Chris Manley is best known for his work on Mad Men. He directed four episodes and photographed 71, earning four Emmy nominations.
Chris got his start as a DP working for Roger Corman. Soon after, he gained notoriety for shooting Dahmer, which earned three Independent Spirit Award nominations and introduced Jeremy Renner. This led to his first TV series, and his first of five ASC nominations. He has also shot numerous pilots, including Homeland.
Chris has directed multiple shows since Mad Men. Most recently, he has been the Producing Director for three seasons of Doom Patrol on HBO Max. He directed 11 episodes of the hit show.
Chris graduated from Temple University in Philadelphia, Pa and enrolled at American Film Institute in California shortly after receiving his Bachelors Degree. He was recognized by Barbara Schock, the director of "My Mother Dreams The Satan's Disciples in New York (1999)" in her acceptance speech for the Best Short Film/Live Action academy award in 2000.
