recently McGlone can be seen on ABC's The Rookie: Feds, in the role of the hard-nosed Commander Trent Hyde and in the coming weeks look for him on CBS's NCIS: Hawai'i in an episode written by Amy Rutberg, when he joins the exceptional Vanessa Lachey, et al in the role of Dennis Lang...- Steve Tom was born on 20 September 1953 in Houston, Texas, USA. Born and raised in Memphis, Tennessee, Chris Parnell enrolled at Germantown High School where he took drama and auditioned for every play. In 1985, when he was a senior at Germantown, he was voted "Most Talented" by his classmates. Right after graduating high school, Chris attended North Carolina School of Arts in Winston-Salem, where he received his BFA in Drama. He later performed with the Berkshire Theatre in Stockbridge, Massachusetts, and the Alley Theatre in Houston, Texas. Afterwards Chris moved back to Tennessee and taught acting, film, and video at his own Germantown High School. He became bored, however, with teaching and moved to Los Angeles. Once in LA, he got a job at FAO Schwartz in Beverly Center, where he eventually became Operations Manager. During that time, Chris began taking classes at The Groundlings Main Company, where many Saturday Night Live (1975) cast members are discovered. Fate would have it that talent scouts from Saturday Night Live (1975) saw him and asked him to fly to New York for an audition. Completely surprised by his chances, he took the offer. To his amazement soon after he joined Saturday Night Live (1975) and became a featured player in the 1998-99 season. Parnell has since performed many impressions as NBC News' Tom Brokaw, former House Speaker Newt Gingrich, Tom Hanks, Senator John McCain, and Eminem. - Deidrie Henry, was born in Barbados an is an award-winning actor and musician and much, much more. She came to the U.S. with her family in the late 1970s.. As a student at Atlanta's Avondale High School, the range of her talents was already on display, as she excelled academically as well as in music, drama, athletics, cheer-leading, student government, and more. She had an extraordinary capacity to be competitive AND collaborative, fierce AND friendly. She was like a powerful bomb made out of peppermint-flavored glitter: complex, potent, surprising, utterly delightful. Henry initially set out to apply her talents and dreams as a commercial airline pilot. She earned her degree in aeronautical science and a pilot's license at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, in Florida, with plans of a career in the skies. However, she graduated just as her anticipated employer, Eastern Airlines, was in chaos and eventually folded. Henry poured herself into a series of opportunities in theatre, first in Atlanta and then based in New York, Oregon, Paris, and finally Los Angeles. In New York, among other things, she won the Backstage Bistro Award as the city's Outstanding Vocalist and Cabaret Debut for her Cabaret entitled "What a Day For a Daydream". In Oregon, among other things, she made a living performing Shakespeare, August Wilson, Chekhov, to name a few. In Paris, she sang in a cabaret, toured and recorded with an African Band, Yeou Terre Foulbe, among other things, she was in freakin' Paris (how dope is that?!?). Since moving to LA, in 2004, however, Henry has been busy, fulfilled, and thoroughly appreciated at the highest levels of her crafts, starring on stage and screen. From that base she has toured the country with award-winning shows and been cast in some of the most memorable television shows ever. On stage she has played lead roles in "Raisin in the Sun," "Streetcar Named Desire," "Yellowman," "Lady Day at Emerson's Bar and Grill," "The Ballad of Emmett Till," and many others. She has won multiple awards, including the LA Tony for Best Actress and the NAACP Image Award. She has also been honored with an Ovation Award, Backstage Garland Award and the Los Angeles Drama Critic Circle Award. Perhaps best of all, when she was recently cast as Billie Holiday, everyone just said, "That's gonna be awesome." And it was. If you've ever heard her sing, you'd understand. It takes a legend to be a legend. Deidrie brought Billie back to life. Her screen credits include MacGyver, Game of Silence, Criminal Minds, Justified, CSI, Bones, Ghost Whisperer, The Riches, Brothers and Sisters, E.R., Shark, Without A Trace, and NCIS. Also fun: you may know this brilliant, multi-talented, award-winning singer and actor and civil rights activist as "Annie," the longtime TV spokesperson for Popeye's Chicken. #myBHM

