Banshee - Season 4 Review

Overall, this season was somewhat disappointing - and following the brilliant third season is no easy feat. This is mainly due to the rather stupid decision to have a serial killer plot-line thrown in the mix where it had no right being. And to top it off, the mystery death had nothing to do with it, so it was completely pointless. Plus this season was sorely lacking the classic Banshee action we all know and loved and even the fight scenes in the finale when they did come were pretty generic choreography-wise. Having said that, the show prioritized character over action pretty effectively when it came to the main characters we know, and the finale was especially poignant. The Bunker brother's were fine, Kurt very well acted. The lack of Job and Sugar kind of sucked but when they had screentime it was great. I'll miss this show, though, and its quirky editing style and awesome characters. On the whole, a flawed final season, but still filled with emotion and great acting.
