Young Canadian film and TV actor and model.
Verchere was born in Vancouver to Cynthia, a pediatric plastic surgeon at BC Children's Hospital, and Bruce, a diabetes researcher at the University of British Columbia. He has a twin brother and an older brother. Verchere and his twin brother became involved in acting because of their cousin. In 2014, Verchere landed his first voice role in My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic as Pip Squeak.
In 2017, Verchere appeared as the recurring character Nathan Burgle in Fargo, Tommy Walters in the film Woody Woodpecker, and the role of young Shaun Murphy in The Good Doctor. In 2018, Verchere appeared in the horror mystery film Summer of 84.
On 21 August 2018, it was announced that Verchere would be starring as Leo Borlock in Disney's movie adaptation of Jerry Spinelli's young adult novel Stargirl.- Cory's mother decided to add a week-long acting camp to her son's summer itinerary because she just had a feeling that he'd like it, and she was right. He asked to be put into a class for professional actors, so his mother signed him up at the world-acclaimed Arts Umbrella. After studying for six months he asked for an agent, went in to read for one of the best (Trudy Aronson of Webster Talent Management) and landed an agent.
Within one month of 'going pro', he went out for his first audition and nailed it. He got his first acting role on the popular and critically acclaimed series Fargo (2014) and flew to Calgary to perform his very first lines in sign-language. He had just returned to Vancouver when he got the role of 11-year-old Arden, a younger version of a character played by William Moseley in the TV movie My Sweet Audrina (2016) from a book by famed novelist Virginia C. Andrews.
When he got the recurring role of Aden in the enormously popular TV series The 100 (2014), he really didn't know what to expect. It meant using the sword-play that he had learned in medieval fighting classes. He was in a group of 14-year-old and younger who all had brown or black belts. Filming "The 100" only one year after taking an acting camp was surreal for him which went up a couple more notches when he experienced the overwhelming fan response to his character. For The Show (2017), he bravely shaved his head and took on the role of a child with cancer and got to work with Sarah Wayne Callies in a film directed by Giancarlo Esposito.
He also found the time to land three commercials, one of which was as a teen Sasquatch. Apparently his mother did not let him wander around the nearby campgrounds to try to scare campers as it was an area where people practiced target shooting. Guest-starring role on DC's Legends of Tomorrow (2016) was also exciting, because he got to play the young Per Degaton, who just might become one of the most evil super-villains ever. - Actor

Rutina Wesley is known for the character Tara Thorton, on the gritty Southern vampire drama, True Blood (2008). She was born in the city most renowned for glitz and glamour, Las Vegas, Nevada and was exposed to the arts at a very early age; in fact entertainment runs through her veins. Her father, Ivery Wheeler, is a noted tap dancer while her mother, Cassandra Wesley, performed on the Vegas strip as a showgirl. Rutina studied dance for years then earned an undergraduate degree in Theatre Performance from the University of Evansville in Indiana. She had the good fortune to be accepted by the acclaimed Julliard School. During Rutina's stint at Julliard, she was fortunate enough to spend a summer at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. Fortune was with Rutina again when one of her Julliard classmates, Nelsan Ellis, reconnected with her when he became her co-star on True Blood (2008).
After leaving Julliard, Rutina was cast in the Broadway production of a David Hare play, "The Vertical Hour" opposite Bill Nighy. Rutina followed "The Vertical Hour" with an appearance in the Public Theater production, "In Darfur". Her small role in the hit movie, Hitch (2005), was cut from the completed film but that did not deter her from pursuing her dream. She made another big-screen appearance, this time in the dance melodrama How She Move (2007). She also guest starred on the hit television show Numb3rs (2005); however, her break came when she signed onto the HBO production, True Blood (2008).
True Blood (2008) is adapted from the Sookie Stackhouse Southern Vampire literary series by Charlaine Harris and conceived for the small screen by Alan Ball of American Beauty (1999) and Six Feet Under (2001). Rutina's portrayal of Tara Thornton, a character whose caustic tongue and tough manner conceal her vulnerability, helped make True Blood (2008) a cult hit. The success of True Blood (2008) shocked naysayers when the vampire soap opera became a favorite of both critics and audiences alike. We'll be seeing more of Rutina in 2010 when True Blood (2008) returns for its third season.- Ethan Hutchison was born September 7, 2010 on Long Island, NY. Damson Idris is a British actor and producer. Born in 1991 in Peckham South East London to Nigerian parents, he is the youngest of six children. His parents arrived in the UK in search of a better life but he was raised by his single mother, who instilled in him ambition and hard work from a young age. Being the youngest he enjoyed entertaining family and friends and it was obvious early on how natural his talent was for the Arts. His dream nonetheless was to become a professional football player. He also played rugby and in 2002 he shook the hand of Queen Elizabeth II when his team took part in her Golden Jubilee. It wasn't until a knee injury that he began to seriously consider a career in acting.