Actor Tim Williams who has had a quiet career, burst onto the scene in 2016, in his breakout role A commercial! Yes he is the spokesman for Trivago.com. Helen Hunt also had a career that was quiet, until a commercial spot, led her to stardom, on Mad About You. Tim Williams unfortunately has not found that breakout acting role that actors yearn for. If it's to happen, now is the time, and this is why. In the week following the election in the US in 2016 Tim Williams's IMDb ranking shot up over 5000 spots! Yes that's right. One week only. From 2014 with the release of Labyrinth of Lies , Playing the part of Major Parker his popularity has risen steadily from a low ranking of 60,000 to a peak of 5000. To put Star rankings into perspective Marion Michael Morrison who has not made a picture since 1976 and passed away in 1979 had a Star ranking of 24 10 years after his death! 1989 was the first year of any actors ranking. Marion Michael Morrison's current ranking is 905 and in mid 2016 was over 1000. Not bad for "The" most internationally recognized actor of the 20th Century! Oh did I forget to mention Marion Michael Morrison was John Wayne! Tim Williams has "It", Looks and talent, Just like The "Duke". Hollywood needs to capitalize on his popularity with the many women who are new fans between the ages of 30 through 55. Lets hope it will be long before his agent is contacted by somebody, and we see more of this American-born actor.
Tim who was born in Houston Texas in 1966, spent a lot of his time, between there and New York, because his father was head golf pro, at a private country club. His parents eventually divorced the year Tim became a teenager in 1979. While he was permanently in New York at this time, he eventually settled, with his mother and sister, back in Houston later that year. While in high school, he was bitten by the acting bug. He walked into the drama class one day after school, and asked the teacher, "Could you make me an actor." Well he did and learned his craft well. Also around that same time, Williams was becoming obsessed, with the rock music of the bands, Kiss, Pink Floyd, Aerosmith, and Led Zeppelin. He also played in a few bands locally. After leaving high school, he decided to move to New York, and pursue roles on, "off-off Broadway" plays and TV shows. He also managed at that time to procure an agent.
His agent had no trouble, finding the handsome young actor, his first acting role. This was on the Cosby Show. He played the part of a teenage boy who got an underage teenage girl pregnant. His part, in that particular episode, ended up on the cutting room floor. That was because, it was, too far outside the comfort zone, at that time, for Network Execs. His first official listed acting role, was with Claire Danes, on the TV show, "My So-Called Life". This was followed, by an appearance on, "The Sopranos". This would lead to his next gig that took him across the pond to Europe.Shortly after this
Shortly after this he auditioned, and won the lead role, in a German film. Not knowing the language, and against the advice of his agent, he took the role anyway. While filming there, he began to learn the German language. While working on the film, he met a local girl. He fell in love. Tim soon made a decision, to permanently stay Germany, in late August 2001. Several days later in New York on Sep 11 the city was attacked. 9/11 solidified his decision to stay in Germany.
With this new commitment, he was determined to learn the German language. Today he speaks it fluently, with no hint of an American accent! Many actors are able, to pull off an accent, at will. But Tim's commitment, to learn German, and be able to be employed, in that country while speaking German, speaks volumes.
Eventually he found his way onto a German television soap opera, Guten Zeiten, Schlechte Zeiten (2012-2013). In English that translates to, Good Times, Bad Times. He plays an American rock star whose time has passed. He is perfect for the role, as he has been playing guitar, since high school. He doesn't have to do his best air guitar! Before he got this role however, had been in numerous American and German productions, between 2001-11. Most notable was, "Valkyrie" (2008) starring Tom Cruise).
As mentioned earlier, Tim who has been mostly unknown in the United States until the Trivago commercial, came and went in public in The U.S. as he pleased and was never noticed. Now he's as recognizable as George Clooney. While considering himself as, not being "Famous", he was recently contacted for an interview by Elle magazine. Not sure that the contact was real, he met the reporter at a restaurant. The reporter was naturally female. He wasn't sure it was an interview or a crazed fan. She was the real thing however.
