Toronto native Cassie Steele joins the cast of THE L.A. COMPLEX as Abby. The aspiring Canadian actress is best known for her role as Manny Santos on 10 seasons of the internationally acclaimed drama series Degrassi: The Next Generation. Cassie was a 2003 nominee and the 2002 winner of a Young Artist Award for Best Ensemble Actor in a TV Series for her portrayal of Manny Santos. THE L.A. COMPLEX will premiere in Canada starting on January 12, 2012.
Cassie's other television credits include a lead role in the Disney MOW Lamont's Maccabees, young Sydney in the series Relic Hunter (2002 Young Artist Award nomination for Best Performance in a TV Drama Series), Julie in Full Court Miracle (2004 Young Artist Award nomination for Best Performance in a TV Movie), and a guest appearance on Doc. In the summer of 2007 Cassie played the role of Blu in three episodes of the hit CTV dramatic series Instant Star.
Cassie's love of the arts extends beyond acting. As a talented singer/songwriter, Cassie released her debut album "How Much for Happy" in 2005 and her second album "Destructo Doll" in July 2009. Cassie is currently hard at work on her third album.

Nina Dobrev is a Bulgarian-born Canadian actress. Sarah Fisher was a fan favourite as the series regular role of Becky Baker on the award-winning Canadian Drama, Degrassi: The Next Generation (78 episodes). Sarah played the lead role and was an Associate Producer for the feature film Kiss & Cry (Netflix) where she won "Best Actress Feature" at the Flagler Film Festival in Florida. Melinda Leanna Shankar is a Guyanese-Canadian actress best known for playing Alli Bhandari from the beginning of Season 8 in Degrassi: The Next Generation and Indira "Indie" Mehta on YTV series, 'How to be Indie.' Melinda made her starring mark in 2008 in the 8th season of Degrassi as Alli Bhandari, a confident young women in high school, which she continues to play. She co-starred in a Disney Channel Original Movie, 'Harriet the Spy' as Janie Gibbs alongside with Aislinn Paul, who plays Clare Edwards on Degrassi and Disney Channel's Jennifer Stone. She played the lead role, Reshma, in a 2011 indie-film, entitled 'Festival of Lights'. Melinda has a black belt in karate and she likes hockey. She is good friends with all of her Degrassi co-stars and confirmed that she will take time off of Degrassi to film 'How to Be Indie,' but she will be back some time soon. Aislinn Paul was born on March 5, 1994 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Aislinn is best-known for her role as "Clare Edwards" on Degrassi: The Next Generation (2001). She was a recurring character in seasons 6-7, becoming a regular character in season 8 up to season 14. Most recently seen in NBC's mini series event Heroes Reborn (2015) as Phoebe, a troubled girl with extraordinary and dangerous abilities. The child of two actors, Brian Paul and Deborah Tennant, Aislinn has been part of the industry from an early age. Favorite childhood memories are framed by projects she worked on as a child, particularly the Lifetime series Wild Card (2003). Though Aislinn loved working as an actor while still getting to grow up in Toronto, she decided to make a change, for a short while, when she was asked to relocate to Los Angeles to shoot the HBO series Tell Me You Love Me (2007). What was a fun childhood pastime became a lifelong passion while working on this challenging show. Fueled by her experience she returned to Toronto and immediately joined the cast of Degrassi while also attending an arts high school full time as a dance major. After 7 seasons and more than 200 episodes, it was time for Aislinn to say goodbye to Degrassi. Shortly after wrapping she guest starred on hit shows Haven (2010) and Reign (2013) and even did a guest voice on Adult Swim's smash hit Rick and Morty (2013). Niamh (pronounced "Neve") Wilson is a veteran film and television actor, known for her craft-driven approach to acting, believing in the integral role of all to the final outcome of a project. She brings intuition, empathy, curiosity and humor to her work. Having trained as a dancer, she also infuses her roles with physically and body knowledge, a prime example being her depiction of the gender-fluid "Mouse" in Giant Little Ones. She has worked with many notable directors, including Jean Pierre Jeunet, (The Young and Prodigious T. S. Spivet) and David Cronenberg (Map to the Stars) as well as having been nominated for, and won numerous awards. As a child her maturity and emotive face made her a favorite in horror and supernatural projects. By the time she was in middle school she'd portrayed a ghost and an alien, been haunted, possessed, kidnapped and blown up. Comedic roles eluded Niamh until she landed the title role in a tween-oriented sitcom Debra! (for which she won a Young Artist Award for Best Performance in a TV Series - Leading Young Actress and Outstanding Young Ensemble in a TV Series.)
