Jose David Acevedo, also known as "Ace" or "JD," is a multifaceted award-winning producer, director, writer, and actor. His films have garnered critical acclaim and have been showcased in some of the world's most prestigious film festivals.
Born and raised on the picturesque island of Puerto Rico, Jose David is a US NAVY veteran who served for 12 years, completing three combat tours in the Middle East. Following his military career, he moved to Los Angeles to pursue his lifelong passion of becoming an actor and establishing his own production company.
Jose David graduated from California State University, Northridge, with a B.A. in Cinema and Television Production, where his senior thesis documentary "Lily the Glitch" earned numerous accolades at the California State University film festival, including Best Documentary.
As the founder of "Sin Nombre Films," Jose David is committed to creating thought-provoking content that promotes the values of Acceptance, Second Chances, and Redemption. He is always exploring new avenues and producing fresh, innovative content for the web and international production companies.
JD's ambition and drive have led him to pursue a new challenge, as he is currently attending Law School with his sights set on becoming an entertainment attorney. Chrissy Hogue Bartels is an accomplished actor, screenwriter, director, and producer with award-winning work that ranges from Theatre to Commercial. She is also an independent filmmaker, providing exclusive workshops and one-on-one training for film and theatre festivals and as part of her touring one-person show The Stupider Economy.
Chrissy has performed her one-person show The Stupid Economy on tour since 2012. It earned a sell-out performance at United Solo Festival. Since the economy has gotten much stupider since we started touring The Stupid Economy, we felt it was time for a sequel. And thus, The Stupider Economy was born.
Chrissy is a co-founder of the Julien Dubuque International Film Festival which was named Top 25 Coolest Film Festivals in the World by MovieMaker Magazine and has brought The Vagina Monologues to raise $30,000 in 2 nights for a local crisis shelter.
Chrissy served as Executive Producer, Co-Director, Writer, and Actor for the short films 60 Cycle Hum and Valley of Death. She started her education at The American Academy of Dramatic Arts, holds a BA in Theatre from Franklin Pierce University, and an MFA in Film & Television with a concentration in Script & Screenwriting from Regent University.

Melissa Ellen Gilbert is an American actress, television director, producer, politician, and former president of the Screen Actors Guild. Gilbert began her career as a child actress in the late 1960s, appearing in numerous commercials and guest starring roles on television. From 1974 to 1983, she starred as Laura Ingalls Wilder, the second oldest daughter of Charles Ingalls (played by Michael Landon) on the NBC series Little House on the Prairie.