Still calls Germany his home. Recently working back in Germany. The movie Ballon (2018) which is in post-production, and an episode of the TV program, Die Diplomatin (2018). Still the Trivago.com Spokesman (2018).- He is best known for his Irish look with his natural red hair and slightly freckled skin. In 1996, he graduated from Pearl River High School in Pearl River, New York. In 1998, he took over the role of Ray in the Broadway production of The Beauty of Queen Leenane. He went on to play Second Bell Boy in the production of Once in a Lifetime. In 2005, he appeared in several Verizon Wireless commercials as Schmitty where his business-field character was tormented via cell phone by his friends and roommates.

The character actor Herschel Bernardi was born into a theatrical family on October 30, 1923, in New York, New York. The Yiddish-language theater in the United States was centered in New York City's Lower East Side, on Second Avenue, and the Bernardi family were stage people who plied their craft in Yiddish, as did the Adler Family (Jacob and his children Luther and Stella), Paul Muni and the young Sidney Lumet. The young Herschel was a trouper and appeared on the stage as a child and as a teenager. As a teen, he appeared in the movies Green Fields (1937) and Yankel the Blacksmith (1939), which were shot in Yiddish and directed by future Hollywood B-movie director Edgar Ulmer.
The adult Bernardi, who briefly used the name "Harold" professionally in place of the more ethnic-sounding "Herschel," appeared in bit parts in Hollywood B pictures. In the early 1950s, his movie and television career suffered when he was blacklisted for alleged communist sympathies. After being cleared, Bernardi began to work steadily on TV, in the movies and on the stage.
In 1958, he made his first impact on popular American culture as Lieutenant Jacoby, the hapless policeman who was a friend of Craig Stevens's eponymous private detective Peter Gunn (1958) in Blake Edwards' influential TV series. "Peter Gunn" was heavily indebted to film noir, German expression, and California cool jazz, and the contrast of the harassed Jacoby with the coolly patrician Gunn was part of the dynamic that drove the series. For his role as Lt. Jacoby, Herschel Bernardi received his sole Emmy nomination, in 1959.
Possessed of a resonant voice, Bernardi did a lot of voice over work on television, providing the "Ho ho ho!" of the Jolly Green Giant and the voice of Charley the Tuna in TV commercials. Most famously, he used his singing voice to take over for Zero Mostel as Tevye the milkman in the Broadway musical Fiddler on the Roof (1971), which was a smash hit when it debuted in 1964. In addition to two stints on Broadway, in both the original show and the revival, Bernardi played Tevye in several road show tours. He was nominated for a Tony in the Broadway revival. He received his first Tony nomination in 1969 for playing the lead in the musical "Zorba."
Off the Broadway stage, Herschel Bernadi was a supporting character owing to his average face. Yet in 1970, Bernardi finally played a leading man in a filmed entertainment when he was cast as Arnie Nuovo, an ethnic blue-collar worker who is promoted off of the loading dock into management by an eccentric business owner. As the eponymous Arnie (1970), Bernardi was twice nominated for a Golden Globe. The series was canceled after two seasons.
Bernardi continued to find steady work as a character actor, mostly on TV. In 1976, he appeared in support of Woody Allen in Martin Ritt's The Front (1976), a movie about the Hollywood blacklist that also featured another of the Big Three Tevyes, Zero Mostel. (Both Bernardi and Mostel were beaten out for the role in the Fiddler on the Roof (1971) movie by Topol, who received an Oscar nomination in the role and took over Bernardi's place as Tevye in traveling road shows of "Fiddler on the Roof" after Bernardi's death.) Mostel, like Ritt, had been blacklisted in the 1950s.