He studied Theatre, Film & Television Studies at Brunel university in England, where he attained a BA Honours degree. He soon after trained at the Identity School of Acting.
His acting debut in 2012 was on the stages of UK theaters. Idris played the role of Sam in Khadija Is 18 at the Finborough theatre. Written by newcomer Shamser Sinha, it tells the story of the life of two young refugees in the UK and the hopes and heartbreak of the young. The play received great reviews and became a critics choice. The same year Idris starred in Ade Solanke's play Pandora's Box at the Arcola Theatre, before going on a national tour with the production. He offers a charismatic performance as Tope, whose mother forcibly enrolls him to a boarding school in Lagos. The play reveals the long-suppressed truths when a family spanning three generations meet in Lagos for the first time in over thirty years. This followed with a role in Hotel (2014) at the Royal National Theatre.
Developing his acting on the stage and feeding off the positive reaction of the live audience, he felt confident to branch into the small screen. He was cast in small roles in several British TV series including Miranda (2009), Doctors (2000) and Casualty (1986). It wasn't until 2017 that Idris made his Hollywood debut starring as the lead, 'Franklin Saint' a young street entrepreneur in hit FX Crime series Snowfall (2017). It captures the early days of the crack cocaine epidemic during the 1980's in Los Angeles. The series has received critical acclaim and forms one of the last productions of the late Producer and Director John Singleton.
Having firmly proved his acting ability Idris continued to explore TV roles that resonates with the challenges in modern society. In his role in the 'Replay' episode of Producer/Director Jordan Peeles reboot of The Twilight Zone (2019) series, he played Dorian Harrison a College kid faced with a racist interaction with a police officer, whose mother tries to save his life over and over again by rewinding time. In the episode 'Smithereens' of the Black Mirror (2011) series, we see Idris as Jaden, an intern of a large social media company 'Smithereen' and witness the consequences of overactive usage of social media sites and how they can distract society from the real world.
His debut in film came a little earlier in 2016, playing a small role as Hakim in British Thriller City of Tiny Lights (2016). He went on to take on roles with the persona of power and authority, as Lt Michael Foreman in Biographical Drama Megan Leavey (2017) (aka REX in the UK), Agent Denys in Action Thriller The Commuter (2018).
For his first film lead role in 2018 as Enitan in autobiographical Farming (2018), he played his most challenging role yet, the feared leader of a white skinhead gang. Idris continually proves to be a diversified actor and for this performance, won the Award for Best Actor in a British Film at the Edinburgh Film Festival, where the film won the Michael Powell Award.
His latest lead role is in Netflix's Action Sci-Fi film Outside the Wire (2021).- Actor

One of nine children, born and bred in the Bay of Islands, New Zealand (NZ) to a Maori/Welsh father and a European mother, Rena was first published at age eight when she won a national children's poetry contest. Awed by the huge city and the bright lights of the entertainment world, the temptations that came with it easily seduced the naive 22-year-old but this life changing period led her back to a creative career.
Rena trained at the Actors Institute of London in the mid-1980s. During her formative years she worked in all aspects of theater. The first play she wrote, The River That Ran Away, was produced by Clean Break and directed by her mentor, award-winning British actress Ann Mitchell, with Rena in the lead role. Scott Edward Adkins was born on June 17, 1976 in Sutton Coldfield, England, into a family that for generations were butchers. Along with his elder brother Craig, he was raised by their parents, John and Janet (Sanders) Adkins, in a loving middle-class family. Scott attended Bishop Vesey's Grammar School in Sutton Coldfield. Probably not the best of students, he used to sneak downstairs after his parents had gone to bed and watch films all night then fall asleep during lessons. A natural athlete, Scott enjoyed a variety of sports as he grew up, but when he was 10 years old, he accompanied his father and brother to the local Judo club. The attraction was instantaneous. Idolising stars such as Bruce Lee and Jean-Claude Van Damme, Scott began to train everyday. He took over his Dad's garage and turned it into his own Dojo. He even had a shrine to Bruce Lee in there that he would bow to. He remembers being mugged on a bus when he was around 13 and that really kicked his training into overdrive. He wasn't ever going to let that happen again. At the age of 14, Scott went on to train in Tae Kwon Do under the instruction of Ron Sergiew with the T.A.G.B. After a few years, he moved on to Kickboxing under Anthony Jones. He is now a fully trained Kickboxing Instructor for the P. K. A. A self confessed "film junkie" Scott's attention was drawn to acting through the Hollywood Greats. He enrolled in a drama class at Sutton Coldfield College. Being a shy lad he initially found it difficult to be put on stage in front of an audience. Finally, at the age of 21, Scott was offered a place at the prestigious Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art. However, as an impoverished student, he found it hard to make ends meet without a grant and was forced to leave without completing the course. Very dejected he thought that was the end.