Herschel Bernardi died on May 9, 1986, at the age of 62, still a working actor whose services had been in demand from childhood.- Actor

A show-stopping comic for decades, the inimitable Arnold Stang, with the trademark Runyonesque voice and thick, black glasses, started out famously on radio before branching out to include Broadway, films and especially TV. Born on September 28, 1918, in New York City (for decades he himself perpetuated the myth of being born in 1925 in Chelsea, Massachusetts), he was the son of a lawyer. Following the 1929 stock market crash, his father was forced to look elsewhere for work and managed a living as a salesman. The scrawny kid from Manhattan grew up in Brooklyn and attended New Utrecht High School.
During his teen years (early 1930s) he auditioned for and won roles on radio's "Horn and Hardart's Children's Hour," a variety show, and the kiddie program "Let's Pretend," which set off a two-decade stint as one of radio's most popular vocal personalities. His squawky, unmistakable voice was heard as Jughead in the "Archie Andrews" series and as neighbor Seymour Fingerhood on the beloved, Bronx-styled Gertrude Berg classic "The Goldbergs," among others. He even appeared in radio soap operas and mysteries on occasion, often providing comedy relief. A reliable and feisty second banana, he traded quips with the best of them: Eddie Cantor; Jack Benny; Fred Allen; Fanny Brice; Milton Berle, you name it.
In between radio work Stang could sometimes be seen on the stage, his first legitimate play being on Broadway with the short-lived "All In Favour" (1942). This was followed by "You'll See Stars" at the end of that same year. He subsequently moved from radio to TV with the help of Milton Berle in the late 1940s and eventually found a very comfortable niche in comedy as a foil to the big stars. On the satirical Henry Morgan's Great Talent Hunt (1951), he was a regular member of Henry Morgan's stock company as a nerdy teen named Gerard. Plain, plucky but rather sad-sack, his puny-looking nerd types (5'3" and not much over 100 pounds) seemed to beg to have sand kicked in their faces. Yet, as much as they could be pushed around, they often displayed stubborn, delinquent-like streaks and could be mighty pesky in nature and irritating to the nth degree.
Stang also lent his vocal talents quite successfully to cartoon voiceovers beginning with Popeye the Sailor's pal Shorty. He later moved into a lengthy hitch as "Hoiman" the mouse in Paramount's popular "Herman and Katnip" series, but his best known animal character, of course, came later with the title role in Joseph Barbera - William Hanna 1961 classic cartoon series Top Cat (1961). His playing of "T.C", the slick, smart-alecky, Brooklynesque mastermind behind a gang of alley cats, was very reminiscent of Phil Silvers' Sgt. Bilko character from The Phil Silvers Show (1955).
Film work for Stang would be very sporadic over the years providing secondary but stalwart support in such escapism as Seven Days' Leave (1942), My Sister Eileen (1942), Let's Go Steady (1945), Two Gals and a Guy (1951) and the all-star epic It's a Mad Mad Mad Mad World (1963). Stang's best featured part was a rare dramatic role opposite Frank Sinatra in the then-daring topical movie about drug addiction entitled The Man with the Golden Arm (1955). Here he played Frank Sinatra's seedy but loyal pal Sparrow, a role that easily could have influenced Dustin Hoffman when he created his Ratso Rizzo character a decade and a half later in Midnight Cowboy (1969).
From the 1950s, the bespectacled comedian would be a steadfast TV commercial spokesman pitching such products as Delco, Chunky candy ("Chunky...what a chunk o' chocolate!") and Orkin ("Stop squawkin', call Orkin!") using his own, unique style. As for the stage, a few of his later stints included the 1969 Broadway remake of "The Front Page," the role of Hysterium in a production of "A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum," and a part in Woody Allen's "Play It Again, Sam". The owlish comedian continued acting into the 90s with small roles in such movies as Ghost Dad (1990) and Dennis the Menace (1993).
Long married (since 1949) to wife JoAnn Taggart, a writer, Stang died of pneumonia at age 91 in Newton, Massachusetts, just before Christmas in 2009. He was also survived by his two children, David Donald and Deborah Jane.- Lee Marshall was born on 28 November 1949 in Los Angeles, California, USA. He was an actor, known for Super Gran (1985), WCW Thunder (1998) and WCW Saturday Night (1985). He was married to Judie. He died on 26 April 2014 in Santa Monica, California, USA.