His first break came when he was offered a role in a Hong Kong martial arts film called Extreme Challenge (2001) (aka Extreme Challenge). Spotted by Head of The Hong Kong Stuntmen Association and director Wei Tung and English-born Hong Kong movie expert Bey Logan, Adkins found himself in the East for the first time. Scott got the chance to work with some of Hong Kong cinema's leading action directors including Woo-Ping Yuen, Corey Yuen, Sammo Kam-Bo Hung and the legendary Jackie Chan. Acting roles started to come in and he was offered a guest role in BBC's Doctors (2000) filmed at Birmingham's Pebble Mill. A few episodes in BBC's EastEnders (1985) and City Central (1998), and a lead role in Sky One comedy drama Mile High (2003) followed by a regular role in BBC's Holby City (1999) as Bradley Hume, the assistant General Manager of Holby General.
Starring roles in feature films soon followed with his portrayal of Talbot in Special Forces (2003) and Yuri Boyka" in Undisputed 2: Last Man Standing (2006). It was this film that broke him into the mainstream with his villainous portrayal of a Russian MMA underground fighter Boyka in what has been hailed as one of the best American made Martial Arts films of recent times. Along with lead actor Michael Jai White, fight coordinator J.J. Perry and the slick direction of Isaac Florentine this movie has some unbelievably heart stopping fight scenes. After this Scott has had guest starring roles in bigger budget films like The Bourne Ultimatum (2007) and The Tournament (2009), and played Jean-Claude Van Damme's main adversary in Sony Pictures The Shepherd (2008).- Actor

Théodore Pellerin was born on 13 June 1997 in Québec, Canada. He is an actor, known for Genesis (2018), Never Rarely Sometimes Always (2020) and On Becoming a God in Central Florida (2019).- Gabriel Chavarria most recently shot the lead in the USA Network/Syfy series "The Purge". Based on the franchise (about one day each year when murder and mayhem is legalized), Gabriel played "Miguel", a US Marine with a hard edge and a noble mission, prepared to face the senseless violence in the streets alone in order to protect what he loves most - his family. Franchise creator James DeMonaco oversaw the series which is an entirely new chapter in America's 12 hours of annual lawlessness.
Gabriel appeared as "Preacher" in "War For The Planet Of The Apes" with Andy Serkis, Woody Harrelson, Judy Greer and Steve Zahn, directed by Matt Reeves. This third installment of the franchise reboot for Fox has "Preacher" (Chavarria) struggling with his allegiance for the deranged "Colonel" (Harrelson) and his admiration for "Caesar" (Serkis) who has suffered unimaginable losses, and has begun a mystic quest to avenge his kind.
Gabriel's previous lead in the Blumhouse/Imagine/Universal feature "Lowriders" garnered an Imagen Award nomination for Best Actor in a feature film, placing Gabriel opposite Academy Award nominee Demián Bichir, Eva Longoria, Melissa Benoist and Theo Rossi, directed by Ricardo de Montreuil. Gabriel starred as "Danny", a talented tagger/graffiti artist caught between his father (Bechir) and brother (Rossi) who are both competing in the ultimate lowrider supershow celebrating East L.A.'s car culture.
The release of "Hunter Killer" is set for October 26th, with Gabriel opposite Gerard Butler and Gary Oldman. Shot in London,"Hunter Killer" tells the story of an untested American submarine captain teaming with U.S. Navy Seals to rescue the Russian president, who has been kidnapped by a rogue general.
Gabriel also shot the lead role of "Ziggy Rodriguez" with Marg Helgenberger, Melia Kreiling and B.J. Britt in Fox's military thriller pilot "Behind Enemy Lines" (loosely based on the 2001 movie). Written by Nikki Toscano and directed by McG, the narrative closely follows "Ziggy" (Chavarria) as a Navy pilot trapped with this fellow soldiers in hostile foreign territory, while the officers and service men of a nearby aircraft carrier and intelligence officers in D.C. attempt to bring these heroes safely home from "Behind Enemy Lines".
Gabriel's earlier work includes starring as "Jacob" in the Emmy nominated series "East Los High" for four seasons, along with films such as "Freedom Writers", "A Better Life" and various television shows such as "Prime Suspect" and "Major Crimes".
Initially destined to be a professional soccer player, Gabriel was selected at the age of 13 for the Olympic Development Program and invited to play in tournaments across the U.S., Spain and England.
But Gabriel's course would change at the age of 16 when he was discovered during the casting of "Freedom Writers" starring Academy Award winner Hilary Swank. Gabriel happened to be playing basketball at a local recreational park where the film was holding preliminary auditions. At first resistant, Gabriel was convinced by his older brother to audition, and after the month long process, he received the call he'd landed his first role of Tito.
Since then Gabriel's career has continued to rise while he dedicates himself to the entertainment industry and the mastering of his craft.
In between working, Gabriel is heavily involved with West Coast Elite FC soccer club which he co-founded with his brother, developing players and teams which travel and compete all across the U.S and Europe. Gabriel also supports various charitable outreach programs.
With his passion for music, Gabriel recently founded his own independent music label G & B Music Group.
